Psalms 18
1 For the chief musician. A psalm of David, the servant of Yahweh, when he sang to Yahweh the words of this song on the day that Yahweh rescued him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He sang: I love you, Yahweh, my strength.
၁အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ခွန်အားဗလ တည်းဟူသော ကိုယ်တော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်ချစ်ပါ၏။
2 Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, the one who brings me to safety; he is my God, my rock; I take refuge in him. He is my shield, the horn of my salvation, and my stronghold.
၂ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါ၏ကျောက်၊ ငါ၏မြို့ရိုး၊ ငါ့ကိုကယ်လွှတ်သောသခင်၊ ငါ၏ဘုရား၊ ငါကိုးစားသော အစွမ်းသတ္တိ၊ ငါ၏ အကွယ်အကာ၊ ငါ့ကိုကယ်တင်သော ဦးချို၊ ငါ၏ရဲတိုက်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။
3 I will call on Yahweh who is worthy to be praised, and I will be saved from my enemies.
၃ချီးမွမ်းအပ်သော ထာဝရဘုရားကို ငါတောင်း လျှောက်၍ ရန်သူတို့ လက်မှကယ်တင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်၏။
4 The cords of death surrounded me, and the rushing waters of worthlessness overwhelmed me.
၄သေခြင်းကြိုးတို့သည် ငါ့ကိုဝိုင်းမိ၍၊ ဖျက်ဆီး တတ်သော ရေစီးခြင်းကြောင့် ငါကြောက်လန့်ရ၏။
၅မရဏာနိုင်ငံ၏ ကြိုးတို့သည်ဝိုင်း၍၊ သေမင်း၏ ကျော့ကွင်းသည် ငါ့ကိုကျော့မိလျက် ရှိ၏။ (Sheol h7585)
6 In my distress I called to Yahweh; I called for help to my God. He heard my voice from his temple; my call for help went into his presence; it went into his ears.
၆ထိုသို့ငါသည် ဆင်းရဲငြိုငြင်သောအခါ ထာဝရ ဘုရားကိုခေါ်၍၊ ငါ၏ဘုရားသခင်ကို အော်ဟစ်လေ၏။ ခေါ်သောအသံကို ဗိမာန်တော်ထဲ မှာကြားတော်မူ၍၊ အော်ဟစ်သောအသံသည် နားတော်ထဲသို့ ဝင်လေ၏။
7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of the mountains also trembled and were shaken because God was angry.
၇ထိုအခါ အမျက်တော်ထွက်သောအားဖြင့် မြေကြီးတုန်လှုပ်၍၊ တောင်အမြစ်တို့သည် တရွေ့ရွေ့ လှုပ်ရှားကြ၏။
8 Smoke went up from out of his nostrils, and blazing fire came out of his mouth. Coals were ignited by it.
၈နှာခေါင်းတော်ထဲက မီးခိုးထွက်၍၊ နှုတ်တော် ထဲက မီးလောင်သောအားဖြင့်၊ မီးခဲတောက်လေ၏။
9 He opened the heavens and came down, and thick darkness was under his feet.
၉မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ကိုညွှတ်သဖြင့် ဆင်းသက် တော်မူ၍၊ ခြေဘဝါးတော်အောက်၌ မှောင်မိုက်ဖြစ်လေ ၏။
10 He rode on a cherub and flew; he glided on the wings of the wind.
၁၀ခေရုဗိမ်ကိုစီးလျက် ပျံတော်မူ၏။ လေ၏ အတောင်တို့အပေါ် မှာလျင်စွာ ပျံတော်မူ၏။
11 He made darkness a tent around him, heavy rainclouds in the skies.
၁၁မှောင်မိုက်ထဲမှာ ပုန်းကွယ်တော်မူ၍၊ တခဲနက် သောရေနှင့်ထူထပ်သော မိုဃ်းတိမ်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို ကာရံလျက်ရှိကြ၏။
