Nehemiah 11
1 The leaders of the people lived in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people cast lots to bring one of ten to live in Jerusalem, the holy city, and the other nine remained in other towns.
ജനനായകന്മാർ ജെറുശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചു; ശേഷംജനം, പത്തിലൊരാൾവീതം വിശുദ്ധനഗരമായ ജെറുശലേമിൽ പാർക്കേണ്ടതു തീരുമാനിക്കാൻ നറുക്കിട്ടു; മറ്റുള്ള ഒൻപതുപേരും അവരവരുടെ പട്ടണത്തിൽ താമസിച്ചു.
2 Then the people blessed all those who willingly offered to live in Jerusalem.
ജെറുശലേമിൽ താമസിക്കാൻ സന്നദ്ധത കാട്ടിയവരെ ജനം പുകഴ്ത്തി.
3 These are the provincial officials who lived in Jerusalem. However, in the towns of Judah everyone lived on his own land, including some Israelites, priests, Levites, temple servants, and descendants of Solomon's servants.

4 In Jerusalem lived some of the descendants of Judah and some of the descendants of Benjamin. The people from Judah included: Athaiah son of Uzziah son of Zechariah son of Amariah son of Shephatiah son of Mahalalel, a descendant of Perez.
എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദരും ബെന്യാമീന്യരുമായ മറ്റുചിലർ ജെറുശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചു): യെഹൂദയുടെ പിൻഗാമികളിൽനിന്നും: ഫേരെസിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ, മഹലലേലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെഫത്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ അമര്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ സെഖര്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഉസ്സീയാവിന്റെ മകൻ അഥായാവ്;
5 There was Maaseiah son of Baruch son of Kol-Hozeh son of Hazaiah son of Adaiah son of Joiarib son of Zechariah, the son of the Shilonite.
ശേലഹ്യന്റെ പിൻതലമുറയിൽ സെഖര്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യൊയാരീബിന്റെ മകനായ അദായാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഹസായാവിന്റെ മകനായ കൊൽ-ഹോസെയുടെ മകനായ ബാരൂക്കിന്റെ മകൻ മയസേയാവ്.
6 All the sons of Perez who lived in Jerusalem were 468. They were outstanding men.
ഫേരെസിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളായി ആകെ 468 പരാക്രമശാലികൾ ആയിരുന്നു ജെറുശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
7 These are the descendants of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam son of Joed son of Pedaiah son of Kolaiah son of Maaseiah son of Ithiel son of Jeshaiah,
ബെന്യാമീന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളിൽനിന്ന്: യെശയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഇഥീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ മയസേയാവിന്റെ മകനായ കോലായാവിന്റെ മകനായ പെദായാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോവേദിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ സല്ലൂ;
8 and those following him, Gabbai and Sallai, 928 men.

9 Joel son of Zichri was their overseer, and Judah son of Hassenuah was second in command over the city.

10 From the priests: Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jakin,

12 and their associates who did the work for the house, 822 men, along with Adaiah son of Jeroham son of Pelaliah son of Amzi son of Zechariah son of Pashhur son of Malchijah.

13 His brothers were heads of clans, 242 men; and Amashsai son of Azarel son of Ahzai son of Meshillemoth son of Immer,

14 and their brothers, 128 courageous fighting men; their overseer was Zabdiel son of Haggedolim.

15 From the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub son of Azrikam son of Hashabiah son of Bunni,

16 and Shabbethai and Jozabad, who were from the leaders of the Levites and were in charge of the outside work of the house of God.
ലേവ്യരുടെ തലവന്മാരും ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ പുറമേയുള്ള വേലയ്ക്കു ചുമതലപ്പെട്ടവരുമായ ശബ്ബെഥായിയും യോസാബാദും;
17 There was Mattaniah son of Mika son of Zabdi, a descendant of Asaph, who was the director who began the thanksgiving in prayer, and Bakbukiah, the second among his brothers, and Abda son of Shammua son of Galal son of Jeduthun.

18 All the Levites in the holy city numbered 284.

19 The gatekeepers: Akkub, Talmon, and their associates, who kept watch at the gates, 172 men.
വാതിൽകാവൽക്കാർ: അക്കൂബും തല്മോനും കവാടങ്ങൾക്കു കാവൽനിൽക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ കൂട്ടാളികളും, ഇവരെല്ലാവരുംകൂടി 172 പേർ.
20 The remainder of Israel and of the priests and the Levites were in all the towns of Judah. Everyone lived on his own inherited property.
ശേഷം ഇസ്രായേല്യർ ഓരോരുത്തരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ലേവ്യരോടുംചേർന്ന് യെഹൂദ്യയിലെ അവരവരുടെ അവകാശഭൂമിയിലെ ഓരോ പട്ടണത്തിലും താമസിച്ചു.
21 The temple workers lived in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa were in charge of them.
ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാർ ഓഫേലിൽക്കുന്നിൽ താമസിച്ചു; സീഹയും ഗിശ്പയും അവർക്കു മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിച്ചു.
22 The chief officer over the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani son of Hashabiah son of Mattaniah son of Mika, of the descendants of Asaph, singers over the work in the house of God.
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽ സംഗീതശുശ്രൂഷയുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വം വഹിച്ചിരുന്ന ആസാഫിന്റെ പിൻതലമുറയിൽപ്പെട്ട ഒരുവനും മീഖായുടെ മകനായ മത്ഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഹശബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ബാനിയുടെ മകൻ ഉസ്സി ആയിരുന്നു ജെറുശലേമിൽ ലേവ്യരുടെ അധിപതി.
23 They were under orders from the king, and firm orders were given for the singers as every day required.
രാജകൽപ്പന അനുസരിച്ചായിരുന്നു സംഗീതജ്ഞരുടെ ദിനംതോറുമുള്ള ശുശ്രൂഷകൾ ക്രമീകരിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
24 Then Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, a descendant of Zerah son of Judah, was at the king's side in all matters concerning the people.
യെഹൂദയുടെ മകനായ സേരഹിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളിൽ ഒരാളായ മെശേസബെലിന്റെ മകനായ പെഥഹ്യാവ് ജനങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ച എല്ലാ കാര്യത്തിലും രാജാവിന്റെ പ്രതിനിധിയായിരുന്നു.
25 As for the villages and their fields, some of the people of Judah lived in Kiriath Arba and its villages, and in Dibon and its villages, and in Jekabzeel and its villages,

28 Some of the people of Judah lived in Ziklag, Mekonah and its villages,

29 Enrimmon, Zorah, Jarmuth,

30 Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, and in Lachish its fields and Azekah and its villages. So they lived from Beersheba to the Valley of Hinnom.

31 The people of Benjamin also lived from Geba onward, at Mikmash and Aija, at Bethel and its villages,
