Psalms 113

1 Praise Yahweh. Praise him, you servants of Yahweh; praise the name of Yahweh.

ALLELUIA. Lodate, servitori del Signore, Lodate il Nome del Signore.

2 Blessed be the name of Yahweh, both now and forevermore.

Sia benedetto il nome del Signore, Da ora in eterno.

3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, Yahweh's name should be praised.

Il nome del Signore è lodato Dal sol levante, infino al ponente.

4 Yahweh is exalted above all nations, and his glory reaches above the skies.

Il Signore [è] eccelso sopra tutte le nazioni, La sua gloria [è] sopra i cieli.

5 Who is like Yahweh our God, who has his seat on high,

Chi [è] simile al Signore Iddio nostro, Il quale abita ne' luoghi altissimi?

6 who looks down at the sky and at the earth?

Che riguarda abbasso In cielo ed in terra;

7 He raises up the poor out of the dirt and lifts up the needy from the ash heap,

Che rileva il misero dalla polvere, [Ed] innalza il povero dallo sterco;

8 so that he may seat him with princes, with the princes of his people.

Per farlo sedere co' principi, Co' principi del suo popolo;

9 He gives a home to the barren woman of the house, he makes her a joyful mother of children. Praise Yahweh!

Che fa abitare in famiglia la donna sterile, [Facendola] diventar lieta madre di figliuoli? Alleluia.
