30 We promised that we would not give our daughters to the people of the land or take their daughters for our sons.
y que no daríamos nuestras hijas a los pueblos de la tierra, ni tomaríamos sus hijas para nuestros hijos;
31 We also promised that if the people of the land bring goods or any grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we would not buy from them on the Sabbath or on any holy day. Every seventh year we will let our fields rest, and we will cancel all debts.
y que si los pueblos de la tierra trajeran mercancías o algún grano en el día de reposo para vender, no les compraríamos en el día de reposo, ni en un día santo; y que renunciaríamos a las cosechas del séptimo año y a la exacción de toda deuda.
32 We accepted the commands to give a third of a shekel each year for the service of the house of our God,
Además, nos hemos impuesto la obligación de cobrar anualmente la tercera parte de un siclo para el servicio de la casa de nuestro Dios:
33 to provide for the bread of the presence, and for the regular grain offering, the burnt offerings on the Sabbaths, the new moon festivals and appointed feasts, and for the holy offerings, and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, as well as for all the work of the house of our God.
para el pan de la proposición, para la ofrenda continua, para el holocausto continuo, para los sábados, para las lunas nuevas, para las fiestas, para las cosas santas, para las ofrendas por el pecado para hacer expiación por Israel, y para toda la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios.
34 The priests, the Levites, and the people cast lots for the wood offering. The lots would select which of our families would bring wood into the house of our God at the appointed times each year, to be burned on the altar of Yahweh our God, as it is written in the law.
Nosotros, los sacerdotes, los levitas y el pueblo, echamos suertes sobre la ofrenda de leña, para traerla a la casa de nuestro Dios, según las casas de nuestros padres, en los tiempos señalados de año en año, para quemarla en el altar de Yahvé nuestro Dios, como está escrito en la ley;
35 We promised to bring to the house of Yahweh the firstfruits grown from our soil, and the firstfruits of every tree each year.
y para traer las primicias de nuestra tierra y las primicias de todos los frutos de toda clase de árboles, de año en año, a la casa de Yahvé;
36 As it is written in the law, we promised to bring to the house of God and to the priests who serve there, the firstborn of our sons and of our herds and flocks.
también los primogénitos de nuestros hijos y de nuestros ganados, como está escrito en la ley, y los primogénitos de nuestras vacas y de nuestros rebaños, para llevarlos a la casa de nuestro Dios, a los sacerdotes que sirven en la casa de nuestro Dios
37 We will bring the first of our dough and our grain offerings, and the fruit of every tree, and the new wine and the oil we will bring to the priests, to the storerooms of the house of our God. We will bring to the Levites the tithes from our soil because the Levites collect the tithes in all the towns where we work.
y que traigamos las primicias de nuestra masa, nuestras ofrendas de ondas, el fruto de toda clase de árboles, el vino nuevo y el aceite, a los sacerdotes, a las salas de la casa de nuestro Dios; y los diezmos de nuestra tierra a los levitas; porque ellos, los levitas, toman los diezmos en todas nuestras aldeas agrícolas.
38 A priest, a descendant of Aaron, must be with the Levites when they receive the tithes. The Levites must bring a tenth of the tithes to the house of our God to the storerooms of the treasury.
El sacerdote, descendiente de Aarón, estará con los levitas cuando éstos tomen los diezmos. Los levitas llevarán el diezmo de los diezmos a la casa de nuestro Dios, a las habitaciones, a la casa del tesoro.
39 For the people of Israel and the descendants of Levi are to bring the contributions of grain, new wine, and oil to the storerooms where the articles of the sanctuary are kept and where the priests who are serving, and the gatekeepers, and the singers stay. We will not neglect the house of our God.
Porque los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Leví llevarán la ofrenda mecida del grano, del vino nuevo y del aceite, a las habitaciones donde están los utensilios del santuario y los sacerdotes que ministran, con los porteros y los cantores. No abandonaremos la casa de nuestro Dios.
