Numbers 10
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses. He said,
সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন,
2 “Make two silver trumpets. Hammer the silver to make them. You must use the trumpets to call the community together and to call the community to move their camps.
“পিটানো রুপো দিয়ে দুটি তূরী নির্মাণ করো এবং জনসাধারণকে একত্র করতে ও ছাউনির যাত্রা শুরু করার জন্য সেগুলি ব্যবহার করবে।
3 The priests must blow the trumpets to call all the community together in front of you at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
যখন উভয় তূরী ধ্বনিত হবে, সমস্ত সমাজ, সমাগম তাঁবুর প্রবেশপথে, তোমার কাছে একত্র হবে।
4 If the priests blow only one trumpet, then the leaders, the heads of the clans of Israel, must gather to you.
যদি একটিমাত্র ধ্বনিত হয়, তাহলে নেতৃবর্গ, অর্থাৎ ইস্রায়েলী গোষ্ঠীর প্রধানেরা, তোমার কাছে একত্র হবে।
5 When you blow a loud signal, the camps on the east side must begin their journey.
যখন প্রথমবার তূরীধ্বনি শোনা যাবে, তখন ছাউনিস্থিত পূর্ব প্রান্তের গোষ্ঠীসমূহ যাত্রা শুরু করবে।
6 When you blow a loud signal the second time, the camps on the south side must begin their journey. They must blow a loud signal for their journeys.
দ্বিতীয়বার তূরীধ্বনি শোনা গেলে, দক্ষিণপ্রান্তের ছাউনিসমূহ যাত্রা করবে। তুরীধ্বনিই যাত্রা শুরুর সংকেত হবে।
7 When the community gathers together, blow the trumpets, but not loudly.
জনসাধারণকে একত্র করার জন্য, তূরীধ্বনি করবে, কিন্তু যাত্রা শুরু করার সংকেত হবে না।
8 The sons of Aaron, the priests, must blow the trumpets. This will always be a regulation for you throughout your people's generations.
“হারোণের ছেলেরা যাজকেরা তূরী বাজাবে। এই আদেশ তোমাদের ও তোমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের জন্য চিরদিন থাকবে।
9 When you go to war in your land against an adversary who oppresses you, then you must sound an alarm with the trumpets. I, Yahweh your God, will call you to mind and save you from your enemies.
স্বদেশে, যারা তোমাদের নিপীড়ন করে, যখন তোমরা সেই সমস্ত শত্রুর বিপক্ষে যুদ্ধ করতে যাবে, তূরী বাজাবে। সেই সময় সদাপ্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, তোমাদের স্মরণ করবেন এবং শত্রুর হাত থেকে নিস্তার করবেন।
10 Also, at the times of celebration, both your regular festivals and at the beginnings of the months, you must blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices for your fellowship offerings. These will act as a reminder of you to me, your God. I am Yahweh your God.”
তোমাদের আনন্দের দিনেও, অর্থাৎ তোমাদের নিরূপিত পর্বসমূহে ও পূর্ণিমার উৎসবে, তোমাদের হোম-নৈবেদ্যের ও মঙ্গলার্থক-নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ করার সময়ে, তোমরা তূরী বাজাবে। সেসব ঈশ্বরের সামনে তোমাদের জন্য স্মারকরূপে হবে। আমিই সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বর।”
11 In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was lifted from the tabernacle of the covenant decrees.
দ্বিতীয় বছরের, দ্বিতীয় মাসের, বিংশতিতম দিনে, সাক্ষ্যের তাঁবুর উপর থেকে মেঘ উন্নীত হল।
12 The people of Israel then went on their journey from the wilderness of Sinai. The cloud stopped in the wilderness of Paran.
তখন ইস্রায়েলীরা সীনয় মরুভূমিতে থেকে বের হল এবং তারা এক স্থান থেকে আরেক স্থানে ভ্রমণ করল, যতক্ষণ না মেঘ, পারণ প্রান্তরে এসে থামল।
13 They made their first journey, following Yahweh's command given through Moses.
মোশির মাধ্যমে সদাপ্রভুর আজ্ঞানুসারে, তারা এই প্রথমবার যাত্রা করল।
14 The camp under the banner of Judah's descendants went out first, moving out their individual armies. Nahshon son of Amminadab led Judah's army.
প্রথমে যিহূদার শিবিরের অন্তর্গত সমস্ত সেনাবিভাগ, তাদের নিশান নিয়ে অগ্রসর হল। অম্মীনাদবের ছেলে নহশোন তাদের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
15 Nethanel son of Zuar led the army of the tribe of Issachar's descendants.
ইষাখর গোষ্ঠীর সেনাবিভাগের শীর্ষে সূয়ারের ছেলে নথনেল ছিলেন
16 Eliab son of Helon led the army of the tribe of Zebulun's descendants.
এবং হেলোনের ছেলে ইলীয়াব ছিলেন সবূলূন গোষ্ঠীর সেনাপতি।
17 The descendants of Gershon and of Merari, who cared for the tabernacle, took down the tabernacle and then set out on their journey.
এরপর সমাগম তাঁবু তুলে ফেলা হল এবং যারা তা বহন করত, সেই গের্শোনীয়েরা এবং মরারীয়েরা তখন যাত্রারম্ভ করল।
18 Next, the armies under the banner of Reuben's camp set out on their journey. Elizur son of Shedeur led Reuben's army.
তারপর রূবেণের শিবিরের সমস্ত সৈন্য দলীয় নিশান নিয়ে যাত্রা শুরু করল। শদেয়ূরের ছেলে ইলীষূর তাদের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
19 Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai led the army of the tribe of Simeon's descendants.
