Numbers 26
1 It came about after the plague that Yahweh spoke to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron the priest. He said,

2 “Count all the community of the people of Israel, from twenty years old and up, by their ancestor's families, all who are able to go to war for Israel.”
| «تمامی مردان اسرائیل را از بیست سال به بالا سرشماری کنید تا معلوم شود از هر قبیله و طایفه چند نفر می‌توانند به جنگ بروند.» |
3 So Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke to them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho and said,
| بنابراین وقتی ایشان در دشتهای موآب، کنار رود اردن، روبروی اریحا اردو زده بودند، موسی و العازار کاهن خطاب به ایشان گفتند: |
4 “Count the people, from twenty years old and up, as Yahweh commanded Moses and the people of Israel, who came out of the land of Egypt.”
| «قوم را از بیست ساله و بالاتر سرشماری کنید، همان‌گونه که خداوند به موسی فرمان داده بود.» اینانند اسرائیلیانی که از مصر بیرون آمدند: |
5 Reuben was the firstborn of Israel. From his son Hanok came the clan of the Hanokites. From Pallu came the clan of the Palluites.
| قبیلهٔ رئوبین: ۴۳٬۷۳۰ نفر. (رئوبین پسر نخست‌زاده یعقوب بود.) طایفه‌های زیر جزو این قبیله بودند و به اسم پسران رئوبین نامگذاری شده بودند: طایفهٔ حنوکی‌ها، به نام جدشان حنوک؛ طایفهٔ فلوئی‌ها، به نام جدشان فلو؛ (خاندان الیاب که یکی از پسران فلو بود شامل خانواده‌های نموئیل، ابیرام و داتان بود. داتان و ابیرام همان دو رهبری بودند که با قورح علیه موسی و هارون توطئه نمودند و در حقیقت به خداوند اهانت کردند. ولی زمین دهان گشود و آنها را بلعید و آتش از جانب خداوند آمده، دویست و پنجاه نفر را سوزانید. این اخطاری بود به بقیهٔ قوم اسرائیل. اما پسران قورح کشته نشدند.) طایفهٔ حصرونی‌ها، به نام جدشان حصرون؛ طایفهٔ کرمی‌ها، به نام جدشان کرمی. |
6 From Hezron came the clan of the Hezronites. From Karmi came the clan of the Karmites.
7 These were the clans of Reuben, who numbered 43,730 men.
8 Eliab was a son of Pallu.
9 Eliab's sons were Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. These were the same Dathan and Abiram who followed Korah when they challenged Moses and Aaron and rebelled against Yahweh.
10 The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah when all his followers died. At that time, fire devoured 250 men, who became a warning sign.
11 But Korah's line did not die out.
12 The clans of Simeon's descendants were these: Through Nemuel, the clan of the Nemuelites, through Jamin, the clan of the Jaminites, through Jakin, the clan of the Jakinites,
| قبیلهٔ شمعون: ۲۲٬۲۰۰ نفر. طایفه‌های زیر جزو این قبیله بودند و به اسم پسران شمعون نامگذاری شده بودند: نموئیلی‌ها، به نام جدشان نموئیل؛ یامینی‌ها، به نام جدشان یامین؛ یاکینی‌ها، به نام جدشان یاکین؛ زارحی‌ها، به نام جدشان زارح؛ شائولی‌ها، به نام جدشان شائول. |
13 through Zerah, the clan of the Zerahites, through Shaul, the clan of the Shaulites.
14 These were the clans of Simeon's descendants, who numbered 22,200 men.
15 The clans of Gad's descendants were these: Through Zephon, the clan of the Zephonites, through Haggi, the clan of the Haggites, through Shuni, the clan of the Shunites,
| قبیلهٔ جاد: ۴۰٬۵۰۰ نفر. طایفه‌های زیر جزو این قبیله بودند و به اسم پسران جاد نامگذاری شدند: صفونی‌ها، به نام جدشان صفون؛ حجی‌ها، به نام جدشان حجی؛ شونی‌ها، به نام جدشان شونی؛ اُزنی‌ها، به نام جدشان ازنی؛ عیری‌ها، به نام جدشان عیری؛ ارودی‌ها، به نام جدشان ارود؛ ارئیلی‌ها، به نام جدشان ارئیل. |
16 through Ozni, the clan of the Oznites, through Eri, the clan of the Erites,
17 through Arod, the clan of the Arodites, through Areli, the clan of the Arelites.