12 Hailstones and coals of fire fell from the lightning before him.
၁၂ရှေ့တော်၌ ရောင်ခြည်ကြောင့်တိမ်ထပ်တို့သည် မိုဃ်းသီးနှင့် မီးခဲပါလျက် လွင့်ကြ၏။
13 Yahweh thundered in the heavens! The voice of the Most High shouted.
၁၃ထာဝရဘုရားသည်လည်း၊ ကောင်းကင်ပေါ်မှာ မိုဃ်းချုန်း၍၊ အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဘုရားသည် အသံတော်ကို လွှင့်တော်မူ၏။
14 He shot his arrows and scattered his enemies; many lightning bolts dispersed them.
၁၄လေးမြှားတော်တို့ကိုပစ်၍ လျှပ်စစ်ပြက်စေ သဖြင့်၊ ရန်သူတို့ကို အရပ်ရပ်သို့ခွဲ၍ ရှုံးစေတော်မူ၏။
15 Then the water channels appeared; the foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, Yahweh, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.
၁၅ထိုအခါ အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အပြစ်တင်၍ နှာခေါင်းတော်ထဲက အသက်ရှုတော်မူ သောအားဖြင့်၊ သမုဒ္ဒရာအောက်ပြင်နှင့် လောကတိုက် မြစ်တို့သည်ပွင့်လစ် ထင်ပေါ်လျက်ရှိကြ၏။
16 He reached down from above; he took hold of me! He pulled me out of the surging water.
၁၆ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အထက်အရပ်က လက် တော်ကို ဆန့်၍၊ တခဲနက်သောရေထဲက ငါ့ကို ဆယ်ယူ တော်မူ၏။
17 He rescued me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me.
၁၇ငါ့ကိုမုန်းသောသူတည်းဟူသော ငါပြိုင်၍မနိုင် နိုင်အောင် ခွန်အားကြီးသော ရန်သူတို့လက်မှ ငါ့ကို ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူ၏။
18 They came against me on the day of my distress but Yahweh was my support!
၁၈ဘေးဥပဒ်ရောက်သောကာလ၌ သူတို့သည် ဆီးတားသော်လည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ငါမှီခိုရာဖြစ်၍၊
19 He set me free in a wide open place; he saved me because he was pleased with me.
၁၉ငါ့ကိုကျယ်ဝန်းရာအရပ်သို့ ပို့ဆောင်တော်မူ၏။ ငါ့ကိုနှစ်သက်သောကြောင့် ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူ၏။
20 Yahweh has rewarded me because of my righteousness; he has restored me because my hands were clean.
၂၀ငါဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းရှိသည်အလျောက်၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် အကျိုးကို ပေး၍၊ ငါ့လက်စင်ကြယ်ခြင်း၏ အကျိုးကို စီရင်တော်မူ၏။
21 For I have kept the ways of Yahweh and have not wickedly turned away from my God.
၂၁အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါသည်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ လမ်းတော်သို့ အစဉ်လိုက်၏။ ငါ၏ဘုရားသခင့်ထံမှ ပြစ်မှား၏မသွား။
22 For all his righteous decrees have been before me; as for his statutes, I have not turned away from them.
၂၂စီရင်တော်မူချက်ရှိသမျှကို ငါသည် မျက်မှောက် ပြု၏။ အထုံးအဖွဲ့တော်တို့ကို မပယ်၊
23 I have also been innocent before him, and I have kept myself from sin.
၂၃ရှေ့တော်မှာဖြောင့်မတ်၍၊ ကိုယ်ဒုစရိုက်ကို ကြဉ် ရှောင်၏။
24 Therefore Yahweh has restored me because of my righteousness, because my hands were clean before his eyes.
၂၄ထိုကြောင့် ရှေ့တော်မှာထင်ရှားသော ငါ၏ ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း၊ လက်စင်ကြယ်ခြင်းရှိသည်နှင့် အလျောက် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါ၌ အကျိုးကို ပေးတော်မူပြီ။
25 To anyone who is faithful, you show yourself to be faithful; to a man who is blameless, you show yourself to be blameless.
