< Philippians 2 >

1 If there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any comfort from his love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if there are any tender mercies and compassions,
Sen roidong ah Kristo damdi ang thoih rongtangtang ang thuk halan, nyia heh minchan ih sen ah kooncha halan. Sen Esa Chiiala damdi roomtong lan, nyia sen jiinni minchan nyi tenthet ah esiit esiit suh eje.
2 then make my joy full by thinking alike, having the same love, being united in spirit, and having the same purpose.
Sen suh ngah ih baat rumhala, sen loong ah tenthun esiit, mongnook esiit, thung atak nyia chiiala lam nah esiit ang anno ngah ah roonthuk he.
3 Do nothing out of selfishness or empty conceit. Instead with humility consider others better than yourselves.
Tumjih uh nyamnyook tenthun nawa ih nak re an adoleh lalangka lam ih nak ngaampo an, erah nang ih bah esiit esiit damdoh toongtang lam ih tong an, saarookwih senteewah nang ih wahoh ah ese ih samthun an.
4 Each of you should take care not only for your own needs, but also for the needs of others.
Nyia wahoh ih tumjih thunha erah roong samthun suh thun an sen teeteewah tenthun nah laklak lah angthang ih ah.
5 You should have the same attitude toward one another as was in Christ Jesus.
Senthung sentak ah Jisu Kristo thung atak angta likhiik angtheng:
6 He existed in the form of God, but he did not consider his equality with God as something to hold on to.
Heh di saarookwih Rangte dang ajang ah jeeta, enoothong heh ih mamah ih bah uh Rangte thanthan ih hoon suh tathuntakta.
7 Instead, he emptied himself by taking the form of a servant, and he was born in the likeness of men.
Erah nang ih, heh teeteewah thung nawa ih heh di tumjih jeeta loong ah thiinhaat ano, laksuh angjih dang ajang ah kapta. Heh ah mina likhiik ih dong hoonta nyia mina jih ajaat likhiik ih dong taha.
8 He humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death of a cross!
Heh ah toongtang angta erah dam ih Rangte jeng chaatchaat lam ih heh roidong ah thoonta— bangphak ni laan tek ruh ah.
9 Therefore God also highly exalted him. He gave him the name that is above every name.
Erah thoih Rangte ih heh ah echoong thoon rangkothung ni saatsiit wanta eno heh men ah o men nang ih uh elongthoon et men kota.
10 He did this so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend, the knees of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
Erah tungthoih, Jisu men ah soomtu suh jaatrep rangmong nawa, hatoh nawa, nyia mongrep hakhu nawa loong ah neng lakuh doh tong rum ah,
11 He did this so that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
eno loongtang ih saasa lam ih Jisu Kristo ah seng Teesu ih tumbaat rum ah, Rangte hewah men ah raksiit suh ah.
12 So then, my beloved, as you always obey, not only in my presence but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Erah thoih, nga joonte loong, ngah sen damdi ang tokdi saarookwih sen ah nga jeng chaatchaat kah etan, eno amadi ngah haloot ni anglang tok adoh tang ehan ih nga jeng ah thaangchaat an, erah sen raangtaan suh maaklong doh chap ah. Sen khopiiroidong ah chosuh bah emocho damdoh pakna ruh ih kah an,
13 For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
tumeah Rangte ih sen loong ah heh mootkaat nah jen reethuk suh nyia heh jeng chaatchaat jen ang thuk suh saarookwih sen roidong ni ban moruh ehala.
