Psalms 68
1 For the chief musician; A psalm of David, a song. Let God arise; let his enemies be scattered; let those also who hate him flee before him.
Ein Psalmlied Davids, vorzusingen. Es stehe Gott auf, daß seine Feinde zerstreuet werden, und die ihn hassen, vor ihm fliehen.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish in the presence of God.
Vertreibe sie, wie der Rauch vertrieben wird; wie das Wachs zerschmilzt vom Feuer, so müssen umkommen die Gottlosen vor Gott.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God; may they rejoice and be happy.
Die Gerechten aber müssen sich freuen und fröhlich sein vor Gott und von Herzen sich freuen.
4 Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! Praise the one who rides through the plains of the Jordan River valley! Yahweh is his name! Rejoice before him!
Singet Gott, lobsinget seinem Namen! Machet Bahn dem, der da sanft herfährt! Er heißt HERR; und freuet euch vor ihm,
5 A father of the fatherless, a judge of the widows, is God in the holy place where he lives.
der ein Vater ist der Waisen und ein Richter der Witwen. Er ist Gott in seiner heiligen Wohnung,
6 God puts the lonely into families; he brings out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a parched land.
ein Gott, der den Einsamen das Haus voll Kinder gibt, der die Gefangenen ausführet zu rechter Zeit und läßt die Abtrünnigen bleiben in der Dürre.
7 God, when you went out before your people, when you marched through the wilderness, (Selah)
Gott, da du vor deinem Volk herzogest, da du einhergingest in der Wüste, (Sela)
8 The earth trembled; the heavens also dropped rain in God's presence, in the presence of God when he came to Sinai, in the presence of God, the God of Israel.
da bebete die Erde, und die Himmel troffen vor diesem Gott in Sinai, vor dem Gott, der Israels Gott ist.
9 You, God, sent a plentiful rain; you strengthened your inheritance when it was weary.
Nun aber gibst du, Gott, einen gnädigen Regen, und dein Erbe, das dürre ist, erquickest du,
10 Your people lived in it; You, God, gave from your goodness to the poor.
daß deine Tiere drinnen wohnen können. Gott, du labest die Elenden mit deinen Gütern.
11 The Lord gave the orders, and those who announced them were a great army.
Der HERR gibt das Wort mit großen Scharen Evangelisten.
12 Kings of armies flee, they flee, and the women waiting at home divide the plunder:
Die Könige der Heerscharen sind untereinander Freunde, und die Hausehre teilet den Raub aus.
13 doves covered with silver with wings of yellow gold. When some of you people stayed among the sheepfolds, why did you do this?
Wenn ihr zu Felde lieget, so glänzet es als der Tauben Flügel, die wie Silber und Gold schimmern.
14 The Almighty scattered kings there, it was as when it snowed on Mount Zalmon.
Wenn der Allmächtige hin und wieder unter ihnen Könige setzet, so wird es helle, wo es dunkel ist.
15 A mighty mountain is the hill country of Bashan; a high mountain is the hill country of Bashan.
Der Berg Gottes ist ein fruchtbarer Berg, ein groß und fruchtbar Gebirge.
16 Why do you look in envy, you high hill country, at the mountain which God desires for the place he will live? Indeed, Yahweh will live in it forever.
Was hüpfet ihr großen Gebirge? Gott hat Lust, auf diesem Berge zu wohnen, und der HERR bleibt auch immer daselbst.
17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them in the holy place, as at Sinai.
Der Wagen Gottes ist viel tausendmal tausend; der HERR ist unter ihnen im heiligen Sinai.
18 You have ascended on high; you have led away captives; you have received gifts from among men, even from those who fought against you, so that you, Yahweh God, might live there.
Du bist in die Höhe gefahren und hast das Gefängnis gefangen; du hast Gaben empfangen für die Menschen, auch die Abtrünnigen, daß Gott der HERR dennoch daselbst bleiben wird.
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, the God who is our salvation. (Selah)
Gelobet sei der HERR täglich! Gott legt uns eine Last auf, aber er hilft uns auch. (Sela)
20 Our God is a God who saves; Yahweh the Lord is the one who is able to rescue us from death.
Wir haben einen Gott, der da hilft, und den HERRN HERRN, der vom Tode errettet.
21 But God will strike through the heads of his enemies, through the hairy scalps of those who walk in offenses against him.
Aber Gott wird den Kopf seiner Feinde zerschmeißen samt ihrem Haarschädel, die da fortfahren in ihrer Sünde.
22 The Lord said, “I will bring my enemies back from Bashan; I will bring them back from the depths of the sea
Doch spricht der HERR: Ich will unter den Fetten etliche holen; aus der Tiefe des Meers will ich etliche holen.
23 so that you may crush your enemies, dipping your foot in blood, and so that the tongues of your dogs may have their share from your enemies.”
Darum wird dein Fuß in der Feinde Blut gefärbet werden, und deine Hunde werden es lecken.
24 They have seen your processions, God, the processions of my God, my King, into the holy place.
Man siehet, Gott, wie du einherzeuchst, wie du, mein Gott und König, einherzeuchst im Heiligtum.
25 The singers went first, the minstrels followed after, and in the middle were the unmarried girls playing tambourines.
Die Sänger gehen vorher, danach die Spielleute unter den Mägden, die da pauken.
26 Bless God in the assemblies; praise Yahweh, you who are from the fountain of Israel.
Lobet Gott den HERRN in den Versammlungen für den Brunn Israels.
27 There is first Benjamin, the smallest tribe, then the leaders of Judah and their multitudes, the leaders of Zebulun and the leaders of Naphtali.
Da herrschet unter ihnen der kleine Benjamin, die Fürsten Judas mit ihren Haufen, die Fürsten Sebulons, die Fürsten Naphthalis.
28 Your God, Israel, has decreed your strength; reveal to us your power, God, as you have revealed it in times past.
Dein Gott hat dein Reich aufgerichtet. Dasselbe wollest du, Gott, uns stärken; denn es ist dein Werk.
29 Reveal your power to us from your temple at Jerusalem, where kings bring gifts to you.
Um deines Tempels willen zu Jerusalem werden dir die Könige Geschenke zuführen.
30 Shout in battle against the wild beasts in the reeds, against the peoples, that multitude of bulls and calves. Humiliate them and make them bring you gifts; scatter the peoples who love to wage war.
Schilt das Tier im Rohr, die Rotte der Ochsen unter ihren Kälbern, die da zertreten um Geldes willen. Er zerstreuet die Völker, die da gerne kriegen.
31 Princes will come out of Egypt; Cush will hurry to reach out with her hands to God.
Die Fürsten aus Ägypten werden kommen, Mohrenland wird seine Hände ausstrecken zu Gott.
32 Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth; (Selah) Sing praises to Yahweh.
Ihr Königreiche auf Erden, singet Gott, lobsinget dem HERRN, (Sela)
33 To him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which exist from ancient times; see, he lifts up his voice with power.
dem, der da fährt im Himmel allenthalben von Anbeginn. Siehe, er wird seinem Donner Kraft geben.
34 Ascribe strength to God; his majesty is over Israel, and his strength is in the skies.
Gebt Gott die Macht! Seine HERRLIchkeit ist in Israel und seine Macht in den Wolken.
35 God, you are fearsome in your holy place; the God of Israel—he gives strength and power to his people. Blessed be God.
