Job 10
1 I am weary of my life; I will give free expression to my complaint; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
१माझ्या आत्म्याला जीवीताचा कंटाळा आला आहे, मी मुक्तपणे तक्रार करीन. माझा आत्मा कडूपणेतून बोलेन.
2 I will say to God, 'Do not merely condemn me; show me why you accuse me.
२मी देवाला म्हणेन, मला उगाच दोष देऊ नकोस. तू मजशी विरोध का करतो ते मला सांग.
3 Is it good to you that you should oppress me, to despise the work of your hands while you smile on the plans of the wicked?
३मला कष्ट देण्यात तुला सुख वाटते का? तुझ्या निर्मिती विषयी तुलाच आस्था नसावी असे वाटते, की वाईट लोकांनी ज्या मसलती केल्या त्या बाबतीत तू समाधानी आहेस का?
4 Do you have eyes of flesh? Do you see like a man sees?
४तुला मानवी डोळे आहेत का? लोकांस दिसते ते तुला दिसते का?
5 Are your days like the days of mankind or your years like the years of people,
५तुझे दिवस मनुष्याच्या आयुष्याइतकेच थोडे आहे, किंवा तुझे वर्ष हे लोकांच्या वर्ष सारखे आहे.
6 that you inquire after my iniquity and search after my sin,
६तू माझ्या चुका शोधत असतोस, माझी पापे धुंडाळीत असतोस.
7 although you know I am not guilty and there is no one who can rescue me from your hand?
७मी निष्पाप आहे हे तुला माहित आहे. आणि तुझ्या हातातून मला कोणीही वाचवू शकणार नाही.
8 Your hands have framed and fashioned me together round about, yet you are destroying me.
८तुझ्या हातांनी माझी निर्मिती केली, माझ्या शरीराला आकार दिला, आता तेच हात माझ्याभोवती आवळले जात आहेत आणि माझा नाश करीत आहेत.
9 Call to mind, I beg you, that you have fashioned me like clay; will you bring me into dust again?
९मी विनंती करतो, विचार कर जरा आठव तू मला मातीसारखे बनवलेस. आता तूच परत माझी मातीत मिळवणार आहेस का?
10 Have you not poured me out like milk and curdled me like cheese?
१०तू मला दुधासारखे ओतलेस आणि दही घुसळणाऱ्याप्रमाणे तू मला घुसळून काढले आहेस ना?
11 You have clothed me with skin and flesh and knit me together with bones and sinews.
११हाडे आणि स्नायू यांनी तू मला एकत्र बांधलेस. आणि तू मला कातडीचे व मांसाचे कपडे चढविलेस.
12 You have granted me life and covenant faithfulness; your help has guarded my spirit.
१२तू माझ्यात प्राण ओतलेस आणि माझ्याशी अंत्यत दयाळू राहिलास. तू माझी काळजी वाहिलीस आणि माझ्या जीवाचे रक्षण केलेस.
13 Yet these things you hid in your heart— I know that this is what you were thinking:
१३परंतु तू हे तुझ्या हृदयात लपवून ठेवलेस तू तुझ्या हृदयात याची गुप्तपणे आखणी केलीस हे मला माहित आहे. तुझ्या मनात हेच होते याची जाणीव मला आहे.
14 that if I sinned, you would notice it; you would not acquit me of my iniquity.
१४जर मी पाप करतो तेव्हा तू माझ्यावर नजर ठेवतोस कारण त्यामुळेच माझ्या पापाबद्दल तू मला शिक्षा करशील
15 If I have acted wickedly, woe to me; and even if I acted righteously, I could not lift up my head, since I am filled with disgrace— see my affliction!
१५पाप केल्यावर मी अपराधी असेन आणि माझ्या दृष्टीने ते फारच वाईट असेल. परंतु मी निष्पाप असूनही माथा उंच करु शकत नाही. मला खूप लाज वाटते आणि मी गोंधळून जातो.
16 If my head were lifted up, you would stalk me like a lion; and again you would show yourself with marvellous acts of power against me.
१६मी जेव्हा यशस्वी होतो आणि मला गर्व चढू लागतो तेव्हा सिंह जशा टपून बसून शिकार करतो तशी तू माझी शिकार करतोस. तू तुझे सामर्थ्य पुन्हा माझ्याविरुध्द दाखवितोस.
17 You bring new witnesses against me and increase your anger against me; you attack me with fresh armies.
१७माझी चूक सिध्द करण्यासाठी तू माझ्या विरूद्ध नवीन साक्षीदार आणतोस. आणि माझ्यावरचा तुझा राग अधिकच भडकेल, तू माझ्याविरुध्द सैन्याची आणखी कुमक पुन: पुन्हा आणशील.
18 Why, then, have you brought me out of the womb? I wish I had given up my spirit and that no eye had ever seen me.
१८तू मला जन्माला तरी का घातलेस? आणि मी कुणाच्या दृष्टीस पडण्याआधीच मरण पावलो असतो तर बरे झाले असते.
19 I would have been as though I had never existed; I would have been carried from the womb to the grave.
१९मी जगलोच नसतो तर बरे झाले असते. माझ्या मातेच्या उदरातून मला सरळ थडग्यातच नेले असते तर किती चांगले झाले असते.
20 Are not my days only a few? Stop then, let me alone, so that I may have a little rest
२०माझे आयुष्याचे दिवस थोडे नाहीत काय? म्हणून तू मला एकटे सोड.
21 before I go from where I will not return, to the land of darkness and of the shadow of death,
२१जिथून मी परत येवू शकणार नाही तिथे, अंधार आणि मृत्यूच्या जागी जाण्यापूर्वी जो काही थोडा वेळ माझ्यासाठी उरला आहे त्यामध्ये मला थोडी विश्रांती मिळेल.
22 the land that is as dark as midnight, the land of the shadow of death, without any order, where the light is like midnight.'”
२२जेथे काळोख, निबीड अंधार आहे, अशा मृत्युछायेच्या प्रदेशात मी सांगण्याविणा जाईल, जेथे प्रकाश हा मध्यरात्रीसारखा आहे.
