< Mark 10 >

1 Jesus left that place and went to the region of Judea and to the area beyond the Jordan River, and the crowds came to him again. He was teaching them again, as he was accustomed to do.

2 Then Pharisees came to him to test him and asked, “Is it lawful for a husband to divorce his wife?”
Orduan ethorriric Phariseuéc interroga ceçaten tentatzen çutela, Sori da guiçonac bere emaztea vtzi deçan?
3 He answered, “What did Moses command you?”
Baina harc ihardesten çuela erran ceçan, Cer manatu drauçue Moysesec?
4 They said, “Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce and then to send her away.”
Eta hec erran ceçaten, Moysesec permettitu dic separationeco letraren scribatzera, eta emaztearen vtzitera.
5 “It was because of your hard hearts that he wrote you this law,” Jesus said to them.
Eta ihardiesten çuela Iesusec erran ciecén, Çuen bihotzeco gogortassunagatic scribatu drauçue manamendu hori.

Hunegatic, vtziren ditu guiçonac bere aita eta ama, eta iunctaturen çayó bere emazteari.
8 and the two shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
Eta biac içanen dirade haraguibat. Beraz guehiagoric eztirade biga, baina haraguibat.
9 Therefore what God has joined together, let no man tear apart.”

10 When they were in the house, the disciples asked him again about this.
Eta etchean berriz discipuluéc gauçá harçaz beraz interroga ceçaten.

Eta harc erran cieçen, Norc-ere vtziren baitu bere emaztea, eta bercebat emazte harturen, adulterio iauquiten du haren contra.
12 If she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.”
Eta baldin emazteac vtzi badeça bere senharra, eta berce batequin ezcon badadi, adulterio iauquiten du.
13 Then they brought their little children to him so that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.
Orduan presenta cietzoten haourtcho batzu, hec hunqui litzançat: baina discipuluéc mehatchatzen cituzten, hec presentatzen cituztenac.
14 But when Jesus noticed it, he was very displeased and said to them, “Permit the little children to come to me, and do not forbid them, for the kingdom of God belongs to those who are like them.
Eta hori ikus ceçanean Iesusec, fascha cedin eta erran ciecén, vtzitzaçue haourtchoac enegana ethortera, eta eztitzaçuela empatcha: ecen horlacoén da Iaincoaren resumá.
15 Truly I say to you, whoever will not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will definitely not enter it.”
Eguiaz erraiten drauçuet, norc-ere ezpaitu recebituren Iaincoaren resumá haourtcho anço, ezta hartan sarthuren.

17 When he began his journey, a man ran up to him and knelt before him, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
Eta hura ilkiten cela bideari lequionçat, norbeitec harengana laster eguinic, eta haren aitzinean belhauricaturic, interroga ceçan, Magistru oná, cer eguinen dut vicitze eternala hereta deçadançat? (aiōnios g166)
18 Jesus said, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.
Eta Iesusec erran cieçon, Cergatic deitzen nauc on? eztuc nehor onic bat baicen, eta hura, Iaincoa.
19 You know the commandments: 'Do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not testify falsely, do not defraud, honor your father and mother'.”
Manamenduac badaquizquic, Ezteçala adultera, Ezteçala hil, Ezteçala ebats, Ezteçala testimoniage falsuric erran, Damuric eztaguioala nehori, Ohoraitzac eure aita eta ama:

Eta harc ihardesten çuela erran cieçon, Magistruá, horiac guciac beguiratu citiat neure gaztetassunetic.
21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. He said to him, “One thing you lack. You must sell all that you have and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
Eta Iesusec harenganat behaturic, onhets ceçan, eta erran cieçón, Gauça baten peitu aiz, habil, dituanac sal itzac, eta eman ietzéc paubrey: eta vkanen duc thesaurbat ceruän: eta athor, arreit niri, crutzea harturic.
22 But because of this statement he looked very sad and he went away distressed, because he had many possessions.
Eta hura faschaturic hitz hunez, ioan cedin tristeric: ecen on handiac cituen.
23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it is for those who are rich to enter the kingdom of God!”
Orduan inguru behaturic Iesusec dioste bere discipuluey, O cein nequez onhassundunac, Iaincoaren resumán sarthuren diraden!
24 The disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how hard it is to enter into the kingdom of God!
Eta discipuluac spanta citecen hitz hauçaz. Baina Iesusec berriz ihardesten çuela erran ciecén, Haourrác, cein gaitz den abrastassunetan fida diradenac, Iaincoaren resumán sar ditecen.
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”
Errachago da cablebat orratzaren çulhotic iragan dadin, ecen ez abratsa Iaincoaren resumán sar dadin.
26 They were greatly astonished and said to each other, “Then who can be saved?”
Baina hec are spantago citecen, bere artean cioitela, Eta nor salua ahal daite?
27 Jesus looked at them and said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
Baina hetarat behaturic Iesusec dio, Guiçonac baithan impossible da, baina ez Iaincoa baithan: ecen gauça guciac possible dirade Iaincoa baithan.
28 Peter began to speak to him, “Look, we have left everything and have followed you.”
Orduan Pierris has cedin hari erraiten, Huná, guc vtzi citiagu gauça guciac, eta iarreiqui gaitzaizquic hiri.
29 Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for my sake, and for the gospel,
Eta ihardesten duela Iesusec dio. Eguiaz diotsuet, nehor ezta vtzi duenic etchea, edo anayeac, edo arrebác, edo aita, edo ama, edo emaztea, edo haourrac, edo landác, ene eta Euangelioaren amorecatic.

