< Mark 11 >

1 Now as they came to Jerusalem, they were close to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, and Jesus sent out two of his disciples
Bí wọ́n ti súnmọ́ Betfage àti Betani ní ẹ̀yìn odi ìlú Jerusalẹmu, wọ́n dé orí òkè olifi. Jesu rán méjì nínú àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ síwájú.
2 and said to them, “Go into the village opposite us. As soon as you enter it, you will find a colt that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it to me.
Ó pàṣẹ fún wọn pé, “Ẹ lọ sí abúlé tó wà lọ́hùn ún nì. Nígbà tí ẹ bá sì wọlé, ẹ̀yin yóò rí ọmọ kẹ́tẹ́kẹ́tẹ́ tí a so mọ́lẹ̀ tí ẹnikẹ́ni kò ì tí i gùn rí. Ẹ tú u, kí ẹ sì mú wá sí ibi yìí.
3 If anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' you should say, 'The Lord has need of it and will immediately send it back here.'”
Bí ẹnikẹ́ni bá bi yín pé, ‘Kí ló dé tí ẹ fi ń ṣe èyí?’ Ẹ sọ fún un pé, ‘Olúwa ní í fi ṣe, yóò sì dá a padà síbí láìpẹ́.’”
4 They went away and found a colt tied at a door outside on the open street, and they untied it.
Àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn méjì náà lọ bí ó ti rán wọn. Wọ́n rí ọmọ kẹ́tẹ́kẹ́tẹ́ náà tí a so ní ẹnu-ọ̀nà lóde ní ìta gbangba, wọ́n sì tú u.
5 Some people were standing there and said to them, “What are you doing, untying that colt?”
Bí wọ́n ti ń tú u, díẹ̀ nínú àwọn tí ó dúró níbẹ̀ bi wọ́n léèrè pé, “Ki ni ẹyin n ṣe, tí ẹ̀yin fi ń tú ọmọ kẹ́tẹ́kẹ́tẹ́ n nì?”
6 They spoke to them as Jesus told them, and the people let them go their way.
Wọ́n sì wí fún wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí Jesu ti ní kí wọ́n sọ, wọ́n sì jọ̀wọ́ wọn lọ́wọ́ lọ.
7 The two disciples brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it so Jesus could ride it.
Wọ́n fa ọmọ kẹ́tẹ́kẹ́tẹ́ náà tọ Jesu wá. Wọ́n tẹ́ aṣọ wọn sí ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀, òun sì jókòó lórí rẹ̀.
8 Many people spread their garments on the road, and others spread branches they had cut from the fields.
Àwọn púpọ̀ tẹ́ aṣọ wọn sí ọ̀nà. Àwọn mìíràn ṣẹ́ ẹ̀ka igi, wọ́n sì fọ́n wọn sí ọ̀nà.
9 Those who went before him and those who followed shouted, “Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.
Àti àwọn tí ń lọ níwájú, àti àwọn tí ń bọ̀ lẹ́yìn, gbogbo wọn sì ń kígbe wí pé, “Hosana!” “Olùbùkún ni ẹni náà tí ó ń bọ̀ wà ní orúkọ Olúwa!”
10 Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”
“Olùbùkún ni fún ìjọba tí ń bọ̀ wá, ìjọba Dafidi, baba wa!” “Hosana lókè ọ̀run!”
11 Then Jesus entered into Jerusalem and went into the temple and looked around at everything. Now, the time being late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
Jesu wọ Jerusalẹmu ó sì lọ sí inú tẹmpili. Ó wo ohun gbogbo yíká fínní fínní. Ó sì kúrò níbẹ̀, nítorí pé ilẹ̀ ti ṣú. Ó padà lọ sí Betani pẹ̀lú àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ méjìlá.
12 The next day, when they returned from Bethany, he was hungry.

13 Seeing from far away a fig tree that had leaves, he went to see if he could find any fruit on it, and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
Ó rí igi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́ kan lọ́ọ̀ọ́kán tí ewé kún orí rẹ̀. Nígbà náà, ó lọ sí ìdí rẹ̀ láti wò ó bóyá ó léso tàbí kò léso. Nígbà tí ó dé ibẹ̀, ewé lásán ni ó rí, kò rí èso lórí rẹ̀. Nítorí pé àkókò náà kì í ṣe àkókò tí igi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́ máa ń so.
14 He spoke to it, “No one will ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it. (aiōn g165)
Lẹ́yìn náà, Jesu pàṣẹ fún igi náà pé, “Kí ẹnikẹ́ni má ṣe jẹ èso lórí rẹ mọ́ títí láé.” Àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ gbọ́ nígbà tí ó wí bẹ́ẹ̀. (aiōn g165)
15 They came to Jerusalem, and he entered the temple and began to cast out the sellers and the buyers in the temple. He turned over the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons.
Nígbà ti wọ́n padà sí Jerusalẹmu, ó wọ inú tẹmpili. Ó bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí nílé àwọn oníṣòwò àti àwọn oníbàárà wọn síta. Ó ti tábìlì àwọn tí ń pààrọ̀ owó nínú tẹmpili ṣubú. Bákan náà ni ó ti ìjókòó àwọn tí ń ta ẹyẹlé lulẹ̀.

