< James 3 >

1 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.
Holo bhane, si aje muwantu mubhinji mhwanziwa abhe manyizi, nyamumenye aje mwailongwa tee.
2 For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in words, he is a perfect man, able to control even his whole body.
Afuatanaje tenti tikosela humadala minji, nkashe whawhonti wa sabomela hunongwa zakwe, oyo muntu we lyoli, awezizye agukhane obele gwakwe gwonti nantele.
3 Now if we put bits into horses' mouths for them to obey us, we can also direct their whole bodies.
Esheshi nkatibhea lwabho lwe fwalasi, humalomgabho bhahweteha, na tigalulanya amabele gawho gonti.
4 Notice also that ships, although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, are steered by a very small rudder to wherever the pilot desires.
Timanye nantele aje emeli, ata ngosi ebuhwa nehala ehali, zilongozewa no usukanani ododo teee abhale paponti pasongwa awale wajenzya.
5 Likewise the tongue is a small body part, yet it boasts great things. Notice also how small a fire sets on fire a large forest.
Shesho shesho, umele shiungo shidoodo she bele, shihwisombezya amagosi tee. Enyaji isengo igosi shali kholezewa nomwonga gwe mwoto.
6 The tongue is also a fire, a world of sinfulness set among our body parts. It stains the whole body and sets on fire the course of life. It is itself set on fire by hell. (Geenna g1067)
Omele nantele mwoto munsi ye mabhibhi, gubheshelwe mhati ye viungo vye bele gwetu, ambago gwankanya obele gwonti naweshe pamwanya pamwote amadala gelwizyo, olwetu tete na pembee omwoto gwa hwilongo. (Geenna g1067)
7 For every kind of wild animal, bird, reptile, and sea creature is being tamed and has been tamed by mankind.
Enyama zyonti zya mwipoli, nyonyi, na vyarihwavula na shiumbe sha shamunsombe shikhatililwa na bhantu,
8 But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
nantele nomo umuntu ata weka waga wezya agukhane omele, wohwu wiwi wasaga upoma, umemile sumu ye buda.
9 With it we praise the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness.
Hu mele tasombezya Ongolobhe Baba wetu, antele gwogwo tawapela awantu amakhosi awantu bhabhawombwelwe ofwano gwa Ngolobhe.
10 Out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things should not happen.
Nante omele gwogwo guyanga enongwa zye nsayo na makhosi. Bhaholo bhane enongwa izi sezi wanziwa abhee.
11 Does a spring pour out from its opening both sweet and bitter water?
Aje ilende limo ligafumya amenze aminza na mabhibhi?
12 Does a fig tree, my brothers, make olives? Or a grapevine, figs? Neither can salty water produce sweet water.
Bhaholo bhana aje, ikwi lya mwiki lipapa endondo zya mpoli, mzabibu gupapa endondo zya mwikwi? Nantele alobhe hemenze ge mwomisehafumya amenze gase ge mwoni.
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let that person show a good life by his works in the humility of wisdom.
Wenu mhati yenyu wali neshinsi ne njele? Eshi omuntu oyo abhonesye olwizyo olwinza hu mbombo zyakwe hulishilo lwa lufuma ne nshinshi.
14 But if you have bitter jealousy and ambition in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth.
Ila nkashe mlinokelo okhali no mwoyo gwa hwilole moyo genyu, mungaje ahwilole na yanje ilenka mukhana zye lyoli.
15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above. Instead, it is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
Ene saga nshishi yefuma hula humwanya, ila baada yesho ye zya munsi se ye shiroho ia ye mapepo.
16 For where there are jealousy and ambition, there is confusion and every evil practice.
Afwataneje papali okelo na wilole epo pali nibho ne mbombo embibhi
17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
Ila enshinshi yefuma amwanya eli nyinza antele esongwa olwomvwana, ohogowe nenpyiana, omwene amemile humbombo enyinza bila apendelele awantu fulani, ne lyoti.
18 The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace among those who make peace.
Na itunda lyelyoli litotwa hu uwinza wala bhabhawomba enongwa inyinza.