၂၅သနားတတ်သောသူအား ကိုယ်တော်သည် သနားခြင်းသဘောကို၎င်း၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူအား ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း သဘောကို၎င်း၊
26 To anyone who is pure, you show yourself pure; but you are clever toward anyone who is twisted.
၂၆သန့်ရှင်းသောသူအား သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းသဘော ကို၎င်း၊ ဆန့်ကျင်သော သူအားဆန့်ကျင်သောသဘော ကို၎င်း ပြတော်မူ၏။
27 For you save afflicted people, but you bring down those with proud, uplifted eyes!
၂၇နှိမ့်ချလျက်ရှိသောသူတို့ကို ကိုယ်တော်သည် ကယ်တင်၍၊ ထောင်လွှားသော မျက်နှာကိုမူကား ရှုတ်ချ တော်မူ၏။
28 For you give light to my lamp; Yahweh my God lights up my darkness.
၂၈အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်၏ မီးခွက်ကို ထွန်း၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ဘုရားသခင်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်၏မှောင်မိုက်ကို လင်းစေတော်မူ၏။
29 For by you I can run over a barricade; by my God I can leap over a wall.
၂၉အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကိုအမှီပြု၍၊ တပ်ကို ဖျက်ပါပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ဘုရားသခင်ကို အမှီပြုလျက် မြို့ရိုးကို ကျော်၍ ဝင်ပါပြီ။
30 As for God—his way is perfect! The word of Yahweh is pure! He is a shield to everyone who takes refuge in him.
၃၀ဘုရားသခင် စီရင်တော်မူသော အမှုသည် စုံလင်၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏သစ္စာတော်သည် အစစ်ခံ၍ တည်၏။ ခိုလှုံသော သူအပေါင်းတို့၏ အကွယ်အကာ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။
31 For who is God except Yahweh? Who is a rock except our God?
၃၁ထာဝရဘုရားမှတပါး အဘယ်ဘုရားသခင် ရှိသနည်း။ ငါတို့ ဘုရားသခင်မှတပါး အဘယ်မည်သော ကျောက်ရှိသနည်း။
32 It is God who puts strength on me like a belt, who places the blameless person on his path.
၃၂ထိုဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါ့ကိုခွန်အား ခါးပန်းနှင့် စည်း၍ ငါသွားရာ လမ်းကို ဖြောင့်စေတော်မူ၏။
33 He makes my feet swift like a deer and places me on the heights!
၃၃ငါ့ခြေကို သမင်ခြေကဲ့သို့ လျင်မြန်စေ၍၊ ငါ၏ မြင့်ရာအရပ်ပေါ်မှာ ငါ့ကိုတင်ထားတော်မူ၏။
34 He trains my hands for war and my arms to bend a bow of bronze.
၃၄ငါ့လက်ကို စစ်မှု၌လေ့ကျက်စေခြင်းငှါ သွန်သင် တော်မူ၍၊ ကြေးဝါးလေးကို ငါ့လက်ရုံးနှင့် ငါတင်နိုင်၏။
35 You have given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand has supported me, and your favor has made me great.
၃၅ကိုယ်တော်သည် ကယ်တင်တော်မူခြင်း ဒိုင်း လွှားကို အပ်၍၊ လက်ျာလက်တော်အားဖြင့် မစတော် မူ၏။ သည်းခံတော်မူခြင်းအားဖြင့် အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ပါ။
36 You have made a wide place for my feet beneath me so that my feet have not slipped.
၃၆အကျွန်ုပ်သွားသောလမ်းကို ရှင်းလင်း၍ ခြေ မချော်စေခြင်းငှါ ပြုတော်မူသောအားဖြင့်၊
37 I pursued my enemies and caught them; I did not turn back until they were destroyed.
၃၇အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ရန်သူတို့ကို လိုက်၍မှီသဖြင့်၊ သူတို့ကို မပယ်ရှင်းမှီတိုင်အောင် မပြန်ပါ။
38 I smashed them so that they were unable to rise; they have fallen under my feet.
၃၈သူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ခြေအောက်မှာ လဲလျက် ရှိ၍ မထနိုင်အောင် အကျွန်ုပ်သည် နှိပ်နင်းပါ၏။
