Nehemiah 12
1 These were the priests and Levites who came up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and with Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
Inilah para imam dan orang-orang Lewi yang berangkat pulang bersama-sama Zerubabel bin Sealtiel dan Yesua: Seraya, Yeremia, Ezra,
2 Amariah, Malluk, Hattush,
Amarya, Malukh, Hatus,
3 Shecaniah, Rehum, and Meremoth.

4 There were Iddo, Ginnethon, Abijah,
Ido, Ginetoi, Abia,
5 Mijamin, Moadiah, Bilgah,
Miyamin, Maaja, Bilga,
6 Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
Semaya, Yoyarib, Yedaya,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, and Jedaiah. These were the leaders of the priests and their associates in the days of Jeshua.
Salu, Amok, Hilkia dan Yedaya. Itulah kepala-kepala imam dan saudara-saudara mereka pada zaman Yesua.
8 The Levites were Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who was in charge of the thanksgiving songs, along with his associates.
Dari orang-orang Lewi: Yesua, Binui, Kadmiel, Serebya, Yehuda dan Matanya. Matanya ini dan saudara-saudaranya memimpin nyanyian syukur,
9 Bakbukiah and Unni, their associates, stood opposite them during the service.

10 Jeshua was the father of Joiakim, Joiakim was the father of Eliashib, Eliashib was the father of Joiada,

17 Zichri was the leader of Abijah. ... of Miniamin. Piltai was the leader of Moadiah.

18 Shammua was the leader of Bilgah, Jehonathan was the leader of Shemaiah,
Samua dari kaum keluarga Bilga, Yonatan dari kaum keluarga Semaya,
19 Mattenai was the leader of Joiarib, Uzzi was the leader of Jedaiah,
Matnai dari kaum keluarga Yoyarib, Uzi dari kaum keluarga Yedaya,
20 Kallai was the leader of Sallu, Eber was the leader of Amok,
Kalai dari kaum keluarga Salai, Heber dari kaum keluarga Amok,
21 Hashabiah was the leader of Hilkiah, and Nethanel was the leader of Jedaiah.
Hasabya dari kaum keluarga Hilkia dan Netaneel dari kaum keluarga Yedaya.
22 In the days of Eliashib, the Levites Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan, and Jaddua were recorded as the heads of families, and the priests were recorded during the reign of Darius the Persian.
Tentang orang-orang Lewi, para kepala kaum keluarga mereka tercatat pada zaman Elyasib, Yoyada, Yohanan dan Yadua, sedang para imam tercatat sampai pemerintahan Darius, orang Persia itu.
23 The descendants of Levi, their leaders of families were recorded in the book of the annals up to the days of Johanan son of Eliashib.
Kepala-kepala kaum keluarga anak-anak Lewi tercatat dalam kitab sejarah sampai zaman Yohanan bin Elyasib.
24 The leaders of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, with their associates, who stood opposite them to give praise and to give thanks, responding section by section, in obedience to the command of David, the man of God.
Inilah para kepala orang-orang Lewi: Hasabya, Serebya, Yesua bin Kadmiel, dan saudara-saudara mereka yang berdiri di hadapan mereka untuk menyanyikan puji-pujian dan syukur sesuai dengan perintah Daud, abdi Allah itu, kelompok di samping kelompok.
25 Mattaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, and Akkub were gatekeepers standing guard at the storerooms by the gates.
Matanya, Bakbukya, Obaja, Mesulam, Talmon dan Akub adalah penunggu-penunggu pintu gerbang yang mengadakan penjagaan di gudang-gudang perlengkapan pada pintu-pintu gerbang.
26 They served in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor and of Ezra the priest and scribe.
Mereka itu hidup pada zaman Yoyakim bin Yesua bin Yozadak dan pada zaman bupati Nehemia dan imam Ezra, ahli kitab itu.
27 At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, the people sought out the Levites wherever they lived, to bring them to Jerusalem to celebrate the dedication with joy, with thanksgivings and singing with cymbals, harps, and with lyres.
Pada pentahbisan tembok Yerusalem orang-orang Lewi dipanggil dari segala tempat mereka dan dibawa ke Yerusalem untuk mengadakan pentahbisan yang meriah dengan ucapan syukur dan kidung, dengan ceracap, gambus dan kecapi.
28 The fellowship of singers gathered together from the district around Jerusalem and from the villages of the Netophathites.
Maka berkumpullah kaum penyanyi dari daerah sekitar Yerusalem, dari desa-desa orang Netofa,
29 They also came from Beth Gilgal and from the fields of Geba and Azmaveth, for the singers had built for themselves villages around Jerusalem.
dari Bet-Gilgal, dari padang Geba dan Asmawet, karena para penyanyi itu telah mendirikan desa-desa sekitar Yerusalem.
30 The priests and the Levites purified themselves, and then they purified the people, the gates, and the wall.
Para imam dan orang-orang Lewi mentahirkan dirinya, lalu mentahirkan seluruh umat itu, dan kemudian pintu-pintu gerbang dan tembok.
31 Then I had the leaders of Judah go up to the top of the wall, and I appointed two large choirs who gave thanks. One went to the right on the wall toward the Dung Gate.
Lalu aku mempersilakan para pemimpin orang Yehuda naik ke atas tembok dan kubentuk dua paduan suara yang besar. Yang satu berarak ke kanan di atas tembok ke jurusan pintu gerbang Sampah.
