Numbers 1
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses in the tent of meeting in the wilderness of Sinai. This happened on the first day of the second month during the second year after the people of Israel had come out from the land of Egypt. Yahweh said,
I Господь промовляв до Мойсея в Сінайській пустині в скинії заповіту першого дня другого місяця, другого року від ви́ходу їх з єгипетського кра́ю, гово́рячи:
2 “Conduct a census of all the men of Israel in each clan, in their fathers' families. Count them by name. Count every male, each man
„Перелічіть усю громаду Ізра́їлевих синів за родами їхніми, за дома́ми їхніх батьків числом усіх чоловічої статі за їх го́ловами,
3 who is twenty years old or older. Count all who can fight as soldiers for Israel. You and Aaron must record the number of men in their armed groups.
від віку двадцяти́ літ і вище, кожного, хто здатний до війська в Ізраїлі, — за військовими ві́дділами їхніми перелічі́ть їх ти та Ааро́н.
4 A man from each tribe, a clan head, must serve with you as his tribe's leader. Each leader must lead the men who will fight for his tribe.
А з вами бу́дуть по одному мужеві для племени; той муж — голова дому батькі́в своїх він.
5 These are the names of the leaders who must fight with you: From the tribe of Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;
А оце ймення тих мужі́в, що стануть із вами: для Руви́ма — Еліцур, син Шедеурів;
6 from the tribe of Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;
для Симео́на — Шелуміїл, син Цурішаддаїв;
7 from the tribe of Judah, Nahshon son of Amminadab;
для Юди — Нахшон, син Аммінадавів;
8 from the tribe of Issachar, Nethanel son of Zuar;
для Іссаха́ра — Натанаїл, син Цуарів;
9 from the tribe of Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon;
для Завуло́на — Елів, син Хелонів;
10 from the tribe of Ephraim son of Joseph, Elishama son of Ammihud; from the tribe of Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;
для Йо́сипових синів, від Єфрема — Елішама, син Аммігудів; від Манасії — Гамаліїл, син Педацурів;
11 from the tribe of Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;
для Веніями́на — Авідан, син Ґід'оніїв;
12 from the tribe of Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;
для Да́на — Ахіезер, син Аммішаддаїв;
13 from the tribe of Asher, Pagiel son of Okran;
для Аси́ра — Паг'іїл, син Охранів;
14 from the tribe of Gad, Eliasaph son of Deuel;
для Ґада — Ел'ясаф, син Деуїлів;
15 and from the tribe of Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan.”
для Нефтали́ма — Ахіра, син Енанів.
16 These were the men appointed from the people. They led their ancestors' tribes. They were the leaders of the clans in Israel.
Оце покли́кані громади, начальники племен їхніх батьків. Вони голови тисяч Ізраїлевих.
17 Moses and Aaron took these men, who were recorded by name,
І взяв Мойсей та Ааро́н тих мужі́в, що були́ названі пойменно,
18 and along with these men they assembled all the men of Israel on the first day of the second month. Then each man twenty years old and older identified his ancestry. He had to name the clans and families descended from his ancestors.
і вони зібрали всю ту громаду першого дня другого місяця. І вони виявили родоводи свої за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти́ літ і вище, за го́ловами їх,
19 Then Moses recorded their numbers in the wilderness of Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him to do.
як Госпо́дь наказав був Мойсеєві. І він перелічив їх у Сінайській пустині.
20 From the descendants of Reuben, Israel's firstborn, were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
І було синів Руви́ма, перворідного Ізраїлевого, їхніх наща́дків за їхніми ро́дами, за дома́ми їхніх батьків числом імен за го́ловами їх, усіх чоловічої статі від віку двадцяти́ літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до ві́йська,
21 They counted 46,500 men from the tribe of Reuben.
перелічені їхні від Рувимового племені — сорок і шість тисяч і п'ятсот.
22 From the descendants of Simeon were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У Симеонових синів їхніх наща́дків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків пере́лік їх числом імен за головами їхніми, усі чоловічої статі від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
23 They counted 59,300 men from the tribe of Simeon.
перелічені їхні від Симеонового племени — п'ятдеся́т і дев'ять тисяч і триста.
24 From the descendants of Gad were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У Ґадових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
25 They counted 45,650 men from the tribe of Gad.
перелі́чені їхні від Ґадового племени — сорок і п'ять тисяч і шістсот і п'ятдесят.
26 From the descendants of Judah were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У Юдових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
27 They counted 74,600 men from the tribe of Judah.
перелі́чені їхні від Юдового племени — сімдеся́т і чотири тисячі й шістсот.