39 For you put strength on me like a belt for battle; you put under me those who rise up against me.
၃၉အကြောင်းမူကား၊ စစ်တိုက်ခြင်းငှါ ကိုယ် တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ခွန်အားခါးပန်းနှင့်စည်း၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တဘက်၌ ထသောသူတို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ်အောက်မှာ လှဲတော်မူ၏။
40 You gave me the back of my enemies' necks; I annihilated those who hated me.
၄၀အကျွန်ုပ်ကို မုန်းသောရန်သူတို့၏ လည်ပင်းကို အကျွန်ုပ်၌ အပ်၍၊ ဖျက်ဆီးရသောအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော် မူ၏။
41 They called for help, but no one saved them; they called out to Yahweh, but he did not answer them.
၄၁သူတို့သည် အော်ဟစ်ကြသောအခါ၊ ကယ်တင် သောသူမရှိ။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို အော်ဟစ်သော်လည်း ထူးတော်မမူ။
42 I beat them into fine pieces like dust before the wind; I threw them out like mud in the streets.
၄၂ထိုအခါအကျွန်ုပ်သည် သူတို့ကို လေတိုက်သော မြေမှုန့်ကိုကဲ့သို့၊ ညက်ညက်ချေပြီးမှ၊ လမ်း၌အမှိုက်ကို ကဲ့သို့ သွန်ပစ်လေ၏။
43 You rescued me from the disputes of people. You have made me the head over nations. People that I have not known serve me.
၄၃လူစုတို့သည် ဆိုင်ပြိုင်တိုက်လှန်ခြင်းမှ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ကယ်လွှတ်၍၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့၏ အကဲအမှူးအရာ ၌ ခန့်ထားတော်မူသောအားဖြင့်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်မသိဘူးသော လူစုသည်အကျွန်ုပ်ထံ၌ ကျွန်ခံပါ၏။
44 As soon as they heard of me, they obeyed me; foreigners were forced to bow to me.
၄၄အကျွန်ုပ်စကားသံကို ကြားသည်ခဏခြင်းတွင် နားထောင်ပါ၏။ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို တောင်းပန်ကြပါ၏။
45 The foreigners came trembling out of their strongholds.
၄၅ညှိုးနွမ်းသည်ဖြစ်၍ ခိုလှုံရာအရပ်ထဲက တုန် လှုပ်လျက် ထွက်ကြပါ၏။
46 Yahweh lives; may my rock be praised. May the God of my salvation be exalted.
၄၆ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါ၏ကျောက်၌ မင်္ဂလာရှိပါစေသတည်း။ ငါ့ကို ကယ်တင်တော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်၌ ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်း ရှိပါစေသတည်း။
47 He is the God who executes vengeance for me, who subdues the nations under me.
၄၇ငါ့ဘက်၌ တရားသဖြင့်စီရင်၍၊ လူစုတို့ကို ငါ့အောက်မှာ နှိမ့်ချသောသူကား ဘုရားသခင်ပေတည်း။
48 I am set free from my enemies! Indeed, you lifted me above the ones who rose against me! You rescued me from violent men.
၄၈ရန်သူတို့လက်မှ ငါ့ကို ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်တဘက်၌ ထသောသူတို့အပေါ်သို့ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုမြှောက်တင်၍၊ လုယူဖျက်ဆီးတတ် သောသူ၏လက်မှ ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူ၏။
49 Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations; I will sing praises to your name!
၄၉ထိုကြောင့် အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့တွင် ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်း၍၊ နာမတော်ကို ထောမနာသီချင်း ဆိုပါမည်။
50 God gives great victory to his king, and he shows his covenant loyalty to his anointed one, to David and to his descendants forever.
၅၀ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိခန့်ထားသော မင်းကြီးကို အထူးသဖြင့် ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူ၏။ ဘိသိက်တော်ကို ခံရသော ဒါဝိဒ်မှမစ၍ အမျိုးအနွယ်အား ကာလအစဉ် အဆက် ကရုဏာကျေးဇူးကို ပြုတော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ကျွန်ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ရှောလုမင်းမှစ၍ ရန်သူအပေါင်း တို့လက်မှ ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူးကို ခံရသောအခါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့တော်၌မြွက်ဆိုသောသီချင်းစကားဟူမူကား။
