Job 20
1 Then Zophar the Naamathite answered and said,
അതിന്നു നയമാത്യനായ സോഫർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 “My thoughts make me answer quickly because of the worry that is in me.
ഉത്തരം പറവാൻ എന്റെ നിരൂപണങ്ങൾ പൊങ്ങിവരുന്നു. എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ തത്രപ്പാടു ഹേതുവായിട്ടു തന്നേ.
3 I hear a rebuke that dishonors me, but a spirit from my understanding answers me.
എനിക്കു ലജ്ജാകരമായ ശാസന ഞാൻ കേട്ടു; എന്നാൽ ആത്മാവു എന്റെ വിവേകത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഉത്തരം പറയുന്നു.
4 Do you not know this fact from ancient times, when God placed man on earth:
മനുഷ്യൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഉണ്ടായതുമുതൽ പുരാതനമായ വസ്തുത നീ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?
5 the triumph of a wicked man is short, and the joy of a godless man lasts only for a moment?
ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ജയഘോഷം താല്ക്കാലികമത്രെ; വഷളന്റെ സന്തോഷം ക്ഷണനേരത്തേക്കേയുള്ളു.
6 Though his height reaches up to the heavens, and his head reaches to the clouds,
അവന്റെ മഹിമ ആകാശത്തോളം ഉയർന്നാലും അവന്റെ തല മേഘങ്ങളോളം എത്തിയാലും
7 yet such a person will perish permanently like his own feces; those who have seen him will say, 'Where is he?'
അവൻ സ്വന്തമലംപോലെ എന്നേക്കും നശിക്കും; അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ളവർ അവൻ എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിക്കും.
8 He will fly away like a dream and will not be found; indeed, he will be chased away like a vision of the night.
അവൻ സ്വപ്നംപോലെ പറന്നുപോകും. അവനെ പിന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല; അവൻ രാത്രിദർശനംപോലെ പാറിപ്പോകും.
9 The eye that saw him will see him no more; his place will see him no longer.
അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള കണ്ണു ഇനി അവനെ കാണുകയില്ല; അവന്റെ ഇടം ഇനി അവനെ ദർശിക്കയുമില്ല.
10 His children will apologize to poor people; his hands will have to give back his wealth.
അവന്റെ മക്കൾ ദരിദ്രന്മാരോടു കൃപ യാചിക്കും; അവന്റെ കൈ തന്നേ അവന്റെ സമ്പത്തു മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കും.
11 His bones are full of youthful strength, but it will lie down with him in the dust.
അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിൽ യൗവനം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവ അവനോടുകൂടെ പൊടിയിൽ കിടക്കും.
12 Although wickedness is sweet in his mouth, although he hides it under his tongue,
ദുഷ്ടത അവന്റെ വായിൽ മധുരിച്ചാലും അവൻ അതു നാവിൻ കീഴെ മറെച്ചുവെച്ചാലും
13 although he holds it there and does not let it go but keeps it still in his mouth—
അതിനെ വിടാതെ പിടിച്ചു വായ്ക്കകത്തു സൂക്ഷിച്ചുവെച്ചാലും
14 the food in his intestines turns bitter; it becomes the poison of asps inside him.
അവന്റെ ആഹാരം അവന്റെ കുടലിൽ പരിണമിച്ചു അവന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ സർപ്പവിഷമായിത്തീരും.
15 He swallows down riches, but he will vomit them up again; God will cast them out of his stomach.
അവൻ സമ്പത്തു വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അതു വീണ്ടും ഛർദ്ദിക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ദൈവം അതു അവന്റെ വയറ്റിൽനിന്നു പുറത്താക്കിക്കളയും.
16 He will suck the poison of asps; the viper's tongue will kill him.
അവൻ സർപ്പവിഷം നുകരും; അണലിയുടെ നാവു അവനെ കൊല്ലും.
17 He will not enjoy the streams, the torrents of honey and butter.
തേനും പാൽപാടയും ഒഴുകുന്ന തോടുകളെയും നദികളെയും അവൻ കണ്ടു രസിക്കയില്ല.
18 He will give back the fruit of his labor and will not be able to eat it; he will not enjoy the wealth earned by his commerce.
തന്റെ സമ്പാദ്യം അവൻ അനുഭവിക്കാതെ മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കും; താൻ നേടിയ വസ്തുവകെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം സന്തോഷിക്കയുമില്ല.
19 For he has oppressed and neglected poor people; he has violently taken away houses that he did not build.
അവൻ ദരിദ്രന്മാരെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചുപേക്ഷിച്ചു; താൻ പണിയാത്ത വീടു അപഹരിച്ചു.
20 Because he has known no satisfaction himself, he will not be able to save anything in which he takes pleasure.
അവന്റെ കൊതിക്കു പതംവരായ്കയാൽ അവൻ തന്റെ മനോഹരധനത്തോടുകൂടെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയില്ല.
21 There is nothing left that he did not devour; therefore his prosperity will not be permanent.
അവൻ തിന്നുകളയാതെ ഒന്നും ശേഷിപ്പിക്കയില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ അഭിവൃദ്ധി നിലനില്ക്കയില്ല.
22 In the abundance of his wealth he will fall into trouble; the hand of everyone who is in poverty will come against him.
അവന്റെ സമൃദ്ധിയുടെ പൂർണ്ണതയിൽ അവന്നു ഞെരുക്കം ഉണ്ടാകും; അരിഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കൈ ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെമേൽ വരും.
23 When he is about to fill his stomach, God will throw the fierceness of his wrath on him; God will rain it down on him while he is eating.
അവൻ വയറു നിറെക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ ദൈവം തന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപം അവന്റെ മേൽ അയക്കും; അവൻ ഭക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതു അവന്റെ മേൽ വർഷിപ്പിക്കും.
24 Although that man will flee from the iron weapon, a bow of bronze will shoot him.
അവൻ ഇരിമ്പായുധം ഒഴിഞ്ഞോടും; താമ്രചാപം അവനിൽ അസ്ത്രം തറെപ്പിക്കും.
25 He pulls it out of his back and the gleaming point comes out of his liver. Terrors come over him.
അവൻ പറിച്ചിട്ടു അതു അവന്റെ ദേഹത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറത്തുവരുന്നു; മിന്നുന്ന മുന അവന്റെ പിത്തത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; ഘോരത്വങ്ങൾ അവന്റെമേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
26 Complete darkness is reserved for his treasures; a fire not fanned will devour him; it will consume what is left in his tent.
അന്ധകാരമൊക്കെയും അവന്റെ നിക്ഷേപമായി സംഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ആരും ഊതാത്ത തീക്കു അവൻ ഇരയാകും; അവന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതിനെ അതു ദഹിപ്പിക്കും;
27 The heavens will reveal his iniquity, and the earth will rise up against him as a witness.
ആകാശം അവന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും ഭൂമി അവനോടു എതിർത്തുനില്ക്കും.
28 The wealth of his house will vanish; his goods will flow away on the day of God's wrath.
അവന്റെ വീട്ടിലെ വരവു പോയ്പോകും; അവന്റെ കോപത്തിന്റെ ദിവസത്തിൽ അതു ഒഴുകിപ്പോകും.
29 This is the wicked man's portion from God, the heritage reserved for him by God.”
ഇതു ദുഷ്ടന്നു ദൈവം കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഓഹരിയും ദൈവം അവന്നു നിയമിച്ച അവകാശവും ആകുന്നു.
