Leviticus 8
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
INkosi yasikhuluma kuMozisi isithi:
2 “Take Aaron and his sons with him, the garments and the anointing oil, the bull for the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread.
Thatha uAroni lamadodana akhe kanye laye, lezembatho, lamafutha okugcoba, lejongosi lomnikelo wesono, lenqama ezimbili, lesitsha sezinkwa ezingelamvubelo,
3 Assemble all the assembly at the entrance to the tent of meeting.”
ubuthanise inhlangano yonke emnyango wethente lenhlangano.
4 So Moses did as Yahweh commanded him, and the assembly came together at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
UMozisi wasesenza njengokulaya kweNkosi kuye, lenhlangano yabuthana emnyango wethente lenhlangano.
5 Then Moses said to the assembly, “This is what Yahweh has commanded to be done.”
UMozisi wasesithi enhlanganweni: Yiyo le into iNkosi elaye ukuthi yenziwe.
6 Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.
UMozisi wasesondeza uAroni lamadodana akhe, wabagezisa ngamanzi.
7 He put on Aaron the tunic and tied the sash around his waist, clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him, and then he tied the ephod around him with the finely-woven waistband and bound it to him.
Wasemgqokisa isigqoko, wambopha ngebhanti, wamgqokisa ibhatshi, wamfaka i-efodi, wambopha ngebhanti le-efodi elelukwe ngobungcitshi, walibophela kuye ngalo.
8 He placed the breastpiece on him, and in the breastpiece he put the Urim and the Thummim.
Wamgqokisa isembatho sesifuba, wabeka esembathweni sesifuba iUrimi leThumimi.
9 He set the turban on his head, and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown, as Yahweh had commanded him.
Wamthwalisa iqhiye ekhanda lakhe; wabeka phezu kweqhiye, ngaphambi kobuso bayo, incence yegolide, umqhele wobungcwele, njengalokhu iNkosi yayimlayile uMozisi.
10 Moses took the anointing oil, anointed the tabernacle and everything in it and set them apart to Yahweh.
UMozisi wasethatha amafutha okugcoba, waligcoba ithabhanekele lakho konke okuphakathi kwalo, wakungcwelisa.
11 He sprinkled the oil on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the washbasin and its base, to set them apart to Yahweh.
Wafafaza ngawo phezu kwelathi kasikhombisa, wagcoba ilathi lezitsha zalo zonke, lenditshi yokugezela lonyawo lwayo, ukukungcwelisa.
12 He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to set him apart.
Wathela okwamafutha okugcoba ekhanda likaAroni, wamgcoba, ukumngcwelisa.
13 Moses brought Aaron's sons and clothed them with tunics. He tied sashes around their waists and wrapped linen cloth around their heads, as Yahweh had commanded him.
UMozisi wasesondeza amadodana kaAroni, wawagqokisa izigqoko, wawabopha ngamabhanti, wawathwalisa izingowane, njengalokhu iNkosi yayimlayile uMozisi.
14 Moses brought the bull for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull that they had brought for the sin offering.
Wasesondeza ijongosi lomnikelo wesono; uAroni lamadodana akhe basebebeka izandla zabo enhlokweni yejongosi lomnikelo wesono.
15 He killed it, and he took the blood and put it on the horns of the altar with his finger, purified the altar, poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and set it apart for God in order to make atonement for it.
Waselihlaba, uMozisi wasethatha igazi, walifaka ngomunwe wakhe empondweni zelathi inhlangothi zonke, wahlambulula ilathi, wathululela igazi kungaphansi yelathi, walingcwelisa ukulenzela inhlawulo yokuthula.
16 He took all the fat that was on the inner parts, the covering of the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat, and Moses burned it all on the altar.
Wathatha idanga lonke, lamahwahwa esibindi, lezinso zombili lamahwahwa azo, uMozisi wakutshisa elathini.
17 But the bull, its hide, its meat, and its dung he burned outside the camp, as Yahweh had commanded him.
Kodwa ijongosi, lesikhumba salo, lenyama yalo, lomswane walo wakutshisa ngomlilo ngaphandle kwenkamba, njengalokhu iNkosi yayimlayile uMozisi.
18 Moses presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
Wasesondeza inqama yomnikelo wokutshiswa; uAroni lamadodana akhe basebebeka izandla zabo phezu kwenhloko yenqama.
19 He killed it and sprinkled its blood against every side of the altar.
Waseyihlaba, uMozisi wafafaza igazi phezu kwelathi inhlangothi zonke.
20 He cut the ram into pieces and burned the head and the pieces and the fat.
Waseyisika inqama ngeziqa zayo, uMozisi watshisa inhloko lezitho lamahwahwa.
21 He washed the inner parts and the legs with water, and he burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering and produced a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
Wagezisa imibilini lemilenze ngamanzi, uMozisi watshisa inqama yonke elathini, kungumnikelo wokutshiswa oloqhatshi olumnandi, kungumnikelo owenzelwe iNkosi ngomlilo, njengalokho iNkosi yayimlayile uMozisi.