18 These were the clans of Gad's descendants, who numbered 40,500 men.
19 Judah's sons were Er and Onan, but these men died in the land of Canaan.
| قبیلهٔ یهودا: ۷۶٬۵۰۰ نفر. طایفه‌های زیر جزو این قبیله بودند و به اسم پسران یهودا نامگذاری شدند، ولی عیر و اونان که در سرزمین کنعان مردند جزو آنها نبودند: شیله‌ای‌ها به نام جدشان شیله؛ فارِصی‌ها، به نام جدشان فارِص؛ زارحی‌ها، به نام جدشان زارح. خاندانهای زیر جزو طایفهٔ فارص بودند: حصرونی‌ها، به نام جدشان حصرون؛ حامولی‌ها، به نام جدشان حامول. |
20 The clans of Judah's other descendants were these: through Shelah, the clan of the Shelanites, through Perez, the clan of the Perezites, and through Zerah, the clan of the Zerahites.
21 The descendants of Perez were these: Through Hezron, the clan of the Hezronites, through Hamul, the clan of the Hamulites.
22 These were the clans of Judah's descendants, who numbered 76,500 men.
23 The clans of Issachar's descendants were these: Through Tola, the clan of the Tolaites, through Puah, the clan of the Puites,

24 through Jashub, the clan of the Jashubites, through Shimron, the clan of the Shimronites.
25 These were the clans of Issachar, who numbered 64,300 men.
26 The clans of Zebulun's descendants were these: Through Sered, the clan of the Seredites, through Elon, the clan of the Elonites, through Jahleel, the clan of the Jahleelites.
| قبیلهٔ زبولون: ۶۰٬۵۰۰ نفر. طایفه‌های زیر جزو این قبیله بودند و به اسم پسران زبولون نامگذاری شدند: سارَدی‌ها، به نام جدشان سارَد؛ ایلونی‌ها، به نام جدشان ایلون؛ یحلی‌ئیلی‌ها، به نام جدشان یحلی‌ئیل. |
27 These were the clans of the Zebulunites, who numbered 60,500 men.
28 The clans of Joseph's descendants were Manasseh and Ephraim.
| نسل یوسف: ۳۲٬۵۰۰ نفر در قبیلهٔ افرایم و ۵۲٬۷۰۰ نفر در قبیلهٔ منسی. در قبیلهٔ منسی طایفهٔ ماخیرها بودند که به نام جدشان ماخیر نامیده می‌شدند. طایفهٔ جلعادی‌ها نیز از ماخیر بودند و به اسم جدشان جلعاد نامیده می‌شدند. طایفه‌های زیر از جلعاد بودند: اِیعَزَری‌ها، به نام جدشان اِیعَزَر؛ حالقی‌ها، به نام جدشان حالق؛ اسری‌ئیلی‌ها، به نام جدشان اسری‌ئیل؛ شکیمی‌ها، به نام جدشان شکیم؛ شمیداعی‌ها، به نام جدشان شمیداع؛ حافری‌ها، به نام جدشان حافر. (صِلُفحاد پسر حافر پسری نداشت، اما پنج دختر داشت به نامهای محله، نوعه، حُجله، ملکه و ترصه.) تعداد ۳۲٬۵۰۰ نفر که زیر اسم قبیلهٔ افرایم ثبت شده بودند، شامل طایفه‌های زیر بودند که به اسم پسران افرایم نامیده می‌شدند: شوتالحی‌ها، به نام جدشان شوتالح؛ (یکی از طوایف شوتالحی‌ها، عیرانی‌ها بودند که به نام جدشان عیران نامیده می‌شدند.) باکری‌ها، به نام جدشان باکر؛ تاحَنی‌ها، به نام جدشان تاحَن. |
29 The descendants of Manasseh were these: through Makir, the clan of the Makirites (Makir was Gilead's father), through Gilead, the clan of the Gileadites.
