< Matthew 6 >

1 Take heed that you do not do your acts of righteousness before people to be seen by them, or else you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
Uyenyaje ungandi abhombe imbo inyinza hubhantu ili huyilolesye, subhapate ifaida hwa Dada uwahumwanya.
2 So when you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before yourself as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have the praise of people. Truly I say to you, they have received their reward.
Ishi nufumya isadaka usahayitufye sana usahabhe ndeshe abhanafiki shebhabhomba mumasinagogi na mumitaa, nkaabhantu bhabhatime semubhapae ifaida nkiimo.
3 But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
Lelo awe lufumya ukhona gwaho ugwa humongo gusahamanye sheshibhombeha hundilo,
4 so that your gift may be given in secret. Then your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
ili huje isadaka yaho ufumye hu siri. Nkhu Udada waho yalola muhati abhalupele ithawabu yaho.
5 When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners, so that they may be seen by people. Truly I say to you, they have received their reward.
Na luputa usahabhe, udeshe anafiki, pipo abhene bhasungwa ahwimilile na pute, mumasinagogi na mukona izya mukhaya zyabho nka abhantu bha bhenye. Lelo ihumbabhuzya bhapite ithawabu yabho.
6 But you, when you pray, enter your inner chamber. Shut the door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
Awe luputa injila hu hati ufunje ulwiji upuute hwa Daada uwamumwoyo udaada ya lola muhati asipele ithawabu yaho.
7 When you pray, do not make useless repetitions as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words.
Nu puta ungandi pyanile inongwa zyesezili ni maana, ndeshe abhamunsi shebhabhomba pipo bhasibha abhantu bhabhahubhiuvwe pipo bhayanga inongwa inyinji.
8 Therefore, do not be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him.
Ishi usahabhe ndeshe abhene pipo uDada aminye uhwanza henu shusile alabhe hukwakwe.
9 Therefore pray like this: 'Our Father in heaven, may your name be sanctified.
Uputaje ishi: Dada witu uwahumwanya itawa lyaho lyimishilwaje.
10 May your kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Ubhumwini waho winze, ulugano lwaho lubhombeshe pansi na humwanya.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
Utipele ishalye shitu insiku zyonti.
12 Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Utukhobhoshele amalando gitu, ndeati shetihubhakhobhoshela abhimalando bhitu.
13 Do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'
Usahatipe injelo, utidime nu setano.
14 For if you forgive people their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Nkemwabhakhobhoshela abhantu amalando gabho, Udada winyu uwahumwanya abhahubhakhobhoshele namwi.
15 But if you do not forgive their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Nkushe mubhabhakhobhoshele abhantu Udada abhabhakhobhoshele makosa ginyu.
16 When you fast, do not have a mournful face as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces so that they may appear to people as fasting. Truly I say to you, they have received their reward.
Hu gonti, lufunga usahalolesye uzugunizu humaso ndeshe abhanafiki shebhabhomba bhazugumila humiso nke abhantu bhamanye aje bhafunjile. Lyooli ihubhuzya bhapite ithawabu yabho.
17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
Lelo, lufunga pahala amafuta hwitwe lyaho uyoje hunaso.
18 so that it would not appear to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret, will reward you.
Subhaloleshe humaso gabhantu aje ufunjile, u Ngulubhi mweene yabhamanye Udada yamanya muhati abhahupele ithawabu yaho.
19 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
Usahabhishe amali gaho munsi umu zinanjiha na bhole na bhibha bhahwibha.
20 Instead, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Badala yakwe, abhishe amali gaho hwa Ngulubhi, sibhahwibha, sigabhola wa segananjiha.
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Pipo amali gaho pegali umwoyo waho pebhubhabhe.
22 The eye is the lamp of the body. Therefore, if your eye is good, the whole body is filled with light.
Ilinso lukhozyo lwi bili. Nkushele, ilyinso lyaho lyumi ubili wonti, bhubhabhe nulukhozyo.
23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body is full of darkness. Therefore, if the light that is in you is actually darkness, how great is that darkness!
Nkushele ilyinso lyaho lifwiye, ubili waho wonti bhuli hisi haani. Ishi nkulukhozyo lweluli muhati muliwe hisi ahagosi ndeshe bhuli!
24 No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
Numo nka weka yangabha na lume bha bhili, pipo abhahunvitwe unu na hugane uwinji lumo abhahwepe hwunu abhahu sufye uwinji. Hamuwezi kumtumikia Mungu na mali.
25 Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink—or about your body, what you will wear. For is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
Ishi ihuhabhe nu sanje ahusu amaisha gaho aje ubhalyeshi, ubhamweleshi, ahusu ubili waho ubhakwate shi! Amaisha se haani yi shalye ubili haani yi meenda?
26 Look at the birds in the air. They do not sow or reap or gather into barns, but your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they are?
Enya inyonyi zyezipuluha humwanya. Saazitota sazivunza sazibhunganya na bhishe mushanka, lelo Udada uwahumwanya ahuzilisya. Je amwisemulibhi maana hani kuliko inyonyi?
27 Which one of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his lifespan?
Weemu hulimwe uwahuyitamye ankayonjezya idhiraa yeka huwomi wimaisha gakwe?
28 Why are you anxious about clothing? Think about the lilies in the fields, how they grow. They do not work, and they do not spin cloth.
Ye enu mubha musaga aje yibhakwate nshi? Msubhilile amaua mmashamba shegabha segabhomba imbombo segahuyikwatizya.
29 Yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these.
Bado ihumbabhuzya hata yu Sulemani nu tuntumu wakwe saga ahakwatiziwilwe mojawapo yiga.
30 If God so clothes the grass in the fields, which exists today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, you of little faith?
Nkushele Ungulubhi ahugakwatizya amasole agamumagunda, gegakhala isiku lyeka ni ndabhi gatagwa mumwoto je bhulibhuli angabhakwatizya amwi mwemuli nulwitiho uludodo?
31 Therefore do not be anxious and say, 'What will we eat?' or, 'What will we drink?' or, 'What clothes will we wear?'
Eshi musahasaje aje, 'Je tibhalyeshi?' au “Je tibhamweleshi?” au “Je tibhakhwate menda bhuli?”
32 For the Gentiles search for these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
Pipo abhinsi bhahuganza amambo iga, nu Dada winyu uwahumwanya aminye aje muhuganza igo.
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you.
Ishi nasuti mwanze ubhumwini wakwe ni lyoli yakwe nigo gonta gabhahwonjeleshe huliwe.
34 Therefore, do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day has enough evil of its own.
Ishi usahalole usahasaje kwa ajili yi ndabhi, pipo indabhi zibhamanyishe hunuhwo. Isiku lyolyonti likwiliye hwi tatizizo lyakwe.
