Psalms 109
1 For the chief musician. A psalm of David. God whom I praise, do not be silent,
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਰਹਿ,
2 For the wicked and deceitful attack me; they speak lies against me.
੨ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਭੈੜਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਅਤੇ ਛਲ ਵਾਲਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਖੋਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਓਹ ਝੂਠੀ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬੋਲੇ।
3 They surround me and say hateful things, and they attack me without cause.
੩ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੈਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਧਗਾਣੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜੇ।
4 In return for my love they accuse me, but I pray for them.
੪ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਓਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
5 They repay me evil for good, and they hate my love.
੫ਭਲਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਵੈਰ ਓਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
6 Appoint a wicked man over such an enemy as these people; appoint an accuser to stand at his right hand.
੬ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾ, ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਹੇ!
7 When he is judged, may he be found guilty; may his prayer be considered sinful.
੭ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਪਾਪ ਗਿਣੀ ਜਾਵੇ!
8 May his days be few; may another take his office.
੮ਉਹ ਦੇ ਜਿਉਣ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਥੋੜੇ ਹੋਣ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਲਵੇ!
9 May his children be fatherless, and may his wife be a widow.
੯ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਯਤੀਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਔਰਤ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ!
10 May his children wander about and beg, asking for handouts as they leave their ruined home.
੧੦ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬਾਲ ਰੁਲਦੇ ਫਿਰਨ ਤੇ ਭੀਖ ਮੰਗਣ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਜੜੇ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਟੁੱਕਰ ਲੱਭਣ!
11 May the creditor take all he owns; may strangers plunder what he earns.
੧੧ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਫਾਹ ਲਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਓਪਰੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਗ ਲੈਣ!
12 May no one extend any kindness to him; may no one have pity on his fatherless children.
੧੨ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੇ, ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਯਤੀਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਕਰੇ!
13 May his children be cut off; may their name be blotted out in the next generation.
੧੩ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਮੁਕਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ, ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ!
14 May his ancestors' sins be mentioned to Yahweh; and may the sin of his mother not be forgotten.
੧੪ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰਹੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਪ ਨਾ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ!
15 May their guilt always be before Yahweh; may Yahweh cut off their memory from the earth.
੧੫ਓਹ ਸਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪਏ ਰਹਿਣ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਧਰਤੀਓਂ ਮੁਕਾ ਦੇਵੇ,
16 May Yahweh do this because this man never bothered to show any covenant faithfulness, but instead harassed the oppressed, the needy, and the disheartened to death.
੧੬ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਾ ਰੱਖੀ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਮਸਕੀਨ, ਕੰਗਾਲ ਤੇ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਣ ਲਈ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪਿਆ,
17 He loved cursing; may it come back upon him. He hated blessing; may no blessing come to him.
੧੭ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖੀ, ਸੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਆ ਪਈ, ਅਤੇ ਬਰਕਤ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਸੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹੀ,
18 He clothed himself with cursing as his garment, and his curse came into his inner being like water, like oil into his bones.
੧੮ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਲ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸਮਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
19 May his curses be to him like the clothes he wears to cover himself, like the belt he always wears.
੧੯ਉਹ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਲੀੜੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕੇ, ਤੇ ਉਸ ਪੇਟੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਮਰ ਕੱਸਦਾ ਰਹੇ!
20 May this be the reward of my accusers from Yahweh, of those who say evil things about me.
੨੦ਏਹੋ ਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੋਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੁਰਾ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ!
21 Yahweh my Lord, deal kindly with me for your name's sake. Because your covenant faithfulness is good, save me.
੨੧ਪਰ ਤੂੰ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ, ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਤਾਂ ਭਲੀ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ ਲੈ,
22 For I am oppressed and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
੨੨ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਮਸਕੀਨ ਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਫੱਟੜ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
23 I am fading away like the shadow of the evening; I am shaken off like a locust.
੨੩ਮੈਂ ਢਲਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਮੈਂ ਸਲਾ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਝਾੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ,
24 My knees are weak from fasting; I am turning to skin and bones.
੨੪ਵਰਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਡੇ ਭਿੜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਸ ਤੇਲ ਖੁਣੋਂ ਲਿੱਸਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
25 I am disdained by my accusers; when they see me, they shake their heads.
੨੫ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਤਾਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਥਾਂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜਦ ਓਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੇ, ਓਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਹਿਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
26 Help me, Yahweh my God; save me by your covenant faithfulness.
੨੬ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰ! ਆਪਣੀ ਦਯਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ,
27 May they know that this is your doing, that you, Yahweh, have done this.
੨੭ਕਿ ਓਹ ਜਾਣਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਹੱਥ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
28 Though they curse me, please bless me; when they attack, may they be put to shame, but may your servant rejoice.
੨੮ਓਹ ਫਿਟਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਬਰਕਤ ਦੇ! ਜਦ ਓਹ ਉੱਠਣ ਤਾਂ ਓਹ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਣ, ਪਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੇ!
29 May my adversaries be clothed with shame; may they wear their shame like a robe.
੨੯ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਨਿਰਾਦਰੀ ਪਹਿਨਣ, ਓਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਜ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਦਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਕੱਜਣ!
30 With my mouth I give great thanks to Yahweh; I will praise him in the midst of a crowd.
੩੦ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
31 For he will stand at the right hand of the one who is needy, to save him from those who judge him.
੩੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਘਾਤਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵੇ।
