< Jeremiah 30 >

1 The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,
2 “This is what Yahweh, God of Israel, says, 'Write in a scroll all the words that I have spoken to you.
“Ale Yehowa, Israel ƒe Mawu la gblɔe nye esi: ‘Ŋlɔ nya siwo katã megblɔ na wò la ɖe agbalẽ me’
3 For look, days are coming—this is Yahweh's declaration—when I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah. I, Yahweh, have said it. For I will bring them back to the land that I gave their ancestors, and they will possess it.'”
Yehowa be, ‘Ŋkekewo li gbɔna, esi makplɔ nye dukɔwo Israel kple Yuda agbɔe tso aboyo me, eye magbugbɔ anyigba si metsɔ na wo fofowo be wòanye wo tɔ la na wo.’” Yehowa gblɔe.
4 These are the words that Yahweh declared concerning Israel and Judah,
Nya siawoe Yehowa gblɔ tso Israel kple Yuda ŋuti.
5 “For Yahweh says this, 'We have heard a trembling voice of dread and not of peace.
“Ale Yehowa gblɔe nye esi: “Wose vɔvɔ̃ ƒe avifafa, ŋɔdzi koe li, menye ŋutifafa o.
6 Ask and see if a man bears a child. Why do I see every young man with his hand on his loins like a woman bearing a child? Why have all their faces become pale?
Bia eye nàkpɔe ɖa be, Ɖe ŋutsu afɔ fu ahadzi via?
7 Woe! For that day will be great, with none like it. It will be a time of anxiety for Jacob, but he will be rescued from it.
Alele, anye ŋkeke dziŋɔ eye ɖeke magasɔ kplii o! Anye xaxaɣi na Yakob, ke woaɖee le eme.”
8 For it will be in that day—this is the declaration of Yahweh of hosts—that I will break the yoke off your neck, and I will shatter your chains, so foreigners will no longer enslave you.
Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la be, “Le ŋkeke ma dzi la, maŋe kɔkuti la le woƒe kɔwo eye maɖe ga wo, amedzrowo magado kluvi wo azɔ o.
9 But they will worship Yahweh their God and serve David their king, whom I will make king over them.
10 So you, my servant Jacob, do not fear—this is Yahweh's declaration—and do not be dismayed, Israel. For see, I am about to bring you back from far away, and your descendants from the land of captivity. Jacob will return and be at peace; he will be secure, and there will be no more terror.
“Eya ta mègavɔ̃ o. O, nye dɔla Yakob. O Israel, wò mo megatsi dãa o.” Yehowae gblɔe. “Le nyateƒe me, makplɔ wò tso didiƒenyigba dzi, eye maɖe wò dzidzimeviwo hã tso aboyo me. Yakob aganɔ anyi le ŋutifafa kple dedinɔnɔ me eye ame aɖeke magado vodzi nɛ o.
11 For I am with you—this is Yahweh's declaration—to save you. Then I will bring a complete end to all the nations where I have scattered you. But I will certainly not put an end to you, though I discipline you justly and will certainly not leave you unpunished.'
Meli kpli wò be maɖe wò.” Yehowae gblɔe. “Togbɔ be matsrɔ̃ dukɔ siwo katã me mekaka mi ɖo hã la, nyematsrɔ̃ miawo ya keŋkeŋ o. Nyemagblẽ mi ɖi tomahemahee ya o, mahe to na mi gake ɖe dzɔdzɔenyenye dzi.
12 For Yahweh says this, 'Your injury is incurable; your wound is infected.
“Ale Yehowa gblɔe nye esi: “‘Wò abi la nye abi makumaku, eye nuvevi si wɔ wò la, womate ŋu adae o.
13 There is no one to plead your case; there is no remedy for your wound to heal you.
Ame aɖeke meli aʋli tawò o, atike aɖeke meli na wò abi la o, eya ta dɔyɔyɔ hã meli na wò o.
14 All of your lovers have forgotten you. They will not look for you, for I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy and the discipline of a cruel master because of your many iniquities and your innumerable sins.
