< Jude 1 >

1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are called, beloved in God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:
Ampa Sithaw mah ciimcaisak ih, Jesu Kri mah pakuem moe, kawk ih kaminawk khaeah, Jesu Kri tamna ah kaom, Jakob ih amnawk, Juda mah tarik:
2 May mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.
palungnathaih, monghaih hoi amlunghaih nangcae khaeah pung nasoe.
3 Beloved, while I was making every effort to write to you about our common salvation, I had to write to you to exhort you to struggle earnestly for the faith that was entrusted once for all to the holy people.
Palung ih kaminawk, kami boih han kaom pahlonghaih kawng nangcae khaeah tarik moe, paek hanah tha ka pathok, toe kaciim kaminawk khaeah vaito kakhawt ah paek ih tanghaih to na pakaa o hanah ca tarik han angaih, tiah ka poek.
4 For certain men have slipped in secretly among you. These are men who were marked out for condemnation. They are ungodly men who have changed the grace of our God into sensuality, and who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Lokcaek hanah canghni hoi pahoe coek ih Sithaw panoek ai thoemto kaminawk loe, tamquta hoi akun o moe, aicae Sithaw tahmenhaih to nongpata nongpa zaehaih bangah paqoi o ving, maeto khue kaom Angraeng Sithaw hoi aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri to tapom han koeh o ai.
5 Now I wish to remind you—although once you fully knew it—that the Lord saved a people out of the land of Egypt, but that afterward he destroyed those who did not believe.
Angraeng mah angmah ih kaminawk to Izip prae thung hoiah pahlong, toe anih mah hnukkhuem ah tang ai kaminawk to hum, tiah kaom hmuen kawng hae na panoek o boih boeh e, panoeksak let han ka koeh.
6 Also angels who did not keep to their own position of authority, but who left their proper dwelling place—God has kept them in everlasting chains, in utter darkness, for the judgment on the great day. (aïdios g126)
Hmaloe koekah angmacae angdoethaih ahmuen ah kaom poe ai, angmacae ohhaih ahmuen caehtaak vankaminawk to, kalen parai niah lokcaek hanah Anih mah sumqui hoi dungzan ah pathlet moe, khoving thungah suek boeh. (aïdios g126)
7 It is just like Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, which also indulged themselves in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desires. They were displayed as examples of those who suffer the punishment in eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
To baktih toengah, Sodom hoi Gomorrah taeng ih vangpuinawk doeh, nongpa nongpata zae sakhaih bangah ang paek o moe, angmacae zu sava na ai kalah kaminawk hoiah zaehaih a sak o pongah, khet koi kaom ah dungzan hmai hoiah lokcaekhaih to a tongh o. (aiōnios g166)
8 Yet in the same way, these dreamers also pollute their bodies. They reject authority, and they say slanderous things against the glorious ones.
To baktih toengah hae tiah amaang sah kaminawk mah doeh angmacae ih takpum to panuet kaom ah a sak o, ukhaih to pahnawt o ai, ukhaih kaa tawn kaminawk to kasae a thuih o.
9 But even Michael the archangel, when he was arguing with the devil and disputing with him about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment against him. Instead he said, “May the Lord rebuke you!”
Toe kalen koek van kami Mikal mah mataeng doeh, Setan hoiah Mosi ih takpum anglomh hoi naah, anih to kasae thuih han zit pongah, Angraeng mah na thuitaek nasoe, tiah a naa.
10 But these people slander whatever they do not understand, and what they do understand—what unreasoning animals know by instinct—these are what destroy them.
Toe hae kaminawk mah loe nihcae mah panoek ai ih hmuennawk to kasae thuih o: moi kasan baktiah angmacae mah panoek o ih hmuennawk hoiah angmacae to amrosak.
11 Woe to them! For they have walked in the way of Cain and have plunged into Balaam's error for profit. They have perished in Korah's rebellion.
Khosak na bing o! Nihcae loe Kain ih loklam ni pazui o boeh, amekhaih hnuk han koeh o pongah Balaam sakpazaehaih thungah akun o moe, Kore lokaekhaih thungah amro o boih boeh.
