< Psalms 46 >
1 For the chief musician. A psalm of the sons of Korah; set to Alamoth. A song. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Kuom jatend wer. Mar yawuot Kora. Kaluwore gi dwond alamoth. Wer. Nyasaye e kar pondowa kendo tekowa, en e kar konyruok man kodwa seche duto.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains should be shaken into the heart of the seas,
Emomiyo ok wabi luor, kata bed ni piny okethore kendo gode mukore e chuny nam,
3 though its waters roar and rage, and though the mountains tremble with their swelling. (Selah)
Kata obedoni pige manie nam wuo kendo golo buoyo kata obedo ni gode yiengni kendo dhwolore. (Sela)
4 There is a river whose streams make the city of God happy, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
Nitie aora moro ma pige kelo mor e dala Nyasaye, e dala maler kama Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo odakie.
5 God is in the middle of her; she will not be moved; God will help her, and he will do so at the dawn of morning.
Nyasaye odak e iye omiyo ok obi podho; Nyasaye biro konye ka piny oyawore.
6 The nations raged and the kingdoms were shaken; he lifted up his voice, and the earth melted.
Ogendini nigi chandruok, kendo pinjeruodhi podho; otingʼo dwonde mi piny leny nono.
7 Yahweh of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. (Selah)
Jehova Nyasaye Maratego ni kodwa; Nyasach Jakobo e ohingawa. (Sela)
8 Come, behold the deeds of Yahweh, the destruction he has caused on earth.
Biuru uneye tije Jehova Nyasaye, bi uneye kethruok mosekelo e piny.
9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear into pieces; he burns up the shields.
Omiyo lwenje rumo e tungʼ piny koni gi koni; oturo atungʼ kendo ochodo tongʼ matindo tindo, bende owangʼo kuodi gi mach.
10 Be quiet and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted on the earth.
“Bed mos, kendo ngʼe ni an Nyasaye; ogendini biro miya duongʼ; piny duto biro miya duongʼ.”
11 Yahweh of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. (Selah)
Jehova Nyasaye Maratego ni kodwa; Nyasach Jakobo e ohingawa. (Sela)
