1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
The Lord told Moses,
2 “Command the people of Israel and say to them, 'You must offer sacrifices to me at the appointed times, the food of my offerings made by fire to produce a sweet aroma for me.'
“Give the following regulations to the Israelites: ‘You are to present to me at the appropriate times my food offerings for me to accept.
3 You must also say to them, 'This is the offering made by fire that you must offer to Yahweh—male lambs a year old without blemish, two each day, as a regular burnt offering.
Tell them you are to present to the Lord every day two male lambs a year old as a continual burnt offering.
4 One lamb you must offer in the morning, and the other lamb you must offer in the evening.
Offer one lamb in the morning and one in the evening before it gets dark,
5 You must offer a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil.
along with one tenth of an ephah of best flour for a grain offering, mixed with a quarter of a hin of pressed olive oil.
6 This is the regular burnt offering that was commanded at Mount Sinai to produce a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
This is a continual burnt offering that was begun at Mount Sinai as an offering acceptable to the Lord.
7 The drink offering with it must be one-fourth of a hin for one of the lambs. You must pour out in the holy place a drink offering of strong drink to Yahweh.
The drink offering that accompanies each lamb is to be a quarter of a hin. Pour out the offering of fermented drink to the Lord in the sanctuary.
8 The other lamb you must offer in the evening along with another grain offering like the one offered in the morning. You must also offer another drink offering with it, an offering made by fire, to produce a sweet aroma for Yahweh.
Offer the second lamb in the evening before it gets dark, along with the same grain and drink offerings as in the morning. It is a burnt offering acceptable to the Lord.
9 On the Sabbath day you must offer two male lambs, each a year old without blemish, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, and the drink offering with it.
On the Sabbath day, present male lambs two years old, without defects, along with a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of the best flour mixed with olive oil, and its drink offering.
10 This is to be the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and the drink offering with it.
This burnt offering is to be presented every Sabbath in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.
11 At the beginning of each month, you must offer a burnt offering to Yahweh. You must offer two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old without blemish.
At the start of every month, you are to present to the Lord a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old, all of them without defects,
12 You must also offer three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering mixed with oil for each bull, and two-tenths of fine flour as a grain offering mixed with oil for the one ram.
along with grain offerings consisting of three-tenths of an ephah of the best flour mixed with olive oil for each bull, two-tenths of an ephah of the best flour mixed with olive oil for the ram,
13 You must also offer a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each lamb. This is to be the burnt offering, to produce a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
and one tenth of an ephah of the best flour mixed with olive oil for each of the lambs. This is a burnt offering acceptable to the Lord.
14 The people's drink offerings must be half a hin of wine for a bull, a third of a hin for a ram, and one-fourth of a hin for a lamb. This is to be the burnt offering for every month throughout the months of the year.
Their respective drink offerings shall be a half a hin of wine for each bull, a third of a hin for the ram, and a quarter of a hin for each lamb. This is the monthly burnt offering to be presented every month during the year.
15 One male goat as a sin offering to Yahweh must be offered. This will be in addition to the regular burnt offering and the drink offering with it.
As well as the continual burnt offering with its drink offering, present a male goat to the Lord as a sin offering.
16 During the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, comes Yahweh's Passover.
The Lord's Passover is on the fourteenth day of the first month.
17 On the fifteenth day of this month a feast is to be held. For seven days, bread without yeast must be eaten.
There shall be a festival on the fifteenth day of this month, and for seven days only eat bread without yeast.
18 On the first day, there must be a holy assembly to honor Yahweh. You must not do regular work on that day.
Hold a holy meeting on the first day of the festival. Don't do any of your normal work.
19 However, you must offer a sacrifice made by fire, a burnt offering to Yahweh. You must offer two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old, without blemish.
Present to the Lord the following offerings: a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old, all of them without defects.
20 Along with the bull, you must offer a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, and along with the ram, two-tenths.
Their grain offerings shall be made of the best flour mixed with olive oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths of an ephah for the ram,
21 With each of the seven lambs, you must offer a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil,
and one tenth of an ephah for each of the seven lambs.
22 and one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for yourselves.
Also present a male goat as a sin offering to make you right.
23 You must offer these in addition to the regular burnt offering required each morning.
You are to present these offerings in addition to the continual morning burnt offering.
24 As described here, you must offer these sacrifices daily, for the seven days of the Passover, the food of the offering made by fire, a sweet aroma for Yahweh. It must be offered in addition to the regular burnt offering and the drink offering with it.
Present the same offerings every day for seven days as burnt offerings to be accepted by the Lord. They are to be offered with their drink offering and the continual burnt offering.
25 On the seventh day you must have a holy assembly to honor Yahweh, and you must not do regular work on that day.
Hold a holy meeting on the seventh day of the festival. Don't do any of your normal work.
26 Also on the day of the firstfruits, when you offer a new grain offering to Yahweh in your Festival of Weeks, you must have a holy assembly to honor Yahweh, and you must not do regular work on that day.
During the time you celebrate the Festival of Weeks, hold a holy meeting on the day of firstfruits when you present an offering of new grain to the Lord. Don't do any of your normal work.
27 You must offer a burnt offering to produce a sweet aroma for Yahweh. You must offer two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old.
Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old to be accepted by the Lord.
28 Offer also grain offering to go with them: Fine flour mixed with oil, three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for each bull and two-tenths for the one ram.
They are to be accompanied by their grain offerings of the best flour mixed with olive oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths of an ephah for the ram,
29 Offer a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for each of the seven lambs,
and one tenth of an ephah for each of the seven lambs.
30 and one male goat to make atonement for yourselves.
Also present a male goat as an offering to make you right.
31 When you offer those animals without blemish, along with their drink offerings, this must be in addition to the regular burnt offering and the grain offering with it.'”
Present these offerings along with their drink offerings in addition to the continual burnt offering and its grain offering. Make sure the animals sacrificed have no defects.”