শিমিয়োনের গোষ্ঠীর সেনাবিভাগের শীর্ষে ছিলেন সূরীশদ্দয়ের ছেলে শলুমীয়েল।
20 Eliasaph son of Deuel led the army of the tribe of Gad's descendants.
দ্যূয়েলের ছেলে ইলীয়াসফ ছিলেন গাদ গোষ্ঠীর সেনাবিভাগের শীর্ষে।
21 The Kohathites set out. They carried the sanctuary's holy equipment. Others would set up the tabernacle before the Kohathites arrived at the next camp.
এরপর কহাতীয়েরা বের হল। তারা পবিত্র দ্রব্যসমূহ বহন করছিল। তাদের পৌঁছানোর আগেই সমাগম তাঁবু পুনঃস্থাপিত হয়েছিল।
22 The armies under the banner of Ephraim's descendants set out next. Elishama son of Ammihud led Ephraim's army.
তারপর ইফ্রয়িমের শিবিরের সেনাবিভাগ, দলীয় নিশান নিয়ে যাত্রা শুরু করল। অম্মীহূদের ছেলে ইলীশামা ছিলেন সেনাপতি।
23 Gamaliel son of Pedahzur led the army of the tribe of Manasseh's descendants.
পদাহসূরের ছেলে গমলীয়েল, মনঃশি গোষ্ঠীর শীর্ষে ছিলেন।
24 Abidan son of Gideoni led the army of the tribe of Benjamin's descendants.
গিদিয়োনির ছেলে অবীদান ছিলেন বিন্যামীন গোষ্ঠীর সেনাবিভাগের শীর্ষে।
25 The armies that camped under the banner of Dan's descendants set out last. Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai led Dan's army.
সমস্ত শিবিরের পিছনে প্রহরীরূপে দানের শিবিরের সমস্ত সেনাবিভাগ, তাদের নিশান নিয়ে যাত্রা করল। অম্মীশদ্দয়ের ছেলে অহীয়েষর ছিলেন তাদের সেনাপতি।
26 Pagiel son of Okran led the army of the tribe of Asher's descendants.
আশের গোষ্ঠীর সেনাবিভাগের শীর্ষে ছিলেন অক্রণের ছেলে পগীয়েল।
27 Ahira son of Enan led the army of the tribe of Naphtali's descendants.
আবার ঐননের ছেলে অহীরঃ ছিলেন নপ্তালির গোষ্ঠীর সেনাবিভাগের শীর্ষে।
28 This is the way that the armies of the people of Israel set out on their journey.
সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলী সেনাবিভাগ এই ধারায় যাত্রা করত।
29 Moses spoke to Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite. Reuel was the father of Moses' wife. Moses spoke to Hobab and said, “We are traveling to a place that Yahweh described. Yahweh said, 'I will give it to you.' Come with us and we will do you good. Yahweh has promised to do good for Israel.”
এরপর মোশি, তাঁর শ্বশুর, মিদিয়নীয় রূয়েলের ছেলে হোববকে বললেন, “আমরা সেই স্থানের উদ্দেশে বের হয়েছি, যার সম্পর্কে সদাপ্রভু বলেছিলেন, ‘আমি সেই দেশ তোমাকে দেব।’ আমাদের সঙ্গে এসো, আমরা তোমাদের সঙ্গে যথোচিত ব্যবহার করব, কারণ সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েলের কাছে উত্তম বিষয়সমূহের শপথ করেছেন।”
30 But Hobab said to Moses, “I will not go with you. I will go to my own land and my own people.”
সে উত্তর দিল, “না আমি যাব না। আমি স্বদেশে, আমার স্বজাতির কাছে ফিরে যাচ্ছি।”
31 Then Moses replied, “Please do not leave us. You know how to camp in the wilderness. You must watch out for us.
মোশি তা সত্ত্বেও বললেন, “দয়া করে আমাদের ত্যাগ কোরো না। তুমি জানো প্রান্তরে আমাদের কোন স্থানে ছাউনি স্থাপন করতে হবে এবং তুমি আমাদের পথপ্রদর্শক হতে পারো।
32 If you go with us, we will do for you the same good that Yahweh does to us.”
যদি তুমি আমাদের সঙ্গে চলো, তাহলে সদাপ্রভু যে সকল উত্তম দ্রব্য আমাদের দান করবেন, আমরা তোমার সঙ্গে সেই সমস্ত ভাগ করে নেব।”
33 They journeyed from the mountain of Yahweh for three days. The ark of the covenant of Yahweh went before them for three days to find a place for them to rest.
এইভাবে তারা সদাপ্রভুর পর্বত থেকে বের হয়ে তিনদিনের পথ ভ্রমণ করল। সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুক তাদের অগ্রবর্তী হয়ে সেই তিন দিন চলার পর তারা বিশ্রামের জন্য জায়গা অন্বেষণ করল।
34 Yahweh's cloud was over them by daylight as they journeyed.
তারা যখন শিবির থেকে বের হল, সদাপ্রভুর মেঘ তাদের ঊর্ধ্বে বিদ্যমান ছিল।
35 Whenever the ark set out, Moses would say, “Rise up, Yahweh. Scatter your enemies. Make those who hate you run from you.”
যখনই সিন্দুক যাত্রা করত মোশি বলতেন, “হে সদাপ্রভু, ওঠো! তোমার শত্রুদের ছিন্নভিন্ন করো; যারা তোমাকে ঘৃণা করে তারা তোমার সামনে থেকে পালিয়ে যাক।”
36 Whenever the ark stopped, Moses would say, “Return, Yahweh, to Israel's many tens of thousands.”
যখনই বিশ্রামের অবকাশ হত, তিনি বলতেন, “সদাপ্রভু, ফিরে এসো, অযুত অযুত ইস্রায়েলীদের মধ্যে।”
