< Matthew 28 >

1 Now late on the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
Ní kùtùkùtù òwúrọ̀ ọjọ́ kìn-ín-ní ọ̀sẹ̀, bí ilẹ̀ ti ń mọ́, Maria Magdalene àti Maria kejì lọ sí ibojì.
2 Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, came and rolled away the stone, and sat on it.
Wọ́n rí i pé, ìṣẹ̀lẹ̀ ńlá ṣẹ̀ tí ó mú gbogbo ilẹ̀ mì tìtì. Nítorí angẹli Olúwa ti sọ̀kalẹ̀ láti ọ̀run. Ó ti yí òkúta ibojì kúrò. Ó sì jókòó lé e lórí.
3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.
Ojú rẹ̀ tàn bí mọ̀nàmọ́ná. Aṣọ rẹ̀ sì jẹ́ funfun bí ẹ̀gbọ̀n òwú.
4 The guards shook with fear and became like dead men.
Ẹ̀rù ba àwọn olùṣọ́, wọ́n sì wárìrì wọn sì dàbí òkú.
5 The angel addressed the women and said to them, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.
Nígbà náà ni angẹli náà wí fún àwọn obìnrin náà pé, “Ẹ má ṣe bẹ̀rù. Mo mọ̀ pé ẹ̀yin ń wá Jesu tí a kàn mọ́ àgbélébùú.
6 He is not here, but is risen, just as he said. Come see the place where the Lord lay.
Ṣùgbọ́n kò sí níhìn-ín. Nítorí pé ó ti jíǹde, gẹ́gẹ́ bí òun ti wí. Ẹ wọlé wá wo ibi ti wọ́n tẹ́ ẹ sí.
7 Go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has risen from the dead. See, he is going ahead of you to Galilee. There you will see him.' See, I have told you.”
Nísinsin yìí, ẹ lọ kíákíá láti sọ fún àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ pé, ‘Ó ti jíǹde kúrò nínú òkú. Àti pé òun ń lọ sí Galili síwájú yín, níbẹ̀ ni ẹ̀yin yóò gbé rí i,’ wò ó, o ti sọ fún yin.”
8 The women quickly left the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.
Àwọn obìnrin náà sáré kúrò ní ibojì pẹ̀lú ìbẹ̀rù àti ayọ̀ ńlá. Wọ́n sáré láti sọ fún àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn nípa ìròyìn tí angẹli náà fi fún wọn.
9 Behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” The women came, took hold of his feet and worshiped him.
Bí wọ́n ti ń sáré lọ lójijì Jesu pàdé wọn. Ó wí pé, “Àlàáfíà”, wọ́n wólẹ̀ níwájú rẹ̀. Wọ́n gbá a ní ẹsẹ̀ mú. Wọ́n sì foríbalẹ̀ fún un.
10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to leave for Galilee. There they will see me.”
Nígbà náà, Jesu wí fún wọn pé, “Ẹ má ṣe bẹ̀rù. Ẹ lọ sọ fún àwọn arákùnrin mi pé, ‘Kí wọ́n lọ tààrà sí Galili níbẹ̀ ni wọn yóò gbé rí mi.’”
11 Now while the women were going, behold, some of the guards went into the city and told the chief priests all the things that had happened.
Bí àwọn obìnrin náà sì ti ń lọ sí ìlú, díẹ̀ nínú àwọn olùṣọ́ tí wọ́n ti ń ṣọ́ ibojì lọ sọ́dọ̀ àwọn olórí àlùfáà.
12 When the priests had met with the elders and discussed the matter with them, they gave a large amount of money to the soldiers
Wọ́n sì pe ìpàdé àwọn àgbàgbà Júù. Wọ́n sì fohùn ṣọ̀kan láti fi owó àbẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ fún àwọn olùṣọ́.
13 and told them, “Say to others, 'Jesus' disciples came by night and stole his body while we were sleeping.'
Wọ́n wí pé, “Ẹ sọ fún àwọn ènìyàn pé, ‘Gbogbo yín sùn nígbà tí àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn Jesu wá lóru láti jí òkú rẹ̀.’
14 If this report reaches the governor, we will persuade him and take any worries away from you.”
Bí Pilatu bá sì mọ̀ nípa rẹ̀, àwa yóò ṣe àlàyé tí yóò tẹ́ ẹ lọ́rùn fún un, tí ọ̀rọ̀ náà kì yóò fi lè kó bá yín.”
15 So the soldiers took the money and did as they had been instructed. This report spread widely among the Jews and continues even today.
Àwọn olùṣọ́ sì gba owó náà. Wọ́n sì ṣe gẹ́gẹ́ bí wọ́n ti darí wọn. Ìtàn yìí sì tàn ká kíákíá láàrín àwọn Júù. Wọ́n sì gba ìtàn náà gbọ́ títí di òní yìí.
16 But the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.
Nígbà náà ni àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn mọ́kànlá náà lọ sí Galili ní orí òkè níbi tí Jesu sọ pé wọn yóò ti rí òun.
17 When they saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted.
Nígbà tí wọ́n sì rí i, wọ́n foríbalẹ̀ fún un. Ṣùgbọ́n díẹ̀ nínú wọn ṣe iyèméjì bóyá Jesu ni tàbí òun kọ́.
18 Jesus came to them and spoke to them and said, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
Nígbà náà ni Jesu wí fún àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ pé, “Gbogbo agbára ni ọ̀run àti ní ayé ni a ti fi fún mi.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations. Baptize them into the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Nítorí náà, ẹ lọ, ẹ sọ wọ́n di ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn orílẹ̀-èdè gbogbo, ẹ máa bamitiisi wọn ní orúkọ Baba àti ti Ọmọ àti ti Ẹ̀mí Mímọ́.
20 Teach them to obey all the things that I have commanded you. See, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (aiōn g165)
Ẹ kọ́ wọn láti máa kíyèsi ohun gbogbo èyí tí mo ti pàṣẹ fún yín. Nítorí èmi wà pẹ̀lú yín ní ìgbà gbogbo títí tí ó fi dé òpin ayé.” (aiōn g165)
