Job 5
1 Call out now; is there anyone who will answer you? To which of the holy ones will you turn?
Miantsoa ange! moa misy hamaly anao va? Ary iza amin’ ireo masìna no hotodihinao?
2 For anger kills the foolish man; jealousy kills the silly one.
Fa ny adala dia vonoin’ ny fahasosorana, ary ny kely saina dia matin’ ny fialonana.
3 I have seen a foolish person taking root, but suddenly I cursed his home.
Izaho nahita olona adala mamaka, nefa vetivety Indray dia tsy maintsy nanozona ny fonenany aho;
4 His children are far from safety; they are crushed in the city gate. There is no one to rescue them.
Lavitra ny famonjena ny zanany Ka torotoro eo am-bavahady, nefa tsy manan-kamonjy;
5 The hungry eat up their harvest; they even take it from among the thorns. The thirsty pant for their wealth.
Ny vokatry ny taniny dia lanin’ ny noana, eny, alainy na dia voafefy tsilo aza; ary ny fandrika mitanatana vava hahazo ny fananany
6 For difficulties do not come out from the soil; neither does trouble sprout from the ground.
Fa tsy mivoaka avy amin’ ny vovoka ny alahelo, ary tsy mitrebona avy amin’ ny tany ny fahoriana,
7 Instead, mankind is born for trouble, just as sparks fly upward.
Nefa teraka ho amin’ ny fahoriana ny olombelona, dia tahaka ny fanidin’ ny kilalaon’ afo miakatra
8 But as for me, I would turn to God himself; to him I would commit my cause—
Fa raha toa ahy kosa dia hitady an’ Andriamanitra aho, ary Andriamanitra ihany no hotolorako ny teniko,
9 he who does great and unsearchable things, marvelous things without number.
Dia Izay manao zava-dehibe tsy takatry ny saina sy zava-mahagaga tsy hita isa,
10 He gives rain on the earth, and sends water on the fields.
Dia Izay mampilatsaka ranonorana etỳ ambonin’ ny tany ary mampandeha rano eny amin’ ny saha,
11 He does this in order to set up on high those who are low; to raise to safety those who mourn.
Ka apetrany amin’ ny avo Izay ambany, ary asandrany ho amin’ ny fahafinaretana ny miory,
12 He breaks the plans of the crafty people, so that their hands cannot achieve success.
Dia Izay mahafoana ny hevitry ny fetsy, ka tsy hahefan’ ny tànany na inona na inona hahasoa ny tenany;
13 He traps wise people in their own crafty actions; the plans of twisted people are hurried to their end.
Ny fahafetsen’ ny hendry ihany no entiny misambotra azy, ary ny saina ataon’ ny mpiolakolaka dia rava;
14 They encounter darkness in the daytime, and grope at noonday as if it were night.
Na dia amin’ ny antoandro aza dia tafatsarapaka ao amin’ ny maizina ireny ka miraparapa amin’ ny mitataovovonana tahaka ny amin’ ny alina;
15 But he saves the poor person from the sword in their mouths and the needy person from the hand of mighty people.
Fa vonjeny kosa ny malahelo tsy ho voan’ ny sabatry ny vavany; Eny, vonjeny tsy ho azon’ ny tanan’ ny mahery izy.
16 So the poor person has hope, and injustice shuts her own mouth.
Dia misy fanantenana ho an’ ny reraka; fa ny faharatsiana kosa mihombom-bava
17 See, blessed is the man whom God corrects; therefore, do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.
Indro, sambatra ny zanak’ olombelona izay anarin’ Andriamanitra, koa aza atao ho zavatra kely ny famaizan’ ny Tsitoha;
18 For he wounds and then binds up; he wounds and then his hands heal.
Fa sady mandratra Izy no mamehy; Manorotoro Izy, ary ny tànany ihany no manasitrana.
19 He will rescue you out of six troubles; indeed, in seven troubles, no evil will touch you.
Amin’ ny fahoriana enina dia hamonjy anao Izy; Eny, amin’ ny fito aza dia tsy hisy loza hihatra aminao.
20 In famine he will ransom you from death, and in war from the hands of the sword.
Raha avy ny mosary, dia hiaro anao amin’ ny fahafatesana Izy; Ary raha avy ny ady, dia hiaro anao tsy ho voan’ ny sabatra Izy;
21 You will be hidden from the scourge of the tongue; and you will not be afraid of destruction when it comes.
Hampiereny tsy ho voan’ ny kapo-bava ianao, ary tsy hatahotra, raha avy ny fandringanana;
22 You will laugh at destruction and famine, and you will not be afraid of beasts of the earth.
Ny fandringanana sy ny mosary dia hihomehezanao; ary tsy hatahoranao ny bibi-dia;
23 For you will have a covenant with the stones in your field, and the beasts of the field will be at peace with you.
Fa vita fanekena amin’ ny vato any an-tsaha aza ianao; Ary ny bibi-dia hihavana aminao;
24 You will know that your tent is in safety; you will visit your sheepfold and you will not miss anything.
Ary ho hitanao fa ny fiadanana no lainao; Ary raha mizaha ny kijanao ianao, dia ho hitanao fa tsy misy very ny ao;
25 You will also know that your seed will be great, that your offspring will be like the grass on the ground.
Ary ho hitanao koa fa maro ny zanakao, ary ny terakao ho tahaka ny ahitra amin’ ny tany;
26 You will come to your grave at a full age, like a stack of grain bundles that goes up at its time.
Haharitra ianao ambara-piditrao any am-pasana, raha mbola henjana, dia tahaka ny amboaram-bary akarina amin’ ny fotoana.
27 See, we have examined this matter; it is like this; listen to it, and know it for yourself.”
Izany ary no izy, fa efa nandinika azy izahay; Hevero ary izany, ka fantaro tsara.
