Lamentations 3
1 I am a man who has seen misery under the rod of Yahweh's fury.
| من آن مرد هستم که از عصای غضب وی مذلت دیده‌ام. | ۱ |
2 He drove me away and caused me to walk in darkness rather than light.
| او مرا رهبری نموده، به تاریکی در‌آورده است و نه به روشنایی. | ۲ |
3 Surely he turned his hand against me again and again, the whole day long.
| به درستی که دست خویش را تمامی روز به ضد من بارها برگردانیده است. | ۳ |
4 He made my flesh and my skin waste away; he broke my bones.
| گوشت و پوست مرا مندرس ساخته واستخوانهایم را خرد کرده است. | ۴ |
5 He built up siege works against me, and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.
| به ضد من بنا نموده، مرا به تلخی و مشقت احاطه کرده است. | ۵ |
6 He made me live in dark places, like those who died long ago.
| مرا مثل آنانی که از قدیم مرده‌اند در تاریکی نشانیده است. | ۶ |
7 He built a wall around me and I cannot escape. He made my chains heavy
| گرد من حصار کشیده که نتوانم بیرون آمد وزنجیر مرا سنگین ساخته است. | ۷ |
8 and though I call out and cry for help, he shut out my prayer.
| و نیز چون فریاد و استغاثه می‌نمایم دعای مرا منع می‌کند. | ۸ |
9 He blocked my path with a wall of hewn stone; he made my paths crooked.
| راههای مرا با سنگهای تراشیده سد کرده است و طریقهایم را کج نموده است. | ۹ |
10 He is like a bear waiting to ambush me, a lion in hiding;
| او برای من خرسی است در کمین نشسته وشیری که در بیشه خود می‌باشد. | ۱۰ |
11 he turned aside my paths, he has made me desolate.
| راه مرا منحرف ساخته، مرا دریده است ومرا مبهوت گردانیده است. | ۱۱ |
12 He bent his bow and set me as a target for his arrow.
| کمان خود را زه کرده، مرا برای تیرهای خویش، هدف ساخته است. | ۱۲ |
13 He pierced my kidneys with the arrows of his quiver.
| و تیرهای ترکش خود را به گرده های من فرو برده است. | ۱۳ |
14 I became a laughingstock to all my people, the object of their taunting all day long.
| من به جهت تمامی قوم خود مضحکه وتمامی روز سرود ایشان شده‌ام. | ۱۴ |
15 He filled me with bitterness and forced me to drink wormwood.
| مرا به تلخیها سیر کرده و مرا به افسنتین مست گردانیده است. | ۱۵ |
16 He has made my teeth grind with gravel, and he made me cower in the ashes.
| دندانهایم را به سنگ ریزها شکسته و مرا به خاکستر پوشانیده است. | ۱۶ |
17 My soul is deprived of peace; I have forgotten what happiness is.
| تو جان مرا از سلامتی دور انداختی و من سعادتمندی را فراموش کردم، | ۱۷ |
18 So I say, “My endurance has perished and so has my hope in Yahweh.”
| و گفتم که قوت و امید من از یهوه تلف شده است. | ۱۸ |
19 Remember my affliction and my wanderings, the wormwood and bitterness.
| مذلت و شقاوت مرا افسنتین و تلخی به یادآور. | ۱۹ |
20 I continually remember it and I am bowed down within me.
| تو البته به یاد خواهی آورد زیرا که جان من در من منحنی شده است. | ۲۰ |
21 But I call this to mind and therefore I have hope:
| و من آن را در دل خود خواهم گذرانید و ازاین سبب امیدوار خواهم بود. | ۲۱ |
22 The steadfast love of Yahweh never ceases and his compassions never end,
| از رافت های خداوند است که تلف نشدیم زیرا که رحمت های او بی‌زوال است. | ۲۲ |
23 they are new every morning; your faithfulness is great.
| آنها هر صبح تازه می‌شود و امانت تو بسیاراست. | ۲۳ |
24 “Yahweh is my inheritance,” I said, therefore I will hope in him.
| و جان من می‌گوید که خداوند نصیب من است، بنابراین بر او امیدوارم. | ۲۴ |
25 Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the one who seeks him.
| خداوند به جهت کسانی که بر او توکل دارند و برای آنانی که او را می‌طلبند نیکو است. | ۲۵ |
26 It is good to wait silently for the salvation of Yahweh.
| خوب است که انسان امیدوار باشد و باسکوت انتظار نجات خداوند را بکشد. | ۲۶ |
27 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
| برای انسان نیکو است که یوغ را در جوانی خود بردارد. | ۲۷ |
28 Let him sit alone in silence, when it is laid upon him.
| به تنهایی بنشیند و ساکت باشد زیرا که اوآن را بر وی نهاده است. | ۲۸ |
29 Let him put his mouth in the dust—there may yet be hope.
| دهان خود را بر خاک بگذارد که شاید امیدباشد. | ۲۹ |
30 Let him offer his cheek to the one who strikes him, and let him be filled to the full with reproach.
| رخسار خود را به زنندگان بسپارد و ازخجالت سیر شود. | ۳۰ |
31 For the Lord will not reject us forever,
| زیرا خداوند تا به ابد او را ترک نخواهدنمود. | ۳۱ |
32 but though he causes grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love.
| زیرا اگر‌چه کسی را محزون سازد لیکن برحسب کثرت رافت خود رحمت خواهد فرمود. | ۳۲ |
33 For he does not afflict from his heart or torment the children of mankind.
| چونکه بنی آدم را از دل خود نمی رنجاند ومحزون نمی سازد. | ۳۳ |
34 To crush underfoot all the prisoners of the earth,
| تمامی اسیران زمین را زیر پا پایمال کردن، | ۳۴ |
35 to deny a man justice in the presence of the Most High,
| و منحرف ساختن حق انسان به حضورحضرت اعلی، | ۳۵ |
36 to deny justice to a person—the Lord would not approve such things!
