< Mark 7 >
1 The Pharisees and some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around him.
ⲁ̅ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲅⲣⲁⲙⲙⲁⲧⲉⲩⲥ ⲉⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲥⲟⲗⲩⲙⲁ
2 They saw that some of his disciples ate bread with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed.
ⲃ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲩⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲉⲓⲁⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ
3 (For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands, because they hold to the tradition of the elders.
ⲅ̅ⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲛⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲧⲙⲓⲁⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉⲩⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ
4 When the Pharisees come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they bathe themselves, and they hold fast to many other traditions, such as the washing of cups, pots, copper vessels, and the couches upon which they eat.)
ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲩϣⲁⲛⲉⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲅⲟⲣⲁ ⲉⲩⲧⲙϭⲉϣϭⲱϣⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲕⲉⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲁⲩϫⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲉⲛⲁⲡⲟⲧ ⲉϩⲟⲣⲡⲟⲩ ⲛⲙϩⲉⲛⲝⲉⲥⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲙϩⲉⲛⲭⲁⲗⲕⲓⲛ
5 The Pharisees and the scribes asked Jesus, “Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, for they eat their bread with unwashed hands?”
ⲉ̅ⲁⲩϫⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲅⲣⲁⲙⲙⲁⲧⲉⲩⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲕⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲥⲉⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲧⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲩⲟⲓⲕ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲧⲟⲗⲙ
6 But he said to them, “Isaiah prophesied well about you hypocrites. He wrote, 'This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
ⲋ̅ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲗⲱⲥ ⲁⲏⲥⲁⲓⲁⲥ ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲩⲉ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲛ ⲛϩⲩⲡⲟⲕⲣⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲉⲧϥⲥⲏϩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲧⲟⲥ ⲧⲙⲁⲓⲟ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲥⲡⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ
7 Empty worship they offer me, teaching the rules of men as their doctrines.'
ⲍ̅ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛϫⲏ ⲉⲩϯ ⲥⲃⲱ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲥⲃⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲣⲣⲱⲙⲉ
8 You abandon the commandment of God and hold fast to the tradition of men.”
ⲏ̅ⲉⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲕⲱ ⲛⲥⲱⲧⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲛⲙⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲣⲣⲱⲙⲉ
9 He also said to them, “How well you reject the commandment of God so you may keep your tradition!
ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲗⲱⲥ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲑⲉⲧⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲉϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ
10 For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'He who speaks evil of his father or mother will surely die.'
ⲓ̅ⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲧⲁⲓⲉⲡⲉⲕⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲙ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲁⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϫⲓϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉϥϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲁⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲏ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲁⲩ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ
11 But you say, 'If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever help you would have received from me is Corban”' (that is to say, 'Given to God'),
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲛϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲏ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲕⲟⲣⲃⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲕϣⲁⲛϯϩⲏⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲏⲧ
12 then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or his mother.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲙⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲕⲁⲁϥ ϭⲉ ⲉⲣⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲏ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲁⲩ
13 You are making the commandment of God void by your tradition which you have handed down. And many similar things you do.”
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲧⲥⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲧⲁⲁⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲕⲉϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲧⲛⲧⲱⲛ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ
14 He called the crowd again and said to them, “Listen to me, all of you, and understand.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲣⲟⲉⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲧⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲛⲟⲉⲓ
15 There is nothing from outside of a person that can defile him when it enters into him. It is what comes out of the person that defiles him.”
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲙⲙⲛⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϥⲙⲡⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉϥⲛⲁϣϫⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲧϫⲱϩⲙ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ
17 Now when Jesus left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about the parable.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲕⲁⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲏⲉⲓ ⲁⲩϫⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲧⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ
18 Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? Do you not see that whatever enters into a person from outside cannot defile him,
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲟ ⲛⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ϩⲓⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲛⲟⲉⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛⲕⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉϥⲙⲡⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛϥⲛⲁϣϫⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ⲁⲛ
19 because it cannot go into his heart, but it goes into his stomach and then passes out into the latrine?” With this statement Jesus declared all foods clean.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲃⲏⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲫⲏⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲃⲏⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲡⲙⲁ ⲛⲣⲙⲏ ⲉϥⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲓⲍⲉ ⲛⲛϭⲓⲛⲟⲩⲟⲟⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ
20 He said, “It is that which comes out of the person that defiles him.
ⲕ̅ⲛⲉϥϫⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲉϣⲁϥϫⲁϩⲙ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ
21 For from within a person, out of the heart, proceed evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder,
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲉϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓ ϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲣⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲙⲙⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲟⲣⲛⲉⲓⲁ ϩⲉⲛϫⲓⲟⲩⲉ
22 adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, folly.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ϩⲉⲛϩⲱⲧⲃ ϩⲉⲛⲙⲛⲧⲛⲟⲉⲓⲕ ϩⲉⲛⲙⲛⲧⲙⲁⲓ ⲧⲟ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲟⲛⲏⲣⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉϥϫⲱϩⲙ ⲟⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲉϥϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲟⲩⲁ ⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧϫⲁⲥⲓϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ
23 All these evils come from within, and they are what defile a person.”
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓ ϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲩϫⲱϩⲙ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ
24 He got up from there and went away to the region of Tyre and Sidon. There he went into a house and he wanted no one to know where he was, but he could not be hidden.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲡⲱⲱⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲛⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲙⲥⲓⲇⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲏⲉⲓ ⲙⲡϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉϣϩⲱⲡ
25 In fact, as soon a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him, she came and fell down at his feet.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲥⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲏⲧϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲩⲛⲧⲥⲟⲩϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲧⲟⲛ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲥ ⲁⲥⲉⲓ ⲁⲥⲡⲁϩⲧⲥ ϩⲁⲣⲁⲧϥ
26 Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by descent. She begged him to cast out the demon from her daughter.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲉⲗⲗⲏⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲣⲣⲙⲧⲉⲫⲟⲓⲛⲓⲕⲏ ⲛⲧⲥⲩⲣⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲛⲉϫⲡⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓ ⲧⲉⲥϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ
27 He said to her, “Let the children first be fed. For it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.”
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲥⲉⲓ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲛⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲉⲛⲟϫϥ ⲛⲛⲉⲩϩⲟⲟⲣ
28 But she answered and said to him, “Yes, Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs.”
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲛⲧⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲕⲉⲟⲩϩⲟⲟⲣ ϣⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲥⲣⲉϥⲣⲓϥⲉ ϩⲁⲧⲉⲧⲣⲁⲡⲉⲍⲁ ⲛⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ
29 He said to her, “Because you have said this, you are free to go. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲉⲉⲓϣⲁϫⲉ ⲁⲡⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲟⲩϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ
30 She went back to her house and found the child lying on the bed, and the demon was gone.
ⲗ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲥⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲓ ⲁⲥϩⲉ ⲉⲧⲉϣϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲉⲥⲛⲏϫ ϩⲓⲡⲉϭⲗⲟϭ ⲉⲁⲡⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲗⲟ ϩⲓⲱⲱⲥ
31 Then he went out again from the region of Tyre, and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee up into the region of the Decapolis.
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲛⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲥⲓⲇⲱⲛ ⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲛⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ ϩⲛ ⲧⲙⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲛⲧⲇⲉⲕⲁⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ
32 They brought to him someone who was deaf and had difficulty speaking, and they begged him to lay his hand on him.
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲗ ⲛⲙⲡⲟ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲕⲁⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ϩⲓϫⲱϥ
33 He took him aside from the crowd privately, and he put his fingers into his ears, and after spitting, he touched his tongue.
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲧϥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲧⲉⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁϥϫⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲩⲥⲁ ⲁϥⲛⲉϫⲛⲉϥⲧⲏⲏⲃⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲁϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲉϫⲧⲁϥ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁϥ ⲁϥϫⲱϩ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲥ
34 He looked up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is to say, “Open!”
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϥⲓ ⲓⲁⲧϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲡⲉ ⲁϥⲁϣⲁϩⲟⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲡⲫⲁⲑⲁ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲱⲛ
35 At once his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he began to speak plainly.
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲁϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲙⲣⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲥ ⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲗⲱⲥ
36 Jesus ordered them to tell no one. But the more he ordered them, the more abundantly they proclaimed it.
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϩⲱⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲩϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲗⲗⲁⲁⲩ ϩⲟⲥⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϩⲱⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲩϯ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲉⲓⲧ
37 They were extremely astonished, saying, “He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”