28 From the descendants of Issachar were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У Іссаха́рових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
29 They counted 54,400 men from the tribe of Issachar.
перелічені їхні від Іссаха́рового племени — п'ятдеся́т і чотири тисячі й чотириста.
30 From the descendants of Zebulun were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У Завуло́нових синів їхніх наща́дків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти́ літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
31 They counted 57,400 men from the tribe of Zebulun.
перелічені їхні від Завулонового племени — п'ятдеся́т і сім тисяч і чотириста.
32 From the descendants of Ephraim son of Joseph were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У Йо́сипових синів: у Єфремових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
33 They counted 40,500 men from the tribe of Ephraim.
перелічені їхні від Єфремового племени — сорок тисяч і п'ятсот.
34 From the descendants of Manasseh son of Joseph were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У синів Манасії їхніх наща́дків за їхніми ро́дами, за дома́ми їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до ві́йська,
35 They counted 32,200 men from the tribe of Manasseh.
перелічені їхні від племени Манасіїного — тридцять і дві тисячі й двісті.
36 From the descendants of Benjamin were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У Веніями́нових синів їхніх наща́дків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
37 They counted 35,400 men from the tribe of Benjamin.
перелічені їхні від Веніяминового племени — тридцять і п'ять тисяч і чоти́риста.
38 From the descendants of Dan were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У Да́нових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
39 They counted 62,700 from the tribe of Dan.
перелічені їхні від Данового племени — шістдеся́т і дві тисячі й сімсо́т.
40 From the descendants of Asher were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У Аси́рових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
41 They counted 41,500 men from the tribe of Asher.
перелічені їхні від Аси́рового племени, — сорок і одна тисяча й п'ятсо́т.
42 From the descendants of Naphtali were counted all the names of each and every man twenty years old or older able to go to war, from the records of their ancestor's clans and families.
У синів Нефтали́мових їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,
43 They counted 53,400 from the tribe of Naphtali.
перелічені їхні від племени Нефтали́мового — п'ятдеся́т і три тисячі й чотириста.
44 Moses and Aaron counted all these men, together with the twelve men who were leading the twelve tribes of Israel.
Оце ті перелічені, кого перелічив Мойсей й Ааро́н та Ізраїлеві начальники, дванадцятеро мужа, — вони були по одно́му мужеві для дому батьків своїх.
45 So all the men of Israel from twenty years old and older, all who could fight in war, were counted in each of their families.
І були всі перелічені з Ізраїлевих синів за домами батьків своїх від віку двадцяти́ літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська, в Ізраїлі,
46 They counted 603,550 men.
і були всі перелічені — шістсо́т тисяч і три тисячі й п'ятсот і п'ятдеся́т.
47 But the men who were descended from Levi were not counted,
А Левити не були перелічені серед них за племенем батьків своїх.
48 because Yahweh had said to Moses,
І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:
49 “You must not count the tribe of Levi or include them in the total of the people of Israel.
„Тільки Леві́євого племени не переглянеш і не перелічиш їх серед Ізраїлевих синів.
50 Instead, assign the Levites to care for the tabernacle of the covenant decrees, and to care for all the furnishings in the tabernacle and for everything in it. The Levites must carry the tabernacle, and they must carry the tabernacle's furnishings. They must care for the tabernacle and make their camp around it.
А ти постав Леви́тів нагля́дачами над скинією свідоцтва, і над усіма речами її та над усім, що її. Вони будуть носити скинію та всі її речі, і вони будуть обслуго́вувати її, і ота́боряться навко́ло скинії.
51 When the tabernacle is to move to another place, the Levites must take it down. When the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites must set it up. Any stranger who comes near the tabernacle must be killed.
А коли скинія буде руша́ти, Левити розберуть її, а коли буде спиня́тися скинія, Левити поставлять її. А якщо набли́зиться чужий, — він нехай буде забитий.
52 When the people of Israel set up their tents, each man must do so near the banner that belongs to his armed group.
І ота́боряться Ізраїлеві сини кожен у табо́рі своїм, і кожен при своїм пра́порі за своїми військо́вими відділами.
53 However, the Levites must set up their tents around the tabernacle of the covenant decrees so that my anger does not come upon the people of Israel. The Levites must care for the tabernacle of the covenant decrees.”
А Левити ота́боряться навко́ло скинії свідо́цтва, — щоб не було гніву на громаду Ізраїлевих синів. І будуть Левити виконувати сторо́жу скинії свідо́цтва“.
54 The people of Israel did all these things. They did everything that Yahweh commanded through Moses.
І зробили Ізраїлеві сини, — згідно зо всім, як наказав був Господь Мойсеєві, так зробили вони.
