< Philippians 1 >

1 Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all those set apart in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and deacons.
Jesus Christ i sal te, Paul le Timothy in, Philippi a om Christ Jesus sung ah mithiangtho te, husya te le pawlpi upa te:
2 May grace be to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I Pa Pathian le Topa Jesus Christ tung pan thuthiamna le thinnopna sia note tung ah hong om tahen.
3 I thank my God every time I remember you;
Note kong phaw sim in ka Pathian ka pok hi,
4 and always in every prayer for all of you, I pray with joy.
Note theampo atu thu ka nget sim in tatsat ngawl lungdamko na taw ka ngen hi,
5 I give thanks for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.
Lungdamna thupha sung ah na ki pawlkhop na uh hu in a ni phitbel ni pan tu ni dong;
6 I am confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Hi thu sung mama ah ki muanna ka nei hi, note sung ah nasep pha a pan pa in Jesus Christ ni dong seam suak tu hi:
7 It is right for me to feel this way about all of you because I have you in my heart. You all have been my partners in grace both in my imprisonment and in my defense and confirmation of the gospel.
Note theampo i thu ka ngaisut tawntung sia thuman a hihi, banghangziam cile ka thinsung ah na om uhhi; thong ka tak ciang ahizong, lungdamna thupha ka dinpui a, ka kipsak ciang ahizong, note theampo in ka thuthiamna taw nong dinpui uh hi.
8 For God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the compassion of Christ Jesus.
Jesus Christ i itna sung ah na vekpi uh in bangza in hong phawk khi ziam, ci sia Pathian ka tetti a hihi.
9 I am praying this: That your love may abound more and more in knowledge and all understanding.
Taciang na ki itna uh sia heakna le thukhenna theampo sung ah tam seseam a khan natu ahizong;
10 I pray for this so that you may approve what is excellent, and so you may be sincere and without offense on the day of Christ.
Tabang in note Christ ni dong thintak le khialna om ngawl in, a phabel nate honglak thei tu in ahizong;
11 I pray that you also will be filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Jesus Christ tungtawn in thutang suana i nga te taw kidim a, Pathian minthanna le pokna na hi thei natu uh in, thu ka ngen hi.
12 Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel.
Ahihang suapui te awng, ka tung ah hong theng thu te sia lungdamna thupha ki zel na hong suak hi;
13 As a result, my chains in Christ came to light throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else.
Tua ahikom tua Christ i sung ah ka thongtakna sia kumpi innsung theampo le mun tatuam ah kilang hi;
14 Most of the brothers have far more confidence in the Lord because of my chains, and they have courage to fearlessly speak the word.
Taciang Topa sung ah suapui tampi te sia thong ka tak hu in, ki muang saseam a, launa om ngawl in Pathian thu sia hangsan seseam in son uh hi.
15 Some indeed even proclaim Christ out of envy and strife, and also others out of good will.
Pawlkhat te in Christ thu sia hazatna le enna taw in hil uh hi; taciang pawlkhat te in deisakna pha taw son uh hi:
16 The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.
Pawlkhat te in Christ thu sia ki enna taw hil uh a, thintak taw a hil bua uh hi, keima thongtakna sia haksatna ki belap tu in ngaisun uh hi:
17 But the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely. They think they will afflict me while I am in chains.
Ahihang a dang pawlkhat te in keima sia lungdamna thupha a panpui tu in hong ki koi ka hi siahe a, itna taw phuang uh hi.
18 What then? Only that in every way—whether from false motives or from true—Christ is proclaimed, and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice,
Tabang ahile bang hi tu ziam? Ahi tazong, a son theam uh ahizong, a hibale, thuman taw ahizong, bangbang po ahizong Christ thuhil ahi na uh le ka lungdam hi, taciang maisang zong ka lungdam suak tu hi.
19 for I know that this will result in my deliverance through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
Banghangziam cile na thu ngetna uh le Jesus Christ i Thaa panpui na tungtawn in hi thu sia ka suatakna hong suak tu hi, ci ka he hi,
20 It is my eager expectation and certain hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but that I will have complete boldness, so that now as always, Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.
Ka thinsung takpi taw muang in ka lamet bangma in, bang thu po ahizong ka mai a zum bua hi, ahihang hangsanna theampo taw tatsat ngawl in ka pumpi sung ah nuntakna tungtawn in, a hibale thina tungtawn in, Christ sia lapsang hi tu hi,
21 For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Banghangziam cile keima atu in nuntak na sia Christ a hihi, taciang thina zong phattuamna om hi.
22 But if I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which to choose? I do not know.
Ahizong ka pumpi sung ah ka nungta ahile, hisia in ka nasep i nga a hihi: ahihang bang teal zaw tu ci sia ka he bua hi.
23 For I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, which is far better,
Banghangziam cile thu ni ki laklaw a ciak na mun ah ka om hi, pusuak a, Christ taw omkhop tu ka uk hi; tasia thu phazaw pek hi:
24 yet to remain in the flesh is more necessary for your sake.
Ahihang pumpi sung ah om tu sia note atu in kisam zaw hi.
25 Being convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith,
Taciang hi ki muanna ka nei hu in, na upna uh i lungdamna a tam seseam thei natu in, pumpi sung ah om tu sia note theampo taw kizom in ka om tu hi, ci ka he hi;
26 so that in me you may have increasing reasons to boast in Christ Jesus when I come to you again.
Tabang in note kung ah kong paikik na tungtawn in Jesus Christ sung ah keima atu in na lungdamna uh sia dimlet seseam tu hi.
27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come to see you or am absent, I may hear about you, that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.
Na nuntak zia uh sia Christ i lungdamna thupha bek taw hi tahen: tabang in keima hongpai in note te kong mu a, a hibale keima ka om ngawl sung ah, note sia thaa khat sung ah kiptak in ma na pang khawm uh a, lungdamna thupha upna atu in thinsung khat taw na hanciam tek na uh thu ka zak thei natu in;
28 Do not be frightened in any respect by those who are your opponents. This is a sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation—and this from God.
Taciang na ngal te uh hang in bangma lau heak vun: tabang te sia amate atu in siatsuana kilangsak te a hihi, ahihang note atu in Pathian i ngupna a hihi.
29 For it has been granted to you, for the sake of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for his sake,
Banghangziam cile note kung ah Christ taang in ama up tu bek in hong pia ngawl a, Ama atu in thuak tu zong hong pia hi;
30 having the same conflict which you saw in me, and now you hear in me.
Keima sung ah na mu uh ki langpan na le tu in na zak uh thu sia, note in zong na nei uh thu a hihi.