22 Then Moses presented the other ram, the ram of consecration, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
Wasesondeza enye inqama, inqama yokwehlukaniswa; uAroni lamadodana akhe basebebeka izandla zabo phezu kwenhloko yenqama.
23 Aaron killed it, and Moses took some of its blood and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
Waseyihlaba, uMozisi wathatha okwegazi layo, walifaka eqwangeni lwendlebe yokunene kaAroni, lesithupheni sesandla sakhe sokunene, lezwaneni olukhulu lonyawo lwakhe lokunene.
24 He brought Aaron's sons, and he put some of the blood on the tip of their right ear, on the thumb of their right hand, and on the big toe of their right foot. Then Moses sprinkled its blood against every side of the altar.
Wasesondeza amadodana kaAroni, uMozisi wafaka okwegazi eqwangeni lwendlebe yawo yokunene, lesithupheni sesandla sawo sokunene, lezwaneni olukhulu lonyawo lwawo lokunene; uMozisi wasefafaza igazi phezu kwelathi inhlangothi zonke.
25 He took the fat, the fat tail, all the fat that was on the inner parts, the covering of the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh.
Wasethatha amahwahwa, lomsila ononileyo, ledanga lonke, lamahwahwa esibindi, lezinso zombili lamahwahwa azo, lomlenze wokunene,
26 Out of the basket of bread without yeast that was before Yahweh, he took one loaf without yeast, and one loaf of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat and on the right thigh.
wakhupha esitsheni sezinkwa ezingelamvubelo esasiphambi kweNkosi iqebelengwana laba linye elingelamvubelo, leqebelengwana elilodwa lesinkwa esilamafutha, lesinkwana esisodwa esiyisipatalala, wakubeka phezu kwamahwahwa laphezu komlenze wokunene;
27 He put it all in the hands of Aaron and in the hands of his sons and waved them before Yahweh as a wave offering.
wakubeka konke ezandleni zikaAroni lezandleni zamadodana akhe, wakuzunguza kwaba ngumnikelo wokuzunguzwa phambi kweNkosi.
28 Then Moses took them from off their hands and burned them on the altar for the burnt offering. They were a consecration offering and produced a sweet aroma. It was an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
UMozisi wasekuthatha ezandleni zabo, wakutshisa elathini phezu komnikelo wokutshiswa, kwaba yikwehlukaniswa okoqhatshi olumnandi, kungumnikelo owenzelwe iNkosi ngomlilo.
29 Moses took the breast and waved it as a wave offering to Yahweh. It was Moses' share of the ram for the priests' ordination, as Yahweh had commanded him.
UMozisi wasethatha isifuba, wasizunguza saba ngumnikelo wokuzunguzwa phambi kweNkosi; saba yisabelo sikaMozisi senqama yokwehlukaniswa, njengalokho iNkosi yayimlayile uMozisi.
30 Moses took some of the anointing oil and the blood that was on the altar; he sprinkled these on Aaron, on his clothes, on his sons, and on his sons' clothes with him. In this way he set apart Aaron and his clothes, and his sons and their clothes to Yahweh.
UMozisi wasethatha okwamafutha okugcoba lokwegazi okwakuphezu kwelathi, wakufafaza phezu kukaAroni, phezu kwezembatho zakhe, laphezu kwamadodana akhe, laphezu kwezembatho zamadodana akhe kanye laye. Wamngcwelisa uAroni, izembatho zakhe, lamadodana akhe, lezembatho zamadodana akhe kanye laye.
31 So Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, “Boil the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, 'Aaron and his sons will eat it.'
UMozisi wasesithi kuAroni lemadodaneni akhe: Phekani inyama emnyango wethente lenhlangano, liyidle lapho lezinkwa ezisesitsheni sokwehlukaniswa, njengokulaya kwami ngisithi: UAroni lamadodana akhe bazakudla.
32 Whatever remains of the meat and of the bread you must burn.
Lokuseleyo kwenyama lokwezinkwa lizakutshisa ngomlilo.
33 You must not go out from the entrance of the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are fulfilled. For Yahweh will consecrate you for seven days.
Njalo kaliyikuphuma ngomnyango wethente lenhlangano, insuku eziyisikhombisa, kuze kufike usuku okuzagcwaliswa ngalo insuku zokwehlukaniswa kwenu, ngoba uzalehlukanisa okwensuku eziyisikhombisa.
34 What has been done this day— Yahweh has commanded to be done to make atonement for you.
Njengoba enzile lamuhla iNkosi ilayile ukukwenza, ukulenzela inhlawulo yokuthula.
35 You will stay day and night for seven days at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and keep the command of Yahweh, so you will not die, because this is what I have been commanded.”
Ngakho lizahlala emnyango wethente lenhlangano insuku eziyisikhombisa, imini lebusuku, ligcine imfanelo yeNkosi ukuze lingafi; ngoba ngilaywe njalo.
36 So Aaron and his sons did all the things which Yahweh had commanded them through Moses.
UAroni lamadodana akhe basebesenza izinto zonke iNkosi eyazilayayo ngesandla sikaMozisi.
