Psalms 148
1 Praise Yahweh. Praise Yahweh, you in the heavens; praise him, you in the heights.
| خداوند را سپاس باد! خداوند را از عرش برین ستایش کنید، ای کسانی که در آسمانها ساکن هستید. |
2 Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts.
| ای همهٔ فرشتگان، خداوند را ستایش کنید. ای همهٔ لشکرهای آسمانی، او را ستایش کنید. |
3 Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.
| ای آفتاب و ماه، خداوند را ستایش کنید. ای همهٔ ستارگان درخشان، او را ستایش کنید. |
4 Praise him, highest heaven and you waters that are above the sky.
| ای آسمانها و ای بخارهایی که فوق ابرهایید، او را ستایش کنید. |
5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for he gave the command, and they were created.
| همگی خداوند را ستایش کنید، زیرا به فرمان او آفریده شدید. |
6 He has also established them forever and ever; he issued a decree that will never change.
| او شما را تا ابد بر جایتان ثابت نموده است و آنچه او ثابت نموده است هرگز تغییر نخواهد کرد. |
7 Praise him from the earth, you sea monsters and all ocean depths,
| ای همهٔ نهنگان و موجوداتی که در اعماق دریا هستید، خداوند را ستایش کنید. |
8 fire and hail, snow and clouds, stormy wind fulfilling his word.
| ای آتش و تگرگ و مه و تندباد که مطیع فرمان خداوند هستید، او را ستایش کنید. |
9 Praise him, mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
| ای کوهها، ای تپه‌ها، ای درختان میوه‌دار، ای سروهای آزاد، خداوند را ستایش کنید. |
10 animals wild and tame, creatures that crawl and birds.
| ای حیوانات وحشی و اهلی، ای پرندگان و خزندگان، خداوند را ستایش کنید. |
11 Praise Yahweh, kings of the earth and all nations, princes and all who govern on the earth,
| ای پادشاهان و قومهای جهان، ای رهبران و بزرگان دنیا، |
12 both young men and young women, elderly and children.
| ای پسران و دختران، ای پیران و جوانان، خداوند را ستایش کنید. |
13 Let them all praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is exalted and his glory extends over the earth and the heavens.
| همهٔ شما نام خداوند را ستایش کنید، زیرا تنها اوست خدای متعال؛ شکوه و جلال او برتر از زمین و آسمان است. |
14 He has lifted up the horn of his people for praise from all his faithful ones, the Israelites, the people near to him. Praise Yahweh.
| او بنی‌اسرائیل را که قوم برگزیده‌اش هستند توانایی می‌بخشد تا او را ستایش کنند. خداوند را سپاس باد! |
