Isaiah 7
1 During the days of Ahaz son of Jotham son of Uzziah, king of Judah, Rezin the king of Aram, and Pekah son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to war against it, but they could not prevail against it.

2 It was reported to the house of David that Aram was allied with Ephraim. His heart trembled, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest shake in the wind.
Oni raportis al la domo de David, dirante: La Sirianoj stariĝis tendare en la lando de Efraim. Tiam ektremis lia koro kaj la koro de lia popolo, kiel la arboj de arbaro tremas de vento.
3 Then Yahweh said to Isaiah, “Go out with your son Shear-Jashub to meet Ahaz at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, on the road to Launderer's Field.
Sed la Eternulo diris al Jesaja: Iru renkonte al Aĥaz, vi kaj via filo Ŝear-Jaŝub, al la fino de la akvotubo de la supra lageto, ĉe la vojo al la kampo de fulistoj,
4 Tell him, 'Be careful, remain calm, do not be afraid or intimidated by these two smoldering firebrands, by the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram, and of Pekah son of Remaliah.
kaj diru al li: Gardu vin, kaj estu trankvila; ne timu, kaj via koro ne senkuraĝiĝu pro la du fumantaj brulŝtipoj, pro la furiozo de Recin kun la Sirianoj kaj de la filo de Remalja.
5 Aram, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah have planned evil against you; they have said,
La Sirianoj, kun Efraim kaj kun la filo de Remalja, havas malbonan intencon kontraŭ vi, kaj diras:
6 “Let us attack Judah and terrify her, and let us break into her and set up our king there, the son of Tabeel.”
Ni iru kontraŭ Judujon, ni malgrandigu ĝin, malkovru ĝin por ni, kaj ni starigu kiel reĝon super ĝi la filon de Tabeel.
7 The Lord Yahweh says, “It will not take place; it will not happen,
Tiele diris la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Tio ne plenumiĝos, kaj tio ne estos.
8 because the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin. Within sixty-five years, Ephraim will be shattered and will no longer be a people.
Ĉar la kapo de Sirio estas Damasko, kaj la kapo de Damasko estas Recin, kaj post sesdek kvin jaroj Efraim ĉesos esti popolo.
9 The head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If you do not remain firm in faith, surely you will not remain secure.”'”
Kaj la kapo de Efraim estas Samario, kaj la kapo de Samario estas la filo de Remalja. Se vi ne kredas, vi ne estas fidelaj.
10 The Lord spoke again to Ahaz,
Kaj plue diris la Eternulo: Diru al Aĥaz jene:
Petu por vi signon de la Eternulo, via Dio, ĉu profunde malsupre, ĉu alte supre. (Sheol h7585)
12 But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, nor will I test Yahweh.”
Sed Aĥaz diris: Mi ne petos, kaj mi ne incitos la Eternulon.
13 So Isaiah replied, “Listen, house of David. Is it not enough for you people to test the patience of people? Must you also test the patience of my God?
Kaj li diris: Aŭskultu, domo de David: ĉu ne sufiĉas al vi ĉagreni homojn, ke vi ĉagrenas eĉ mian Dion?
14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you people a sign: See, the young woman will conceive, bear a son, and will call his name Immanuel.
Tial la Sinjoro mem donos al vi signon: jen virgulino gravediĝis, kaj ŝi naskos filon, kaj ŝi donos al li la nomon Emanuel.
15 He will eat curds and honey when he knows to refuse the evil and choose the good.
Buteron kaj mielon li manĝos, ĝis li povoscios forpuŝi malbonon kaj elekti bonon.
16 For before the child knows to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land whose two kings you dread will be desolate.
Sed antaŭ ol la knabo povoscios forpuŝi malbonon kaj elekti bonon, estos forlasita tiu lando, kiun vi timas pro ĝiaj du reĝoj.
17 Yahweh will bring on you, on your people, and on your father's house days unlike any since Ephraim seceded from Judah—he will bring on you the king of Assyria.”
La Eternulo venigos sur vin kaj sur vian popolon kaj sur la domon de via patro tiajn tagojn, kiuj ne venis de post la tempo, kiam Efraim defalis de Jehuda; Li venigos la reĝon de Asirio.
18 At that time Yahweh will whistle for a fly from the distant streams of Egypt, and for a bee from the land of Assyria.
En tiu tago la Eternulo alvokos la muŝojn de la randoj de la lagoj de Egiptujo kaj la abelojn de la lando Asiria;
19 They will all come and settle down into all the gorges, into the clefts of the rocks, on all the thornbushes, and onto all the pastures.
kaj ili venos kaj sidiĝos ĉiuj en la dezertigitaj valoj kaj en la fendoj de la rokoj kaj sur ĉiuj arbustoj kaj sur ĉiuj pikarbetaĵoj.
20 At that time the Lord will shave with a razor that was hired beyond the Euphrates River—the king of Assyria— the head and the hair of the legs; it will also sweep away the beard.
En tiu tempo la Eternulo razos per dungita razilo, per la transriveranoj, per la reĝo de Asirio, la kapon kaj la harojn de la piedoj, kaj forigos eĉ la barbon.
21 On that day, a man will keep alive a young cow and two sheep,
En tiu tempo homo nutros junan bovinon kaj du ŝafojn;
22 and because of the abundance of milk which they shall give, he will eat curds, for everyone left in the land will eat curds and honey.
kaj pro la abundo de lakto li manĝos buteron; ĉar buteron kaj lakton manĝos ĉiu, kiu restos en la lando.
23 At that time, where there were a thousand vines worth a thousand silver shekels, there will be nothing but briers and thorns.
En tiu tempo ĉiu loko, kie estis mil vinberbranĉoj, havantaj la prezon de mil arĝentaj moneroj, kovriĝos per dornoj kaj pikarbustoj.
24 Men will go there to hunt with bows, because all the land will be briers and thorns.
Kun sagoj kaj pafarkoj oni venos tien, ĉar la tuta lando kovriĝos per dornoj kaj pikarbustoj.
25 They will stay away from all the hills that were cultivated with the hoe, for fear of the briers and thorns; but it will be a place where cattle and sheep graze.
Kaj sur ĉiujn montojn, kiujn oni prilaboradis per pioĉoj, oni ne povos supreniri pro timo antaŭ la dornoj kaj pikarbustoj; oni sendos tien bovojn, oni irigos tien ŝafojn.
