Psalms 26

1 A psalm of David. Judge me, Yahweh, for I have walked with integrity; I have trusted in Yahweh without wavering.

Por David. Julga-me, Yahweh, pois eu caminhei na minha integridade. Confiei também em Yahweh sem vacilar.

2 Examine me, Yahweh, and test me; test the purity of my inner parts and my heart!

Examina-me, Yahweh, e prova-me. Experimente meu coração e minha mente.

3 For your covenant faithfulness is before my eyes, and I walk about in your faithfulness.

Pois sua bondade amorosa está diante dos meus olhos. Eu caminhei em sua verdade.

4 I do not associate with deceitful people, nor do I mingle with dishonest people.

Eu não me sentei com homens enganosos, nem eu entrarei com hipócritas.

5 I hate the assembly of evildoers, and I do not live with the wicked.

Eu odeio a assembléia de malfeitores, e não se sentará com os ímpios.

6 I wash my hands in innocence, and I go around your altar, Yahweh,

Lavarei minhas mãos em inocência, por isso, irei sobre seu altar, Yahweh,

7 to sing a loud song of praise and report all your wonderful deeds.

para que eu possa fazer ouvir a voz da ação de graças e contar todos os seus feitos maravilhosos.

8 Yahweh, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory lives!

Yahweh, eu amo a habitação de sua casa, o lugar onde habita sua glória.

9 Do not sweep me away with sinners, or my life with people who are bloodthirsty,

Não reúna minha alma com pecadores, nem minha vida com homens sedentos de sangue

10 in whose hands there is a plot, and whose right hand is full of bribes.

em cujas mãos está a perversidade; sua mão direita está cheia de subornos.

11 But as for me, I will walk in integrity; redeem me and have mercy on me.

Mas, quanto a mim, caminharei na minha integridade. Redima-me, e tenha misericórdia de mim.

12 My foot stands on level ground; in the assemblies will I bless Yahweh!

Meu pé está em um lugar uniforme. Nas congregações, abençoarei Javé.
