Luke 17
1 Jesus said to his disciples, “It is certain there will be things that can cause us to sin, but woe to that person through whom they come!
穌對門徒說：「引人跌倒的事是免不了的；但是，引人跌倒的人是有禍的。
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he were thrown into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
把一塊磨石套在他的頸上，投入海中，比讓他引這些小石子中的一個跌倒，為他更好。
3 Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.
你們要謹慎! 如果你的兄弟犯了罪，你就得規勸他；他如果後悔了，你就得寬恕他。
4 If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you must forgive him!”
如果他一天七次得罪了你，而又七次轉向你說：我後悔了，你也得寬恕他。」
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
宗徒們向主說: 「請增加我們的信德罷!」
6 The Lord said, “If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
主說：「如果你們有信德像芥子那麼大，即使你們給這棵桑樹說：你連根拔出，移植到海中去! 它也會服從你們的。
7 But which of you, who has a servant plowing or keeping sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down to eat'?
你們中間誰有僕人耕田或放羊，從田地裏回來，即給他說：你快過來坐下吃飯罷!
8 Will he not say to him, 'Prepare something for me to eat, and put a belt around your clothes and serve me until I have finished eating and drinking. Then afterward you will eat and drink'?
而不給他說：預備我吃飯，束上腰伺候我，等我吃喝完畢，以後你才吃喝﹖
9 He does not thank the servant because he did the things that were commanded, does he?
僕人做了吩咐的事，主人豈要向他道謝﹖
10 Even so you also, when you have done everything that you are commanded, should say, 'We are unworthy servants. We have only done what we ought to do.'”
你們也是這樣，既做吩咐你們的一切，仍然要說：我們是無用的僕人，我們不過做了我們應做的事。」
11 It came about that as he traveled to Jerusalem, he went along the border between Samaria and Galilee.
耶穌往耶路撒冷去的時候，經過撒瑪利亞及加利肋亞中間，
12 As he entered into a certain village, there he was met by ten men who were lepers. They stood far away from him
走進一個村莊的時候，有十個癩病人迎面而來，遠遠地站著。
13 and they lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”
他們提高聲音說: 「師傅，耶穌，可憐我們罷!」
14 When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they went away they were cleansed.
耶穌定睛一看，向他們說: 「你們去叫司祭們檢驗你們罷!」他們去的時候便潔淨了。
15 When one of them saw that he was healed, he turned back, with a loud voice glorifying God.
其中一個，看見自己痊癒了，就回來大聲光榮天主，
16 He fell down at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. He was a Samaritan.
並且跪伏在耶穌足前，感謝他；他是一個撒瑪黎雅人。
17 Then Jesus said, “Were not the ten cleansed? Where are the nine?
耶穌便說道：「潔淨了的不是十個人嗎﹖那九個人在那裏呢﹖
18 Were there no others who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?”
除了這個外邦人，就沒有別人回來歸光榮於天主嗎﹖」
19 He said to him, “Arise, and go. Your faith has made you well.”
耶穌遂給那人說: 「起來，去罷! 你的信德救了你。」
20 Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with careful observing.
法利賽人問耶穌天主的國何時要來；耶穌回答說：「天主國的來臨，並非是顯然可見的；
21 Neither will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' For look, the kingdom of God is within you.”
人也不能說: 看呀，在這裏；或：在那裏。因為天主的國就在你們中間。」
22 He said to the disciples, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
耶穌對門徒說: 「日子將到，那時，你們切望看見人子日子中的一天，而不得見。
23 Then they will say to you, 'Look, there! Look, here!' But do not go out or run after them,
人要向你們說：看呀，在那裏；看呀，在這裏。你們不要去，也不要追隨，
24 for as the lightning shines brightly when it flashes from one part of the sky to another part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in his day.
因為猶如閃電由天這邊閃起，直照到天那邊：人子在他的日子裏，也要這樣。
25 But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
但他必須先受許多苦，且被這一代所擯棄。
26 As it happened in the days of Noah, even so will it also happen in the days of the Son of Man.
在諾厄的日子裏怎樣，在人子的日子裏也要怎樣；
27 They ate, they drank, they married, and they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark—and the flood came and destroyed them all.
那時，人們吃喝婚嫁，直到諾厄進入方舟的那天，洪水來了，消滅了所有的人。
28 Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
又如在羅特的日子裏，人們吃喝買賣，種植建造，
29 But in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from heaven and destroyed them all.
但在羅特從索多瑪出來的那天，火及硫磺自天降下，消滅了所有的人：
30 After the same manner it will be in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
在人子顯現的日子裏，也要這樣。
31 In that day, do not let him who is on the housetop go down to get his goods out of the house; and do not let him who is in the field return.
在那一日，那在屋頂上，而他的器具在屋內的，不要下來取；那在田地裏的，同樣不要回來。
32 Remember Lot's wife.
你們要記得羅特的妻子!
33 Whoever seeks to gain his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will save it.
不論誰，若想保全自己的性命，必要喪失性命；凡喪失性命的，必要保存性命。
34 I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. One will be taken, and the other will be left.
我告訴你們：在這一夜，兩人同在一張床上，一個要被提去，而一個要被遺棄；
35 There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken, and the other will be left.”
兩個女人一起推磨，一個要被提去，而一個要被遺棄。」[
37 They asked him, “Where, Lord?” and he said to them, “Where there is a body, there will the vultures also be gathered together.”
他們問耶穌說：「主，在那裏呢﹖」耶穌回答說：「在那裏有屍體，老鷹就聚隻在那裏。」