Wò lɔlɔ̃tɔwo katã ŋlɔ wò be, wometsɔ ɖeke le eme na wò o. Metu nu kpli wò abe ale si futɔ awɔ wòe ene, eye mehe to na wò abe ale si ŋutasẽla awɔe ene, elabena wò agɔdzedze lolo ŋutɔ, eye wò nu vɔ̃wo hã sɔ gbɔ.
15 Why do you call for help for your injury? Your pain is incurable. Because of your many iniquities, your innumerable sins, I have done these things to you.
Nu ka ŋutie nèle avi fam tso wò abi kple vevesese si dɔyɔyɔ meli na o la ŋuti? Le wò agɔdzedze gbogboawo kple wò nu vɔ̃ gbogboawo tae mewɔ nu siawo katã ɖe ŋutiwò ɖo.
16 So everyone who consumes you will be consumed, and all of your adversaries will go into captivity. For the ones who have plundered you will become plunder, and I will make all of the ones despoiling you a spoil.
“‘Gake ame siwo katã vuvu wò la woavuvu wo, eye wò futɔwo katã ayi aboyo me. Ame siwo ha wò la, woaha woawo hã. Ame siwo wɔ wò abe afunyinuwo ene la, mawɔ woawo hã abe afunyinuwo ene.
17 For I will bring healing on you; I will heal you of your wounds—this is Yahweh's declaration— I will do this because they called you: Outcast. No one cares for this Zion.'”
Ke mana nàhaya, eye mana wò abiawo naku, elabena woyɔ wò be saɖagatɔ, Zion si ame aɖeke mebiaa eta sena o.’” Yehowae gblɔe.
18 Yahweh says this, “See, I am about to bring back the fortunes of Jacob's tents and have compassion on his homes. Then a city will be built on the heap of ruins, and a stronghold will exist again where it used to be.
“Ale Yehowa gblɔe nye esi: “‘Kpɔ ɖa, magaɖo Yakob ƒe aƒe ƒe nu nyuiwo te eye makpɔ nublanui na eƒe nɔƒewo; woagbugbɔ du la atso ɖe gli gbagbãwo teƒe eye woatu fiasã la ɖe eƒe nɔƒe xoxoa.
19 Then a song of praise and a sound of merriment will go out from them, for I will increase them and not diminish them; I will honor them so they will not be humbled.
Kafukafuha kple aseyetsogbe aɖi tso wo dome. Mana woadzi ɖe edzi eye wo dzi maɖe akpɔtɔ o. Made bubu wo ŋu eye womaɖi gbɔ̃ o.
20 Then their people will be like before, and their assembly will be established before me when I punish all the ones who are now tormenting them.
Wo viwo anɔ abe le blema ƒe ɣeyiɣiwo me ene eye woƒe amehawo ali ke le ŋkunye me. Mahe to na ame siwo katã te wo ɖe to.
21 Their leader will come from among them. He will emerge from their midst when I draw him near and when he approaches me. If I do not do this, who would dare come close to me?—this is Yahweh's declaration.
Woƒe kplɔla anye woawo ŋutɔ dometɔ ɖeka eye woƒe fia ado tso woawo ŋutɔ dome. Matee vɛ kpokploe eye wòate ɖe ŋunye nyuie. Elabena ame kae atsɔ eɖokui ana blibo be wòate ɖe ŋutinye kpokploe?
22 Then you will be my people, and I will be your God.
Ale be mianye nye dukɔ eye nye hã manye miaƒe Mawu.’” Yehowae gblɔe.
23 See, the tempest of Yahweh, his fury, has gone out. It is a continual tempest. It will whirl on the heads of the wicked people.
Kpɔ ɖa, Yehowa ƒe ahom atu sesĩe le dziku helĩhelĩ me, eye yali abla ɖe ta ŋu na ame vɔ̃ɖiwo kɔtɔɔ.
24 Yahweh's wrath will not return until it has carried out and brought into being his heart's intentions. In the final days, you will understand it.”