| و منقلب نمودن آدمی در دعویش منظورخداوند نیست. | ۳۶ |
37 Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord decreed it?
| کیست که بگوید و واقع شود اگر خداوندامر نفرموده باشد. | ۳۷ |
38 Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and the good come?
| آیا از فرمان حضرت اعلی هم بدی و هم نیکویی صادر نمی شود؟ | ۳۸ |
39 How can any person alive complain? How can a person complain about the punishment for his sins?
| پس چرا انسان تا زنده است و آدمی به‌سبب سزای گناهان خویش شکایت کند؟ | ۳۹ |
40 Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to Yahweh.
| راههای خود را تجسس و تفحص بنماییم و بسوی خداوند بازگشت کنیم. | ۴۰ |
41 Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in the heavens:
| دلها و دستهای خویش را بسوی خدایی که در آسمان است برافرازیم، | ۴۱ |
42 “We have transgressed and rebelled, and you have not forgiven.
| (و بگوییم ): «ما گناه کردیم و عصیان ورزیدیم و تو عفو نفرمودی. | ۴۲ |
43 You have covered yourself with anger and pursued us, you have killed and you have not spared.
| خویشتن را به غضب پوشانیده، ما را تعاقب نمودی و به قتل رسانیده، شفقت نفرمودی. | ۴۳ |
44 You have covered yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can pass through.
| خویشتن را به ابر غلیظ مستور ساختی، تادعای ما نگذرد. | ۴۴ |
45 You have made us like filthy scum and refuse among the nations.
| ما را در میان امت‌ها فضله و خاکروبه گردانیده‌ای.» | ۴۵ |
46 All our enemies curse us,
| تمامی دشمنان ما بر ما دهان خود رامی گشایند. | ۴۶ |
47 panic and pitfall have come upon us, ruin and destruction.
| خوف و دام و هلاکت و خرابی بر ما عارض گردیده است. | ۴۷ |
48 My eyes flow with streams of tears because my people are destroyed.
| به‌سبب هلاکت دختر قوم من، نهرهای آب از چشمانم می‌ریزد. | ۴۸ |
49 My eyes will shed tears without ceasing, without relief,
| چشم من بلا انقطاع جاری است و بازنمی ایستد. | ۴۹ |
50 until Yahweh from heaven looks down and sees.
| تا خداوند از آسمان ملاحظه نماید و ببیند. | ۵۰ |
51 My eyes cause me grief because of all the daughters of my city.
| چشمانم به جهت جمیع دختران شهرم، جان مرا می‌رنجاند. | ۵۱ |
52 I have been hunted like a bird by those who were my enemies; they hunted me without a reason.
| آنانی که بی‌سبب دشمن منند مرا مثل مرغ بشدت تعاقب می‌نمایند. | ۵۲ |
53 They cast me into a pit and they threw a stone on me,
| جان مرا در سیاه چال منقطع ساختند وسنگها بر من‌انداختند. | ۵۳ |
54 and they caused waters to overflow, covering my head. I said, 'I have been cut off!'
| آبها از سر من گذشت پس گفتم: منقطع شدم. | ۵۴ |
55 I called on your name, Yahweh, from the depths of the pit.
| آنگاه‌ای خداوند، از عمق های سیاه چال اسم تو را خواندم. | ۵۵ |
56 You heard my voice when I said, 'Do not close your ear to my cry for help.'
| آواز مرا شنیدی، پس گوش خود را از آه واستغاثه من مپوشان! | ۵۶ |
57 You came near on the day I called on you; you said, 'Do not fear.'
| در روزی که تو را خواندم نزدیک شده، فرمودی که نترس. | ۵۷ |
58 Lord, you defended my case, you saved my life!
| ای خداوند دعوی جان مرا انجام داده و حیات مرا فدیه نموده‌ای! | ۵۸ |
59 Yahweh, you have seen the wrong they have done to me; judge my case.
| ای خداوند ظلمی را که به من نموده انددیده‌ای پس مرا دادرسی فرما! | ۵۹ |
60 You have seen their insults, all their plots against me—
| تمامی کینه ایشان و همه تدبیرهایی را که به ضد من کردند دیده‌ای. | ۶۰ |
61 You have heard their scorn, Yahweh, and all their plans regarding me.
| ای خداوند مذمت ایشان را و همه تدبیرهایی را که به ضد من کردند شنیده‌ای! | ۶۱ |
62 The lips and the accusations of my enemies come against me all the day.
| سخنان مقاومت کنندگانم را و فکرهایی راکه تمامی روز به ضد من دارند (دانسته‌ای ). | ۶۲ |
63 Look at how they sit and then rise up; they mock me with their songs.
| نشستن و برخاستن ایشان را ملاحظه فرمازیرا که من سرود ایشان شده‌ام. | ۶۳ |
64 Pay back to them, Yahweh, according to what they have done.
| ای خداوند موافق اعمال دستهای ایشان مکافات به ایشان برسان. | ۶۴ |
65 You will let their hearts be shameless! May your condemnation be upon them!
| غشاوه قلب به ایشان بده و لعنت تو برایشان باد! | ۶۵ |
66 You pursue them in anger and destroy them from under the heavens, Yahweh!”
| ایشان را به غضب تعاقب نموده، از زیرآسمانهای خداوند هلاک کن. | ۶۶ |
