Psalms 48
1 A song; a psalm of the sons of Korah. Great is Yahweh and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God on his holy mountain.
૧ગાયન; કોરાના દીકરાઓનું ગીત. આપણા ઈશ્વરના નગરમાં તેમના પવિત્ર પર્વતમાં યહોવાહ મહાન છે અને ઘણા સ્તુત્યમાન છે.
2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
૨મોટા રાજાનું નગર, ઉત્તર બાજુએ, ઊંચાઈમાં ખૂબસૂરત અને આખી પૃથ્વીના આનંદરૂપ સિયોન પર્વત છે.
3 God has made himself known in her palaces as a refuge.
૩તેમના મહેલમાં ઈશ્વરે પોતાને આશ્રયરૂપે જાહેર કર્યા છે.
4 For, see, the kings assembled themselves; they passed by together.
૪કેમ કે રાજાઓ એકત્ર થયા, તેઓ એકત્ર થઈને ચાલ્યા ગયા.
5 They saw it, then they were amazed; they were dismayed, and they hurried away.
૫પછી તેઓએ જોયું, એટલે તેઓ આશ્ચર્ય પામ્યા; ભયથી ગભરાઈ ગયા તેથી તેઓ ઝડપથી પાછા ચાલ્યા ગયા.
6 Trembling took hold of them there, pain as when a woman is in labor.
૬ત્યાં તેમને ભયથી ધ્રૂજારી થઈ તથા પ્રસૂતિવેદના જેવું કષ્ટ થયું.
7 With the east wind you break the ships of Tarshish.
૭તમે પૂર્વના વાયુ વડે તાર્શીશનાં વહાણોને ભાંગી નાખ્યાં.
8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of Yahweh of hosts, in the city of our God; God will establish it forever. (Selah)
૮જેમ આપણે સાંભળ્યું હતું તેમ સૈન્યોના સરદાર યહોવાહના નગરમાં, આપણા ઈશ્વરના નગરમાં, આપણે જોયું છે; ઈશ્વર સદાકાળ તેને સ્થિર કરશે. (સેલાહ)
9 We have thought about your covenant faithfulness, God, in the middle of your temple.
૯હે ઈશ્વર, અમે તમારા ઘરમાં તમારી કૃપા વિષે વિચાર કર્યો.
10 As your name is, God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth; your right hand is full of righteousness.
૧૦હે ઈશ્વર, જેવું તમારું નામ છે, તેવી તમારી સ્તુતિ પણ પૃથ્વીના અંત સુધી છે; તમારો જમણો હાથ ન્યાયીપણાથી ભરેલો છે.
11 Let Mount Zion be glad, let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your righteous decrees.
૧૧તમારા ન્યાયનાં કાર્યોથી સિયોન પર્વત આનંદ પામશે યહૂદિયાની દીકરીઓ હરખાશે.
12 Walk around Mount Zion, go round about her; count her towers,
૧૨સિયોનની આસપાસ પ્રદક્ષિણા કરો; તેના બુરજોની ગણતરી કરો.
13 notice well her walls, and look at her palaces so that you may tell it to the next generation.
૧૩તેનો કોટ ધ્યાનથી જુઓ અને તેના મહેલો પર લક્ષ આપો જેથી તમે આવતી પેઢીને તે વિષે કહી શકો.
14 For this God is our God forever and ever; he will be our guide to death.
૧૪કારણ કે આ ઈશ્વર આપણા સનાતન ઈશ્વર છે; તે મરણ પર્યંત આપણને દોરનાર છે.