14 Do all things without complaining or arguing.
Jaatrep ah changrook waangti nyia jengdaan muh ih re an,
15 Act in this way so that you may become blameless and honest, children of God without blemish. Act in this way so that you may shine as lights in the world, in the middle of a crooked and depraved generation.
arah mongrep adi bah ethih reeraang pakna nyia rangdah mina loong meela, eno sen ah erah mina loong damdoh toongtang nyia saachamcham ih tongsong an Rangte suh asah mi jen angsuh ah. Sen loong ah neng dung nah rangkhothung echoong ni reksih phaakla likhiik jaatjaat ih phaak theng,
16 Hold tightly to the word of life so that I may have reason to glory on the day of Christ. For then I will know that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.
tumeah sen ih neng suh khothing roidong tiit ah baat han. Sen loong ah emamah ih re anbah Kristo Rangwuung sa doh ngah sen suh rapne ih khuungpook roonsoonjih ang ah, tumeah erah sa doh bah ngah reeraang pakna tang loong ah thaangmuh ni taboh angka ih jat ang.
17 But even if I am being poured out as an offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
Sen tuungmaang nyia sen mootkaat ah Rangte suh khojoop siik hoon arah likhiik. Eno nga sih ah erah khojoop siik hoon adoh jan adoh botseh ngah sen suh tenroon ang ang.
18 In the same manner you also should be glad and rejoice with me.
Emamah, sen uh tenroon angjih eno nga damdoh tenroon ih roong tongtha han.
19 But I have hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I may also be encouraged when I know the things about you.
Teesu thungpun abah, ngah ih sen jiinnah Timothi ah elaang ih daapkaat suh ejen thun et ang, eno ba sen ruurang ah chaat angno nga tenthun ah rongkopkop ang ah.
20 For I have no one else with his same attitude, who is truly anxious for you.
Nga tenthun jun ih roong samthunte nyia sen loong amiimi ih koonchaate warah heh luulu ju angkah.
21 For they all seek their own interests, not the things of Jesus Christ.
Mirep ih Jisu ah lasamthun thang ih, neng di marah seela erah ba samthun rumha.
22 But you know his worth, because as a child serves his father, so he served with me in the gospel.
Sen ih jat ehan Timothi heteewah ah tumjaat mina ah ih noisok hali rah ah, hewah damdi heh sah roong mola likhiik ih, heh ah nga damdam ruurangese tiit roong tumbaat taha.
23 So I hope to send him as soon as I see how things will go with me.
Erah thoih, ngah tumjih angte erah jat ang no ba Timothi ah sen jiinnah elaang ih daapkaat suh ban samthun hang.
24 But I am confident in the Lord that I myself will also come soon.
Erah dam ih ngah ih Teesu suh kamkam ih samthun hang, nga teewah ah elaang ih sen jiinnah ejen chomoi ih raahang.
25 But I think it is necessary to send Epaphroditus back to you. He is my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and servant for my needs.
Ngah ih thun etang Epaphroditus, nga damdi Rangte tiit roong tumbaatte wah, toongtang sipaahi tiitbaatte pangte nyia sen ih ngah chosok suh sen kaamwah ih daapjah tahan ah sen jiinnah ngaak daapjih jaatjaat eah.
26 For he was very distressed, and he longed to be with you all, because you heard that he was sick.
Heh ih sen chosok suh rapne ih mongsaam la nyia thungjoongla, tumeah sen ih heh ah esat ela ih japchaat etan.
27 For indeed he was so sick that he almost died. But God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but also on me, so that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow.
Elang eah heh ah rapne ih satta, etek nep taat eta, enoothong Rangte ih tenthet ano ngaak deesiitta, heh laklak lah angthang ih ngah nep tenthet tahang, sootsaam khodoh sootsaam phoboot ang ah eah.
28 So it is all the more eagerly that I am sending him, so that when you see him again you may rejoice, and I can be free from anxiety.
Erah thoih sen jiinnah daapkaat suh ngah ih ehan ih samthun hang, eno ba sen ih heh ah japtup ano ehan ih roon an, eno nga sootsaam anep mat eah.
29 Welcome Epaphroditus in the Lord with all joy. Honor people like him.
Eno bah, sen ih heh ah tenroon lam ih Teesu mendoh sen phono likhiik ih ban noppoon an. Eno heh soongraang han likhiik mih uh emamah ih soongraang an,
30 For it was for the work of Christ that he came near death. He risked his life to serve me and fill up what you could not do in service to me.