Recebi ezteçan orain demborá hunetan ehunetan hambát, etche eta anaye, eta arreba, eta ama, eta haour, eta landa, persecutionequin, eta secula ethortecoan vicitze eternala. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
Baina anhitz lehen diradenac, içanen dirade azquen: eta azquenac lehen.
32 They were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going ahead of them. The disciples were amazed, and those who were following behind were afraid. Then Jesus took the twelve aside again and began to tell them what would soon happen to him.
Eta ciraden bidean igaiten ciradela Ierusalemera: eta hayén aitzinean ioiten cen Iesus, eta spantatzen ciraden, eta çarreitzola ciraden beldur. Eta harturic berriz hamabiac, has cequien ethorri behar çaizcan gaucén erraiten:
33 “See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death and deliver him to the Gentiles.
Cioela, huná, igaiten gara Ierusalemera: eta guiçonaren Semea liuraturen da Sacrificadore principalén eta Scribén escuetara, eta hiltzera condemnaturen duté, eta Gentilén escuetaraco duté:
34 They will mock him, spit on him, whip him, and put him to death. But after three days he will rise.”
Eta hec escarniaturen dute hura, eta açotaturen, eta thu eguinen draucate, eta hilen duté: baina hereneco egunean resuscitaturen da.
35 James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came up to him and said, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask you.”
Orduan ethorten dirade haregana Iacques eta Ioannes Zebedeoren semeac, dioitela, Magistruá, nahi guendiquec cer-ere escaturen baicara, eguin ieçagun.

Eta hec erran cieçoten, Eman ieçaguc, bata hire escuinean, eta bercea hire ezquerrean iar gaitecen hire glorián.
38 But Jesus replied to them, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup which I will drink or endure the baptism with which I will be baptized?”
Eta Iesusec erran ciecén, Eztaquiçue ceren esquez çaudeten: edan ahal diroçue nic edaten dudan copá, eta ni batheyatzen naicen baptismoaz batheya ahal çaitezquete?
39 They said to him, “We are able.” Jesus said to them, “The cup that I will drink, you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you also will be baptized.
Eta hec erran cieçoten, Bay. Eta Iesusec erran ciecén, Nic edaten dudan copá edanen baduçue, eta ni batheyatzen naicen baptismoaz batheyaturen baçarete:
40 But who is to sit at my right hand or at my left hand is not mine to give, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.”

41 When the other ten disciples heard about this, they began to be very angry with James and John.
Eta hori ençunic hamarrac has citecen faschatzen Iacquesez eta Ioannesez.

Baina Iesusec hec beregana deithuric dioste Badaquiçue ecen nationén gainean seignoriatzea laket çayenéc, hayén gainean seignoriatzen dutela, eta hayén artean handi diradenéc authoritatez vsatzen dutela hayen gainean.
43 But it shall not be this way among you. Whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant,
Baina ezta hala içanen çuen artean: aitzitic nor-ere nahi içanen baita handiena içan çuen artean, içanen da çuen cerbitzari.
44 and whoever wishes to be first among you must be the slave of all.
Eta nor-ere nahi içanen baita çuen artean içan ehen, içanen da gucién cerbitzari.
45 For the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Ecen guiçonaren Semea-ere ezta ethorri cerbitzatu içatera, baina cerbitzatzera, eta bere viciaren anhitzengatic rançoinetan emaitera.