30 Gilead's descendants were these: Through Iezer, the clan of the Iezerites, through Helek, the clan of the Helekites,
31 through Asriel, the clan of the Asrielites, through Shechem, the clan of the Shechemites,
32 through Shemida, the clan of the Shemidaites, through Hepher, the clan of the Hepherites.
33 Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons, but only daughters. The names of his daughters were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milkah, and Tirzah.
34 These were the clans of Manasseh, who numbered 52,700 men.
35 The clans of Ephraim's descendants were these: Through Shuthelah, the clan of the Shuthelahites, through Beker, the clan of the Bekerites, through Tahan, the clan of the Tahanites.
36 The descendants of Shuthelah were, by Eran, the clan of the Eranites.
37 These were the clans of Ephraim's descendants, who numbered 32,500 men. These were Joseph's descendants, counted in each of their clans.
38 The clans of Benjamin's descendants were these: Through Bela, the clan of the Belaites, through Ashbel, the clan of the Ashbelites, through Ahiram, the clan of the Ahiramites,
| قبیلهٔ بنیامین: ۴۵٬۶۰۰ نفر. طایفه‌های زیر جزو این قبیله بودند و به اسم پسران بنیامین نامگذاری شدند: بالعی‌ها، به نام جدشان بالع؛ (طایفه‌های زیر از بالع بودند: اردی‌ها، به نام جدشان ارد؛ نَعمانی‌ها، به نام جدشان نَعمان.) اشبیلی‌ها، به نام جدشان اشبیل؛ احیرامی‌ها، به نام جدشان احیرام؛ شفوفامی‌ها، به نام جدشان شفوفام؛ حوفامی‌ها، به نام جدشان حوفام. |
39 through Shephupham, the clan of the Shuphamites, through Hupham, the clan of the Huphamites.
40 Bela's sons were Ard and Naaman. From Ard came the clan of the Ardites, and from Naaman came the clan of the Naamites.
41 These were the clans of Benjamin's descendants. They numbered 45,600 men.
42 The clans of Dan's descendants were, by Shuham, the clans of the Shuhamites. These were the clans of Dan's descendants.
| قبیلهٔ دان: ۶۴٬۴۰۰ نفر. در این قبیله طایفهٔ شوحامی‌ها بودند که نام جدشان شوحام پسر دان بر آنها گذاشته شده بود. |
43 All the clans of the Shuhamites numbered 64,400 men.
44 The clans of Asher's descendants were these: Through Imnah, the clan of the Imnites, through Ishvi, the clan of the Ishvites, through Beriah, the clan of the Beriites.
| قبیلهٔ اشیر: ۵۳٬۴۰۰ نفر. طایفه‌های زیر جزو این قبیله بودند و به اسم پسران اشیر نامگذاری شدند: یمنی‌ها، به نام جدشان یمنه؛ یشوی‌ها، به نام جدشان یشوی؛ بریعیی‌ها، به نام جدشان بریعه؛ طایفه‌های زیر از بریعه بودند: حابری‌ها، به نام جدشان حابر؛ ملکی‌ئیلی‌ها، به نام جدشان ملکی‌ئیل. اشیر دختری نیز داشت به نام سارح. |
45 The descendants of Beriah were these: Through Heber, the clan of the Heberites, through Malkiel, the clan of the Malkielites.
46 The name of Asher's daughter was Serah.
47 These were the clans of Asher's descendants, who numbered 53,400 men.
48 The clans of Naphtali's descendants were these: Through Jahzeel, the clan of the Jahzeelites, through Guni, the clan of the Gunites,
| قبیلهٔ نفتالی: ۴۵٬۴۰۰ نفر. طایفه‌های زیر جزو این قبیله بودند و به اسم پسران نفتالی نامگذاری شدند: یاحص‌ئیلی‌ها، به نام جدشان یاحص‌ئیل؛ جونی‌ها، به نام جدشان جونی؛ یصری‌ها، به نام جدشان یصر؛ شلیمی‌ها، به نام جدشان شلیم. |
49 through Jezer, the clan of the Jezerites, through Shillem, the clan of the Shillemites.
