Psalms 44
1 For the chief musician. A psalm of the sons of Korah. A maschil. We have heard with our ears, God, our fathers have told us what work you did in their days, in the days of old.
| برای سالار مغنیان. قصیده بنی قورح ای خدا به گوشهای خود شنیده‌ایم وپدران ما، ما را خبر داده‌اند، از کاری که در روزهای ایشان و در ایام سلف کرده‌ای. | ۱ |
2 You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted our people; you afflicted the peoples, but you spread our people out in the land.
| تو به‌دست خود امت‌ها را بیرون کردی، اماایشان را غرس نمودی. قومها را تباه کردی، اما ایشان را منتشر ساختی. | ۲ |
3 For they did not obtain the land for their possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, because you were favorable to them.
| زیرا که به شمشیر خود زمین را تسخیر نکردند و بازوی ایشان ایشان را نجات نداد. بلکه دست راست تو وبازو و نور روی تو. زیرا از ایشان خرسندبودی. | ۳ |
4 God, You are my King; command victory for Jacob.
| ای خدا تو پادشاه من هستی. پس برنجات یعقوب امر فرما. | ۴ |
5 Through you we will push down our adversaries; through your name we will tread them under, those who rise up against us.
| به مدد تو دشمنان خود راخواهیم افکند و به نام تو مخالفان خویش راپایمال خواهیم ساخت. | ۵ |
6 For I will not trust in my bow, neither will my sword save me.
| زیرا بر کمان خودتوکل نخواهم داشت و شمشیرم مرا خلاصی نخواهد داد. | ۶ |
7 But you have saved us from our adversaries, and have put to shame those who hate us.
| بلکه تو ما را از دشمنان ما خلاصی دادی و مبغضان ما را خجل ساختی. | ۷ |
8 In God we have made our boast all the day long, and we will give thanks to your name forever. (Selah)
| تمامی روزبر خدا فخر خواهیم کرد و نام تو را تا به ابد تسبیح خواهیم خواند، سلاه. | ۸ |
9 But now you have thrown us off and brought us dishonor, and you do not go out with our armies.
| لیکن الان تو ما را دورانداخته و رسوا ساخته‌ای و با لشکرهای ما بیرون نمی آیی. | ۹ |
10 You make us turn back from the adversary; and those who hate us take spoil for themselves.
| و ما را از پیش دشمن روگردان ساخته‌ای و خصمان ما برای خویشتن تاراج می‌کنند. | ۱۰ |
11 You have made us like sheep to be slaughtered and have scattered us among the nations.
| ما را مثل گوسفندان برای خوراک تسلیم کرده‌ای و ما را در میان امت‌ها پراکنده ساخته‌ای. | ۱۱ |
12 You sell your people for nothing; you have not increased your wealth by doing so.
| قوم خود را بی‌بها فروختی و ازقیمت ایشان نفع نبردی. | ۱۲ |
13 You make us a rebuke to our neighbors, scoffed and mocked by those around us.
| ما را نزد همسایگان ماعار گردانیدی. اهانت و سخریه نزد آنانی که گرداگرد مایند. | ۱۳ |
14 You make us an insult among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples.
| ما را در میان امت هاضرب‌المثل ساخته‌ای. جنبانیدن سر در میان قومها. | ۱۴ |
15 All the day long my dishonor is before me, and the shame of my face has covered me
| و رسوایی من همه روزه در نظر من است. و خجالت رویم مرا پوشانیده است، | ۱۵ |
16 because of the voice of him who rebukes and insults, because of the enemy and the avenger.
| ازآواز ملامت گو و فحاش، از روی دشمن و انتقام گیرنده. | ۱۶ |
17 All this has come on us; yet we have not forgotten you or dealt falsely with your covenant.
| این همه بر ما واقع شد. اما تو را فراموش نکردیم و در عهد تو خیانت نورزیدیم. | ۱۷ |
18 Our heart has not turned back; our steps have not gone from your way.
| دل مابه عقب برنگردید و پایهای ما از طریق تو انحراف نورزید. | ۱۸ |
19 Yet you have severely broken us in the place of jackals and covered us with the shadow of death.
| هرچند ما را در مکان اژدرها کوبیدی و ما را به سایه موت پوشانیدی. | ۱۹ |
20 If we have forgotten the name of our God or spread out our hands to a strange god,
| نام خدای خود را هرگز فراموش نکردیم و دست خود را به خدای غیر برنیفراشتیم. | ۲۰ |
21 would not God search this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart.
| آیا خدا این راغوررسی نخواهد کرد؟ زیرا او خفایای قلب رامی داند. | ۲۱ |
22 Indeed, for your sake we are being killed all day long; we are considered to be sheep for the slaughter.
| هر آینه به‌خاطر تو تمامی روز کشته می‌شویم و مثل گوسفندان ذبح شمرده می‌شویم. | ۲۲ |
23 Awake, why do you sleep, Lord? Arise, do not throw us off permanently.
| ای خداوند بیدار شو چراخوابیده‌ای؟ برخیز و ما را تا به ابد دور مینداز. | ۲۳ |
24 Why do you hide your face and forget our affliction and our oppression?
| چرا روی خود را پوشانیدی و ذلت و تنگی مارا فراموش کردی؟ | ۲۴ |
25 For we have melted away into the dust; our bodies cling to the earth.
| زیرا که جان ما به خاک خم شده است و شکم ما به زمین چسبیده. | ۲۵ |
26 Rise up for our help and redeem us for the sake of your covenant faithfulness.
| به جهت اعانت ما برخیز و بخاطر رحمانیت خود ما رافدیه ده. | ۲۶ |