32 Hoshaiah and half the leaders of Judah followed them,
Di belakangnya berjalanlah Hosaya dengan sebagian dari para pemimpin orang Yehuda,
33 and after them went Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam,
pula Azarya, Ezra, Mesulam,
34 Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, Jeremiah,
Yehuda, Benyamin, Semaya dan Yeremia,
35 and some of the priests' sons with trumpets, and Zechariah son of Jonathan son of Shemaiah son of Mattaniah son of Micaiah son of Zaccur son of Asaph.
dan dari kaum imam yang memegang nafiri: Zakharia bin Yonatan bin Semaya bin Matanya bin Mikha bin Zakur bin Asaf,
36 There also were Zechariah's relatives, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God. Ezra the scribe was in front of them.
dan saudara-saudaranya, yakni: Semaya, Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Netaneel, Yehuda dan Hanani dengan bunyi-bunyian Daud, abdi Allah itu, sedang Ezra, ahli kitab itu berjalan di depan mereka.
37 By the Fountain Gate they went straight up on the stairs of the city of David, by the stairway to the wall above David's palace, to the Water Gate on the east.
Lalu pada pintu gerbang Mata Air mereka langsung naik tangga-tangga kota Daud, pada jalan pendakian tembok, lewat istana Daud, dan berjalan sampai pintu gerbang Air, di sebelah Timur.
38 The other choir of those who gave thanks went in the other direction. I followed them on the wall with half the people, above the Tower of Ovens, to the Broad Wall,
Dan paduan suara yang kedua berarak ke kiri dan aku mengikutinya dengan sebagian dari orang-orang itu melalui tembok dan menara Perapian sampai tembok Lebar.
39 and above the Gate of Ephraim, and by the Old Gate, and by the Fish Gate and the Tower of Hananel and the Tower of the Hundred, to the Sheep Gate, and they stopped at the Gate of the Guard.
Lalu kami melalui pintu gerbang Efraim, pintu gerbang Lama, pintu gerbang Ikan, menara Hananeel dan menara Mea sampai pintu gerbang Domba. Mereka berhenti di pintu gerbang Penjagaan.
40 So both choirs of those who gave thanks took their place in the house of God, and I also took my place with half of the officials with me.
Kemudian kedua paduan suara itu berdiri di rumah Allah. Demikian juga aku bersama-sama sebagian dari para penguasa,
41 Then the priests took their place: Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with the trumpets,
dan para imam, yakni: Elyakim, Maaseya, Minyamin, Mikha, Elyoenai, Zakharia, Hananya dengan memegang nafiri,
42 and also Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer, and the singers made themselves heard and Jezrahiah was their leader.
dan Maaseya, Semaya, Eleazar, Uzi, Yohanan, Malkia, Elam dan Ezer. Lalu para penyanyi memperdengarkan kidung di bawah pimpinan Yizrahya.
43 They offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy. Also the women and the children rejoiced. So the joy of Jerusalem could be heard far away.
Pada hari itu mereka mempersembahkan korban yang besar. Mereka bersukaria karena Allah memberi mereka kesukaan yang besar. Juga segala perempuan dan anak-anak bersukaria, sehingga kesukaan Yerusalem terdengar sampai jauh.
44 On that day men were appointed to be in charge of the storerooms for the contributions, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them the portions required by the law for the priests and for the Levites. Each was assigned to work the fields near the towns. For Judah rejoiced over the priests and the Levites who were standing before them.
Pada masa itu beberapa orang diangkat untuk mengawasi bilik-bilik perbendaharaan, bilik-bilik untuk persembahan khusus, untuk hasil pertama dan untuk persembahan persepuluhan, supaya sumbangan yang menurut hukum menjadi bagian para imam dan orang-orang Lewi dikumpulkan di bilik-bilik itu sesuai dengan ladang setiap kota. Sebab Yehuda bersukacita karena para imam dan orang-orang Lewi yang bertugas.
45 They performed the service of their God, and the service of purification, and so did the singers and the gatekeepers, in keeping with the command of David and of Solomon his son.
Karena merekalah yang melakukan tugas pelayanan bagi Allah mereka dan tugas pentahiran, demikian juga para penyanyi dan para penunggu pintu gerbang, sesuai dengan perintah Daud dan Salomo, anaknya.
46 For long ago, in the days of David and Asaph, there were directors of singers, and there were songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.
Karena sudah sejak dahulu, pada zaman Daud dan Asaf, ada pemimpin-pemimpin penyanyi, ada nyanyian pujian dan nyanyian syukur bagi Allah.
47 In the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah, all Israel gave the daily portions for the singers and the gatekeepers. They set aside the portion that was for the Levites, and the Levites set aside a portion for the descendants of Aaron.
Pada zaman Zerubabel dan Nehemia semua orang Israel memberikan sumbangan bagi para penyanyi dan para penunggu pintu gerbang sekadar yang perlu tiap-tiap hari dan mempersembahkan persembahan kudus kepada orang-orang Lewi. Dan orang-orang Lewi mempersembahkan persembahan kudus kepada anak-anak Harun.