50 These were the clans of Naphtali's descendants, who numbered 45,400 men.
51 This was the complete count of men among the people of Israel: 601,730.
| پس تعداد کل مردان قوم اسرائیل ۶۰۱٬۷۳۰ نفر بود. |
52 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
| سپس خداوند به موسی فرمود: «این سرزمین را بین قبایل به نسبت جمعیت آنها تقسیم کن. به قبیله‌های بزرگتر زمین بیشتر و به قبیله‌های کوچکتر زمین کمتر داده شود. |
53 “The land must be divided among these men as an inheritance according to the number of their names.
54 To the larger clans you must give more inheritance, and to the smaller clans you must give less inheritance. To every family you must give an inheritance according to the number of men who were counted.
55 However, the land must be divided by random lots. They must inherit the land as it will be divided among their ancestors' tribes.
| نمایندگان قبایل بزرگتر برای زمینهای بزرگتر و قبایل کوچکتر برای زمینهای کوچکتر قرعه بکشند.» |
56 Their inheritance must be divided among the larger and the smaller clans, distributed to them by random lot.”
57 The Levite clans, counted clan by clan, were these: Through Gershon, the clan of the Gershonites, through Kohath, the clan of the Kohathites, through Merari, the clan of the Merarites.
| قبایل لاویان که سرشماری شدند از این قرارند: جرشونی‌ها، به نام جدشان جرشون؛ قهاتی‌ها، به نام جدشان قهات؛ مراری‌ها، به نام جدشان مراری. |
58 The clans of Levi were these: the clan of the Libnites, the clan of the Hebronites, the clan of the Mahlites, the clan of the Mushites, and the clan of the Korahites. Kohath was the Amram's ancestor.
| این طایفه‌ها نیز جزو قبیلهٔ لاوی بودند: لبنی‌ها، حبرونی‌ها، محلی‌ها، موشی‌ها و قورحی‌ها. زمانی که لاوی در مصر بود صاحب دختری به نام یوکابد شد که بعد به همسری عمرام، پسر قهات، درآمد. یوکابد و عمرام پدر و مادر هارون و موسی و مریم بودند. |
59 The name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, a descendant of Levi, who was born to Levites in Egypt. She bore to Amram their children, who were Aaron, Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
| ناداب و ابیهو و العازار و ایتامار فرزندان هارون بودند. |
61 Nadab and Abihu died when they offered before Yahweh unacceptable fire.
| ناداب و ابیهو وقتی آتش غیر مجاز به حضور خداوند تقدیم کردند مردند. |
62 The males who were counted among them numbered twenty-three thousand, all males one month old and up. But they were not counted among Israel's descendants because no inheritance was given to them among the people of Israel.
| تعداد کل پسران و مردان قبیلهٔ لاوی از یک ماهه به بالا در سرشماری ۲۳٬۰۰۰ نفر بود. ولی تعداد لاویان در جمع کل سرشماری قوم اسرائیل منظور نمی‌شد، زیرا از سرزمین اسرائیل زمینی به ایشان تعلق نمی‌گرفت. |
63 These are the ones who were counted by Moses and Eleazar the priest. They counted the people of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
| این است ارقام سرشماری‌ای که توسط موسی و العازار کاهن، در دشت موآب کنار رود اردن و در مقابل اریحا به دست آمد. |
64 But among these there was no man who had been counted by Moses and Aaron the priest when the descendants of Israel were counted in the wilderness of Sinai.
| در تمام این سرشماری، حتی یک نفر وجود نداشت که در سرشماری قبلی که در صحرای سینا توسط موسی و هارون کاهن به عمل آمده بود شمرده شده باشد، زیرا تمام کسانی که در آن وقت شمرده شده بودند در بیابان مرده بودند، درست همان‌طور که خداوند گفته بود. تنها افرادی که زنده مانده بودند کالیب پسر یفنه و یوشع پسر نون بودند. |
65 For Yahweh had said that all of those people would certainly die in the wilderness. There was not a man left among them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
