< Psalms 60 >

1 For the chief musician; set to Shushan Eduth. A michtam of David, for teaching. When he fought with Aram Naharaim and with Aram Zobah, and Joab returned and killed twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt. God, you have cast us off; you have broken through our defenses; you have been angry; restore us again.
Kumutungamiri wokuimba namaimbirwo e“Ruva reMahapa reSungano.” Rwiyo rweMikitami rwaDhavhidhi. Rwokudzidzisa. Paakarwa neAramu Naharaimu neAramu Zobha, uye panguva yakadzoka Joabhu akaparadza zviuru gumi nezviviri zvavaEdhomu muMupata woMunyu. 3 You have made your people see difficult things; you have made us drink the wine of staggering.
Makaratidza vanhu venyu nguva dzakaoma; makatipa waini inotidzedzeresa.
4 For those who honor you, you have set up a banner to be displayed against those who carry the bow. (Selah)

6 God has spoken in his holiness, “I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem and apportion out the Valley of Succoth.

7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is my helmet; Judah is my scepter.
Gireadhi nderangu, uye Manase ndowangu; Efuremu inguwani yangu yakasimba, Judha itsvimbo yangu.
8 Moab is my washbasin; over Edom I will throw my shoe; I will shout in triumph because of Philistia.”
