Job 34
1 Moreover, Elihu continued to speak:
Елиху а луат дин ноу кувынтул ши а зис:
2 “Listen to my words, you wise men; hear me, you who have knowledge.
„Аскултаць, ынцелепцилор, кувинтеле меле! Луаць аминте ла мине, причепуцилор!
3 For the ear tries words as the palate tastes food.
Кэч урекя деосебеште кувинтеле кум густэ черул гурий букателе.
4 Let us choose for ourselves what is just: let us discover among ourselves what is good.
Сэ алеӂем че есте дрепт, сэ ведем ынтре ной че есте бун.
5 For Job has said, 'I am righteous, but God has taken away my rights.
Йов а зис: ‘Сунт невиноват Ши Думнезеу ну вря сэ-мь дя дрептате;
6 Regardless of my rights, I am considered to be a liar. My wound is incurable, although I am without sin.'
ам дрептате ши трек дрепт минчинос; рана мя есте жалникэ, ши сунт фэрэ пэкат.’
7 What man is like Job, who drinks up mockery like water,
Есте вреун ом ка Йов, каре сэ бя батжокура ка апа,
8 who goes around in the company of those who do evil, and who walks with wicked men?
каре сэ умбле ын товэрэшия челор че фак рэу, каре сэ мяргэ мынэ ын мынэ ку чей нелеӂюиць?
9 For he has said, 'It is no use to a person to take pleasure in doing what God wants.'
Кэч ел а зис: ‘Ну-й фолосеште нимик омулуй сэ-шь пунэ плэчеря ын Думнезеу.’
10 So listen to me, you men of understanding: far be it from God that he should do wickedness; far be it from the Almighty that he should commit sin.
Аскултаци-мэ дар, оамень причепуць! Департе де Думнезеу недрептатя, департе де Чел Атотпутерник фэрэделеӂя!
11 For he pays back a person's work; he makes every man come upon the reward of his own ways.
Ел дэ омулуй дупэ фаптеле луй, рэсплэтеште фиекэруя дупэ кэиле луй.
12 Indeed, God does nothing wicked, nor does the Almighty ever pervert justice.
Ну, негрешит, Думнезеу ну сэвыршеште фэрэделеӂя; Чел Атотпутерник ну калкэ дрептатя.
13 Who put him in charge over the earth? Who put the whole world under him?
Чине Л-а ынсэрчинат сэ кырмуяскэ пэмынтул? Чине Й-а дат лумя ын грижа Луй?
14 If he ever set his intentions only on himself, and if he ever gathered back to himself his spirit and his breath,
Дакэ ну с-ар гынди декыт ла Ел, дакэ Шь-ар луа ынапой духул ши суфларя,
15 then all flesh would perish together; mankind would return to dust again.
тот че есте карне ар пери деодатэ ши омул с-ар ынтоарче ын цэрынэ.
16 If now you have understanding, listen to this; listen to the sound of my words.
Дакэ ай причепере, аскултэ лукрул ачеста, я аминте ла гласул кувинтелор меле!
17 Can one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn God, who is righteous and mighty?
Оаре ар путя сэ домняскэ ун врэжмаш ал дрептэций? Ши вей осынди ту пе Чел дрепт, пе Чел путерник,
18 God, who says to a king, 'You are vile,' or says to nobles, 'You are wicked'?
каре стригэ кэтре ымпэраць: ‘Нетребничилор!’ Ши кэтре домниторь: ‘Нелеӂюицилор!’,
19 God, who does not show favoritism to leaders and does not acknowledge rich people more than poor, for they all are the work of his hands.
каре ну каутэ ла фаца челор марь ши ну фаче деосебире ынтре богат ши сэрак, пентру кэ тоць сунт лукраря мынилор Луй?
20 In a moment they will die; at midnight people will be shaken and will pass away; mighty people will be taken away, but not by human hands.
Ынтр-о клипэ, ей ышь перд вяца. Ла мезул нопций, ун попор се клатинэ ши пере. Чел путерник пере, фэрэ аместекул мыний вреунуй ом.
21 For God's eyes are upon a person's ways; he sees all his steps.
Кэч Думнезеу веде пуртаря тутурор, привеште паший фиекэруя.
22 There is no darkness, no thick gloom where the doers of iniquity may hide themselves.
Ну есте нич ынтунерик, нич умбрэ а морций унде сэ се поатэ аскунде чей че фак фэрэделеӂя.
23 For God does not need to examine a person further; there is no need for any person to go before him in judgment.
Думнезеу н-аре невое сэ привяскэ мултэ време ка сэ трагэ пе ун ом ла жудекатэ ынаинтя Луй.
24 He breaks mighty men into pieces for their ways that need no further investigation; he puts others in their places.
Ел здробеште пе чей марь фэрэ черчетаре ши пуне пе алций ын локул лор.
25 In this way he has knowledge of their deeds; he overthrows these people in the night; they are destroyed.
Кэч Ел куноаште фаптеле лор: ноаптя ый рэстоарнэ, сунт здробиць.
26 In the open sight of others, he kills them for their wicked deeds like criminals
Ый ловеште ка пе ниште нелеӂюиць ын фаца тутурор.
27 because they turned away from following him and refused to acknowledge any of his ways.
Абэтынду-се де ла Ел ши пэрэсинд тоате кэиле Луй,
28 In this way, they made the cry of poor people come to him; he heard the cry of afflicted people.
ей ау фэкут сэ се ыналце ла Думнезеу стригэтул сэракулуй. Й-ау ындрептат луаря аминте ла стригэтул челуй ненорочит.
29 When he stays silent, who can condemn him? If he hides his face, who can perceive him? He rules over nation and individual alike,
Дакэ дэ Ел паче, чине поате с-о тулбуре? Дакэ Ышь аскунде Ел Фаца, чине поате сэ-Л вадэ? Ла фел Се поартэ фие ку ун попор, фие ку ун ом,
30 so that a godless man may not rule, so that there may be no one to entrap people.
пентру ка нелеӂюитул сэ ну май стэпыняскэ ши сэ ну май фие о курсэ пентру попор.
31 Suppose someone says to God, 'I am certainly guilty, but I will not sin any longer;
Кэч а зис ел вреодатэ луй Думнезеу: ‘Ам фост педепсит, ну вой май пэкэтуи;
32 teach me what I cannot see; I have committed sin, but I will do it no longer.'
аратэ-мь че ну вэд; дакэ ам фэкут недрептэць, ну вой май фаче’?
33 Do you think that God will punish that person's sin, since you dislike what God does? You must choose, not I. So say what it is that you know.
Оаре дупэ пэреря та ва фаче Думнезеу дрептате? Ту лепезь, ту алеӂь, ши ну еу; Спуне дар че штий!
34 Men of understanding will say to me— indeed, every wise man who hears me will say,
Оамений ку причепере вор фи де пэреря мя, ынцелептул каре м-аскултэ ва гынди ка мине:
35 'Job speaks without knowledge; his words are without wisdom.'
Йов ворбеште фэрэ причепере, ши кувынтэриле луй сунт липсите де жудекатэ.
36 If only Job were put on trial in the smallest details of his case because of his talking like wicked men.
Сэ фие ынчеркат дар май департе, фииндкэ рэспунде ка чей рэй!
37 For he adds rebellion to his sin; he claps his hands in mockery in our midst; he piles up words against God.”
Кэч адаугэ ла грешелиле луй пэкате ной; бате дин палме ын мижлокул ностру, ышь ынмулцеште кувинтеле ымпотрива луй Думнезеу.”
