< Proverbs 12 >
1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but the one who hates correction is stupid.
Duk mai ƙaunar horo yana ƙaunar sani, amma duk mai ƙin gyara wawa ne.
2 Yahweh gives favor to a good man, but he condemns a man who makes evil plans.
Mutumin kirki kan sami tagomashi daga Ubangiji, amma Ubangiji yakan hukunta mai son yin wayo.
3 A person cannot be established by wickedness, but righteous people cannot be uprooted.
Ba yadda mutum zai kahu ta wurin aikata mugunta, amma ba za a tumɓuke adali ba.
4 A worthy wife is her husband's crown, but she who brings shame is like a disease that rots his bones.
Mace mai halin kirki rawanin mijinta ne, amma mace marar kunya tana kama da ciwo a ƙasusuwansa.
5 The plans of the righteous are just, but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.
Shirye-shiryen masu adalci daidai ne, amma shawarar mugaye ruɗu ne.
6 The words of wicked people are an ambush waiting for a chance to kill, but the words of the upright keep them safe.
Kalmomin mugu sukan kwanta suna jira su yi kisankai, amma jawabin masu aikata gaskiya kan kuɓutar da su.
7 Wicked people are overthrown and they are gone, but the house of the righteous person will stand.
Akan tumɓuke mugaye ba a ƙara ganinsu, amma gidan masu adalci kan tsaya daram.
8 A person is praised by how much wisdom he has, but the one who makes perverse choices is despised.
Akan yabi mutum bisa ga hikimarsa, amma mutane marasa azanci akan rena su.
9 Better to have an unimportant position—only being a servant— than to brag about your importance but have no food.
Gara ka zama kai ba kome ba ne amma kana da bawa da ka mai da kanka kai wani ne alhali kuwa ba ka da abinci.
10 The righteous person cares about the needs of his animal, but even the compassion of the wicked is cruel.
Mai adalci kan kula da bukatun dabbobinsa, amma halaye mafi kyau na mugaye su ne ƙeta.
11 The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases after worthless projects has no sense.
Duk wanda ya nome gonarsa zai sami abinci a yalwace, amma shi da yake naushin iska marar azanci ne.
12 The wicked person desires what evil men have stolen from others, but the fruit of righteous people comes from themselves.
Mugaye suna sha’awar ganimar mugayen mutane, amma saiwar masu adalci kan haɓaka.
13 An evil person is trapped by his wicked talk, but the righteous person escapes from trouble.
Mugun mutum kan fāɗa a tarkon maganarsa ta zunubi, amma adali kan kuɓuta daga wahala.
14 From the fruit of his words a person is filled with good things, just as the work of his hands rewards him.
Daga abubuwan da suke fitowa daga leɓunansa mutum kan cika da abubuwa masu kyau tabbatacce yadda aikin hannuwansa suke ba shi lada.
15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.
Hanyar wawa daidai take a gare shi, amma mai hikima kan saurari shawara.
16 A fool shows his anger at once, but one who ignores an insult is prudent.
Wawa kan nuna fushinsa nan take, amma mai la’akari kan ƙyale zargi.
17 The one who speaks the truth says what is right, but a false witness tells lies.
Mashaidin gaskiya kan ba da shaidar gaskiya, amma mashaidin ƙarya yana baza ƙarairayi ne.
18 The words of one who speaks rashly are like the thrusts of a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
Maganganun rashin tunani sukan soki mutum kamar takobi, amma harshen mai hikima kan kawo warkarwa.
19 Truthful lips last forever, but a lying tongue is only for a moment.
Leɓunan gaskiya kan dawwama har abada, amma harshen ƙarya yakan dawwama na ɗan lokaci ne kawai.
20 There is deceit in the hearts of those who plan to do evil, but joy comes to the advisors of peace.
Akwai ruɗu a zukatan waɗanda suke ƙulla mugunta, amma waɗanda suke aikata alheri za su yi farin ciki.
21 No ill comes on the righteous person, but wicked people are filled with difficulties.
Ba wani lahanin da zai sami masu adalci, amma mugaye suna da nasu cike da wahala.
22 Yahweh hates lying lips, but those who live faithfully are his delight.
Ubangiji yana ƙyamar leɓunan masu ƙarya, amma yana jin daɗin mutanen da suke masu gaskiya.
23 A prudent man conceals his knowledge, but the heart of fools shouts out folly.
Mai la’akari kan kiyaye saninsa wa kansa, amma zuciyar wawa kan yi ta tallar wawanci.
24 The hand of the diligent will rule, but lazy people will be put to forced labor.
Hannuwan masu aiki tuƙuru za su yi mulki, amma ragwanci kan ƙarasa a aikin bauta.
25 Anxiety in the heart of a person weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.
Zuciya mai damuwa takan naƙasar da mutum, amma maganar alheri kan faranta masa rai.
26 The righteous person is a guide for his friend, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Adali yakan yi hankali a abokantaka, amma hanyar mugaye kan kai su ga kaucewa.
27 Lazy people would not roast their own game, but the diligent man will obtain precious wealth.
Rago ba ya gashin abin da ya kama daga farauta, amma mai aiki tuƙuru yakan ɗauki mallakarsa da muhimmanci.
28 Those who walk in the right way find life and in its path there is no death.
A hanyar adalci akwai rai; a wannan hanya akwai rashin mutuwa.
