< Job 42 >
1 Then Job answered Yahweh and said,
Mgbe ahụ, Job zara Onyenwe anyị sị:
2 “I know that you can do all things, that no purpose of yours can be stopped.
“Amara m na ị pụrụ ime ihe niile; ọ dịghị atụmatụ gị nke a pụrụ ikposa.
3 'Who is this who without knowledge conceals plans?' Indeed, I have spoken things that I did not understand, things too difficult for me to understand, which I did not know about.
Ị jụrụ sị, ‘Onye bụ onye nke a ji okwu ihe ọmụma na-adịghị na ya na-eme ka atụmatụ m ghara ịpụta ihe?’ Nʼezie, ekwuru m banyere ihe ndị m na-aghọtaghị, ihe ndị dị oke ebube karịa m ịmata.
4 You said to me, 'Listen, now, and I will speak; I will ask you things, and you will tell me.'
“Ị sịrị, ‘Gee ntị ugbu a, aga m ekwu okwu; m ga-ajụ gị ajụjụ, gị onwe gị ga-azakwa m.’
5 I had heard about you by my ear's hearing, but now my eye sees you.
Ntị m nụrụ ihe banyere gị ma ugbu a, ejirila m anya abụọ hụ gị.
6 So I despise myself; I repent in dust and ashes.”
7 It came about that after he had said these words to Job, Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has done.
Mgbe Onyenwe anyị gwasịrị Job okwu, ọ tụgharịrị gwa Elifaz onye Teman okwu sị ya, “Ana m ewesa gị na ndị enyi gị abụọ iwe, nʼihi na ihe unu kwuru banyere m ezighị ezi dịka nke ohu m Job kwuru.
8 Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer, so that I may not deal with you after your folly. You have not said what is right about me, as my servant Job has done.”
Ugbu a, werenụ oke ehi asaa na ebule asaa, jekwuru ohu m bụ Job ka o jiri ha chụọrọ unu aja nsure ọkụ, ohu m bụ Job ga-ekpekwara unu ekpere. Aga m anabatakwa ekpere ọ ga-ekpe nʼihi unu. Agaghị m alakwa unu nʼiyi nʼihi okwu nzuzu unu. Unu ekwughị ihe ziri ezi banyere m dịka ohu m Job si kwuo.”
9 So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as Yahweh had commanded them, and Yahweh accepted Job.
Ya mere, Elifaz onye Teman, na Bildad, onye Shu, na Zofa, onye Naaman mere dịka Onyenwe anyị si nye ha nʼiwu. Onyenwe anyị nabatakwara ekpere nke Job kpere nʼihi ndị enyi ya.
10 When Job prayed for his friends, Yahweh restored his fortunes. Yahweh gave him twice as much as he had possessed before.
11 Then all Job's brothers, and all his sisters, and all who knew him before, came to him and ate food with him in his house. They showed him sympathy and comforted him for all the disasters that Yahweh had brought upon him, and each of them gave Job a piece of silver and a ring of gold.
12 Yahweh blessed the final end of Job's life more than the first; he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.
13 He also had seven sons and three daughters.
Chineke mekwara ka ọ mụta ụmụ ndị ikom asaa, na ụmụ ndị inyom atọ ọzọ.
14 He named the first daughter Jemimah, the second Keziah, and the third Keren-Happuch.
Ndị a bụ aha ụmụ ya ndị inyom: nke mbụ bụ Jimaịma, nke abụọ bụ Kezaya, ebe nke atọ bụ Kerin-Hapuk.
15 In all the land no women were found as beautiful as Job's daughters. Their father gave them an inheritance along with their brothers.
Nʼala ahụ niile, o nweghị ụmụ agbọghọ mara mma dịka ụmụ ndị inyom Job ndị a.
16 After this, Job lived 140 years; he saw his sons and his sons' sons, up to four generations.
Job nọgidekwara ndụ narị afọ na iri afọ anọ ọzọ. Ọ hụrụ ụmụ ya, na ụmụ ha ruo ọgbọ nke anọ.
17 Then Job died, being old and full of days.
Job nwụrụ mgbe o mere ezigbo agadi, ụbọchị ndụ ya jukwara ya afọ.