Kò sì gba ẹnikẹ́ni láààyè láti gbé ẹrù ọjà títà gba inú tẹmpili wọlé.
17 He taught them and said, “Is it not written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations'? But you have made it a den of robbers.”
Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ó ti kọ́ wọn, ó wí pé, “Ṣé a kò ti kọ ọ́ pé: ‘Ilé àdúrà ni a o máa pe ilé mi, ní gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè?’ Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin ti sọ ọ́ di ibùgbé àwọn ọlọ́ṣà.”
18 The chief priests and the scribes heard what he had said, and they looked for a way to kill him. For they feared him because the entire crowd was amazed at his teaching.
Nígbà tí àwọn olórí àlùfáà àti àwọn olùkọ́ òfin gbọ́ ohun tí ó ti ṣe, wọ́n bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí ń gbà èrò bí wọn yóò ti ṣe pa á. Wọ́n bẹ̀rù rògbòdìyàn tí yóò bẹ́ sílẹ̀, nítorí tí àwọn ènìyàn ní ìgbóná ọkàn sí ẹ̀kọ́ rẹ̀.

20 As they walked by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away to its roots.

22 Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.
Jesu sì dáhùn pé, “Ẹ ní ìgbàgbọ́ nínú Ọlọ́run.
23 Truly I say to you that whoever says to this mountain, 'Get up and cast yourself into the sea,' and if he does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he said will happen, that is what God will do.
Lóòótọ́ ni mò wí fún un yín, bí ẹnikẹ́ni bá wí fún òkè ‘Ṣídìí, gbé ara rẹ sọ sínú Òkun,’ ti kò sì ṣe iyèméjì nínú ọkàn rẹ̀ ṣùgbọ́n tí ó gbàgbọ́ pé ohun tí òun wí yóò ṣẹ, yóò rí bẹ́ẹ̀ fún un.

27 They came to Jerusalem again. As Jesus was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to him.
Lẹ́yìn èyí, wọ́n tún padà sí Jerusalẹmu. Bí Jesu ti ń rìn kiri ni tẹmpili, àwọn olórí àlùfáà àti àwọn olùkọ́ òfin pẹ̀lú àwọn àgbàgbà Júù wá sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀.
28 They said to him, “By what authority do you do these things, and who gave you the authority to do them?”
Wọ́n béèrè lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀ pé, “Àṣẹ wo ni ó fi ń ṣe nǹkan yìí? Ta ni ó sì fún ọ ni àṣẹ yìí láti máa ṣe nǹkan wọ̀nyí?”
29 Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question. Tell me and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Jesu dá wọn lóhùn pé, “Èmi yóò bi yín léèrè ọ̀rọ̀ kan, kí ẹ sì dá mi lóhùn, èmi yóò sọ fún yín àṣẹ tí èmi fi ń ṣe nǹkan wọ̀nyí.”
30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven or from men? Answer me.”
Ìtẹ̀bọmi Johanu láti ọ̀run wa ni, tàbí láti ọ̀dọ̀ ènìyàn? “Ẹ dá mi lóhùn!”
31 They discussed between themselves and argued and said, “If we say, 'From heaven,' he will say, 'Why then did you not believe him?'
Wọ́n bá ara wọn jíròrò pé, “Bí a bá wí pé, ‘Láti ọ̀run wá ni,’ òun ó wí pé, ‘Nígbà tí ẹ mọ̀ bẹ́ẹ̀, èéṣe tí ẹ kò fi gbà à gbọ́?’
32 But if we say, 'From men,' ... .” They were afraid of the people, for everyone was convinced that John was a prophet.
Ṣùgbọ́n bí a bá wí pé, àti ọ̀dọ̀ ènìyàn, wọ́n bẹ̀rù àwọn ènìyàn, nítorí pé gbogbo ènìyàn ló gbàgbọ́ pé wòlíì gidi ni Johanu.”
33 Then they answered Jesus and said, “We do not know.” Then Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
Nítorí náà, wọ́n kọjú sí Jesu wọn sì dáhùn pé, “Àwa kò mọ̀.” Nígbà náà ni Jesu wí pé, “Níwọ́n ìgbà tí ẹ kò lè dáhùn ìbéèrè mi, Èmi náà kì yóò sọ fún yín àṣẹ tí mo fi ń ṣe nǹkan wọ̀nyí.”