12 These are the ones who are hidden reefs in your love feasts, when they feast with you shamelessly—shepherds who only feed themselves. They are clouds without rain, carried along by winds. They are autumn trees without fruit—twice dead, torn up by the roots.
To kaminawk loe na koeh o ih poihkung ah, nangcae hoi nawnto buhcaak naah, azathaih tawn ai ah angmacae koeh karoek to buh to a caak o: nihcae loe takhi mah koeh baktiah hmuh ih, khotui kaom ai tamainawk baktiah ni oh o; athaih athai ai, akung kazaem, vai hnetto kadueh, tangzun hoi aphong ih thingkung baktih;
13 They are violent waves in the sea, foaming out their own shame. They are wandering stars, for whom the gloom of thick darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn g165)
kangphui tuipui tuiphunawk baktiah angmacae azathaih to amtueng o sak, dungzan ah khoving tahmuep loe kazawk cakaeh ah kaom nihcae hanah pahoe pae boeh. (aiōn g165)
14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them, saying, “Look! The Lord is coming with thousands and thousands of his holy ones.
Adam hoi sarihto haih ah kaom Enok mah, Khenah, Angraeng loe angmah ih kaciim kami sang hato hoi nawnto angzo ueloe,
15 He is coming to execute judgment on everyone. He is coming to convict all the ungodly of all the works they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh words that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”
kaminawk boih lokcaek tih, Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk boih mah a sak o ih zaehaih baktih, sethaih kawng kathui kazae kaminawk mah Anih kasae thuih o ih zaehaih baktih toengah lokcaek boih tih.
16 These are grumblers, complainers, who follow their evil desires. They are loud boasters, who, for their own advantage, flatter others.
To kaminawk loe laisaep thaih kami, kasae thui thaih kami, angmacae taksa koehhaih baktiah caeh kami ah oh o; nihcae loe amoekhaih lokthui kami, angmacae amekhaih hnuk hanah minawk pahlaw thaih kami ah oh o.
17 But you, beloved, remember the words that were spoken in the past by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Toe palung ih kaminawk, Aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri mah patoeh ih kami ah kaom kaminawk mah ang thuih o ih lok to panoek oh;
18 They said to you, “In the last time there will be mockers who will follow their own ungodly desires.”
nihcae mah nangcae khaeah, Hnukkhuem niah loe, Sithaw koehhaih na ai ah, angmacae taksa koehhaih bangah caeh kaminawk hoi minawk kasae thuih koeh kaminawk to angzo o tih, tiah ang thuih o boeh.
19 It is these who cause divisions; they are worldly and they do not have the Spirit.
Nihcae loe nangcae tapraek kami, long taksa koehhaih patom kami, Muithla tawn ai kami ah oh o.
20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith, and pray in the Holy Spirit.
Toe palung ih kaminawk, Nangcae loe paroeai ciimcai tanghaih ah qoeng o tahang ah loe, Ciimcai Muithla ah lawkthui oh.
21 Keep yourselves in God's love, and wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that brings you eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Nangcae loe Sithaw amlunghaih ah om oh loe, dungzan hing hanah aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri palungnathaih to khen oh. (aiōnios g166)
22 Be merciful to those who doubt.
Pathlaeng thaihaih tawn oh loe, thoemto kaminawk tahmenhaih palungthin to tawn oh:
23 Save others by snatching them out of the fire. To others be merciful with fear. Hate even the garment stained by the flesh.
taksa zaehaih kakap khukbuen to hnuma oh, zithaih palungthin hoiah thoemto kaminawk to hmai thung hoiah pahlong oh.
24 Now to the one who is able to keep you from stumbling and to cause you to stand before his glorious presence without blemish and with great joy,
Nangcae amthaek naah pathawkkung, lensawk angmah hmaa ah thuilaek ai anghoehaih hoiah zaehoikung,
25 to the only God our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and power, before all time, now, and forevermore. Amen. (aiōn g165)
lensawkhaih hoi saiqathaih, ukhaih hoi thacakhaih loe palungha aicae pahlongkung Sithaw khae khue ah, vaihi hoi dungzan khoek to om poe nasoe. Amen. (aiōn g165)
