< Psalms 11 >
1 For the chief musician. A psalm of David. I take refuge in Yahweh; how will you say to me, “Flee like a bird to the mountain”?
Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah, David ih Saam laa. Kai loe Angraeng khaeah ni kam ha: tipongah, Tavaa baktiah nangmah ih mae ah azawk lai ah, tiah ka muithla hanah na naa loe?
2 For see! The wicked prepare their bows. They make ready their arrows on the strings to shoot in the darkness at the upright in heart.
Khenah, kasae kami loe kalii to takoih moe, katoeng kaminawk palung thuem ah kah hanah, anghawk o moe, kalii qui nuiah palaa to koeng o coek boeh.
3 For if the foundations are ruined, what can the righteous do?
Nihcae angdoethaih ahmuen to paro pae ving nahaeloe, katoeng kami loe timaw sah thai tih boeh?
4 Yahweh is in his holy temple; his eyes watch, his eyes examine the children of mankind.
Angraeng loe kaciim tempul thungah oh moe, Angraeng ih angraeng tangkhang loe van ah oh: kami capanawk to mik hoiah a khet moe, a mikhin hoiah nihcae to tanoek.
5 Yahweh examines both the righteous and the wicked, but he hates those who love to do violence.
Angraeng mah katoeng kami to tanoek: toe anih ih muithla mah loe kasae hoi poeksae kaminawk to hnukma.
6 He rains burning coals and brimstone upon the wicked; a scorching wind will be their portion from his cup!
Anih mah kasae kaminawk nuiah hmai kamngaeh, kaat hmai hoi angbaeh thlung kamngaeh hoi kabae parai takhi kasae to krahsak tih, hae loe nihcae naek han koi taham ah om tih.
7 For Yahweh is righteous, and he loves righteousness; the upright will see his face.
Angraeng loe toeng pongah, toenghaih to koeh; katoeng kaminawk loe anih ih mikhmai to hnu o tih.
