Psalms 13

1 For the chief musician. A psalm of David. How long, Yahweh, will you keep forgetting about me? How long will you hide your face from me?

സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, എത്രത്തോളം നീ എന്നെ മറന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും? നീ എത്രത്തോളം നിന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഞാൻ കാണാതവണ്ണം മറെക്കും?

2 How long must I worry and have grief in my heart all day? How long will my enemy triumph over me?

എത്രത്തോളം ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ വിചാരംപിടിച്ചു എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ദിവസംപ്രതി ദുഃഖം അനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടിവരും? എത്രത്തോളം എന്റെ ശത്രു എന്റെമേൽ ഉയർന്നിരിക്കും?

3 Look at me and answer me, Yahweh my God! Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death.

എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; എനിക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളേണമേ; ഞാൻ മരണനിദ്ര പ്രാപിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണുകളെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

4 Do not let my enemy say, “I have defeated him,” so that my enemy may not say, “I have prevailed over my adversary”; otherwise, my enemies will rejoice when I am brought down.

ഞാൻ അവനെ തോല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു എന്റെ ശത്രു പറയരുതേ; ഞാൻ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകുന്നതിനാൽ എന്റെ വൈരികൾ ഉല്ലസിക്കയുമരുതേ.

5 But I have trusted in your covenant faithfulness; my heart rejoices in your salvation.

ഞാനോ നിന്റെ കരുണയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിന്റെ രക്ഷയിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കും.

6 I will sing to Yahweh because he has treated me very generously.

യഹോവ എനിക്കു നന്മ ചെയ്തിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവന്നു പാട്ടു പാടും.
