< Lamentations 5 >

1 Remember, Yahweh, what has happened to us; look and see our disgrace.
Lagipem koma, O Yahweh, ti napasamak kadakami. Kitaem ti pannakaibabainmi.
2 Our inheritance has been turned over to strangers; our houses to foreigners.
Naiteden kadagiti ganggannaet dagiti tawidmi; naiteden kadagiti sangsangaili dagiti balbalaymi.
3 We have become orphans, the fatherless, and our mothers are like widows.
Nagbalinkamin a bastardo, ta awanen dagiti ammami, ken kasla nabalon dagiti innami.
4 We must pay silver for the water we drink, and we must pay silver to get our own wood.
Pirak ti katukad dagiti danum nga inumenmi, ken mailakon kadakami dagiti kayomi.
5 Those who are coming after us are close behind us; we are weary and we can find no rest.
Kamkamatendakami dagiti kabusormi; asidegdan ket uraymi la marikna ti angesda kadagiti teltelmi. Nabannogkamin; awan inanami.
6 We have given ourselves to Egypt and to Assyria to get enough food.
Inggaw-atmi dagiti imami kadagiti taga-Egipto ken kadagiti taga-Asiria tapno ikkandakami iti taraonmi.
7 Our fathers sinned, and they are no more, and we bear their iniquities.
Nagbasol dagiti ammami, ngem awandan, ket dakami ti aglaklak-am kadagiti basolda.
8 Slaves rule over us, and there is no one to deliver us from their hand.
Iturturayandakami dagiti tagabu, ket awan mangispal kadakami manipud kadagiti imada.
9 We get our bread only by risking our lives, because of the sword in the wilderness.
Ipuspustami ti biagmi tapno maalami ti tinapaymi iti sangoanan ti kampilan ti let-ang.
10 Our skin has grown as hot as an oven because of the burning heat of hunger.
Ti kudilmi ket maiyarig iti maysa a pogon, a nakabarbara gapu iti bisin.
11 Women are raped in Zion, and virgins in the cities of Judah.
Indaddadanesda dagiti babbai iti Sion, dagiti birhen kadagiti siudad ti Juda.
12 Princes are hung up by their own hands, and no honor is shown to the elders.
Imbitinda dagiti prinsipe babaen kadagiti mismo nga imada, ken saanda a rinaraem dagiti panglakayen.
13 Young men are forced to grind grain with a millstone, and boys stagger under heavy loads of wood.
Impanda dagiti babbaro iti balay a paggilingan, ken dagiti agtutubo a lallaki ket marigrigatan nga agbakbaklay kadagiti troso.
14 The elders have left the city gate, and the young men have left their music.
Pinapanawda dagiti panglakayen iti ruangan ti siudad, ken pinapanawda dagiti babbaro manipud iti musikada.
15 The joy of our heart has ceased and our dancing has turned into mourning.
Naggibusen ti rag-o iti pusomi; nagbalin a dung-aw ti panagsalsalami.
16 The crown has fallen from our head; woe to us, for we have sinned!
Natinnagen ti korona manipud iti ulomi! Asikami pay! Nagbasolkami gamin!
17 For this our heart has become sick, for these things our eyes grow dim
Kimmapsuten dagiti puspusomi, ken nagkudrepen dagiti matami,
18 for Mount Zion lies desolate, with jackals prowling over it.
gapu ta agdakdakiwas dagiti atap nga aso idiay Bantay Sion, a nabaybay-an.
19 But you, Yahweh, reign forever, and you will sit upon your throne from generation to generation.
Ngem sika ni Yahweh; agturayka iti agnanayon, ken adda iti amin a henerasion ti tronom.
20 Why do you forget us forever? Why do you forsake us for so many days?
Apay a lipatennakami iti agnanayon? Agpaut kadi pay ti pananglipatmo kadakami?
21 Restore us to yourself, Yahweh, and we will be restored. Renew our days as they were long ago—
Pagsubliennakami kenka, O Yahweh, ket agbabawikami. Isublim dagiti al-aldawmi a kas iti kallabes,
22 unless you have utterly rejected us and you are angry with us beyond measure.
malaksid a no talaga a binaybay-annakamin ken kasta unay ti pungtotmo kadakami!
