< Proverbs 28 >

1 The wicked people run away when no one chases them, but righteous people are as bold as a young lion.
Mugu yakan gudu ko babu wanda yake korarsa, amma adalai suna da ƙarfin hali kamar zaki.
2 Because of the transgression of a land, it has many rulers, but with a man of understanding and knowledge, it will last a long time.
Sa’ad da ƙasa ta yi tayarwa, takan kasance da masu mulki da yawa, amma mai fahimi da sani kan mai da zaman lafiya.
3 A poor person who oppresses other poor people is like a beating rain that leaves no food.
Mai mulkin da ya danne talakawa yana kama da ruwan saman da ya lalatar da hatsi.
4 Those who forsake the law praise wicked people, but those who keep the law fight against them.
Duk waɗanda ba sa bin doka yabon mugaye suke yi, amma waɗanda suke yin biyayya da doka suna gāba da mugaye ke nan.
5 Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek Yahweh understand everything.
Mugaye ba su san gaskiya ba, amma waɗanda suke neman Ubangiji sun santa sosai.
6 It is better for a poor person who walks in his integrity, than for a rich person who is crooked in his ways.
Gara matalauci wanda yake tafiya babu abin zargi da mai arziki wanda hanyoyinsa mugaye ne.
7 He who keeps the law is a son who has understanding, but one who is a companion of gluttons shames his father.
Duk wanda ya kiyaye doka ɗa ne mai la’akari, amma wanda yake abokantaka da masu zari yakan jawo wa mahaifinsa kunya.
8 The one who makes his fortune by charging too much interest gathers his wealth for another who will have pity on poor people.
Duk wanda ya tara dukiyarsa ta wurin ba da bashi da ruwan da ya wuce misali yana tara wa wani ne wanda zai yi wa talakawa alheri.
9 If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is detestable.
In wani ya yi kunnuwa ƙashi ga doka ko addu’arsa ma abar ƙyama ce.
10 Whoever misleads the upright into an evil way will fall into his own pit, but the blameless will have a good inheritance.
Duk wanda ya jagorance masu aikata gaskiya a hanyar mugunta zai fāɗa cikin tarkonsa amma marasa abin zargi za su sami gādo mai kyau.
11 The rich person may be wise in his own eyes, but a poor person who has understanding will find him out.
Mai arziki zai yi zato shi mai hikima ne a ganinsa, amma matalauci mai basira ya fi shi sanin abin da yake daidai.
12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; but when the wicked arise, people are sought out.
Sa’ad da adalai suka yi nasara, kowa yakan yi biki; amma sa’ad da mugu ya samu shugabanci, mutane sukan yi ta ɓuya.
13 The one who hides his sins will not prosper, but the one who confesses them and forsakes them will be shown mercy.
Duk wanda ya ɓoye zunubansa ba ya taɓa cin nasara, amma duk wanda ya furta ya kuma ƙi su yakan sami jinƙai.
14 The one who always lives with reverence is blessed, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into trouble.
Mai albarka ne mutumin da kullum yake jin tsoron Allah, amma duk wanda ya taurare zuciyarsa yakan shiga wahala.
15 Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over poor people.
Kamar rurin zaki ko sanɗar beyar haka mugun mutum mai mulki a kan mutane marasa ƙarfi yake.
16 The ruler who lacks understanding is a cruel oppressor, but the one who hates dishonesty will prolong his days.
Mugu mai mulki ba shi da azanci, amma duk wanda yake ƙin ƙazamar riba yakan yi tsawon rai.
17 If a man is guilty because he has shed someone's blood, he will be a fugitive until death and no one will help him.
Mutumin da laifin kisa ya yi ta damunsa zai zama mai gudu don tsoro har mutuwa; kada wani ya taimake shi.
18 Whoever walks with integrity will be kept safe, but the one whose way is crooked will suddenly fall.
Duk wanda ya yi tafiya marar abin zargi zai zauna lafiya, amma duk wanda hanyoyinsa mugaye ne zai fāɗi nan da nan.
19 The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty.
Duk wanda ya nome gonarsa zai sami amfani a yalwace, amma duk wanda yake zaman banza zai zama matalauci a koyaushe.
20 A faithful man will have great blessings, but the one who gets rich quickly will not go unpunished.
Mutum mai aminci zai cika da albarka, amma duk mai son yin arziki dare ɗaya zai sha hukunci.
21 It is not good to show partiality, but for a piece of bread a man will do wrong.
Nuna sonkai ba shi da kyau, duk da haka mutum zai aikata abin da ba daidai ba saboda’yar ƙaramar rashawa.
22 A stingy man hurries after riches, but he does not know that poverty will come upon him.
Mai rowa yana alla-alla ya yi arziki bai san cewa talauci ne ke jiransa ba.
23 Whoever disciplines someone, afterward will find more favor from him than from the one who flatters him with his tongue.
Duk wanda ya tsawata wa wani mutum zai sami yabo a ƙarshe fiye da wanda yake mai daɗin baki.
24 Whoever robs his father and his mother and says, “That is no sin,” he is the companion of the one who destroys.
Duk wanda ya yi wa mahaifin ko mahaifiyarsa sata ya kuma ce, “Ai, ba laifi ba ne” abokin mai hallakarwa ne shi.
25 A greedy man stirs up conflict, but the one who trusts in Yahweh will prosper.
Mai haɗama yakan jawo tā-da-na-zaune-tsaye, amma duk wanda ya dogara ga Ubangiji zai yi nasara.
26 One who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks in wisdom will keep away from danger.
Duk mai dogara ga kansa wawa ne, amma duk wanda yake tafiya da hikima zai zauna lafiya.
27 The one who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but whoever closes his eyes to them will receive many curses.
Duk wanda yake bayarwa ga matalauta ba zai rasa kome ba, amma duk wanda bai kula da su ba yana samu la’ana masu yawa.
28 When the wicked arise, people hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous increase.
Sa’ad da mugu ya samu shugabanci, mutane sukan yi ta ɓuya; amma sa’ad da mugu ya hallaka, adali kan ci gaba cikin arziki da lafiya.
