< Isaiah 63 >
1 Who is this who comes from Edom, clothed in red from Bozrah? Who is he in royal clothing, marching confidently because of his great strength? It is I, speaking righteousness and powerfully able to save.
Ame kae nye esi gbɔna tso Bozra le Edom, eye aŋɔ dzĩ ƒo eƒe awuwo? Ame kae nye esi ɖo atsyɔ̃, eye wòle zɔzɔm le eƒe ŋusẽ triakɔ me? “Nyee le nu ƒom le dzɔdzɔenyenye me. Ŋusẽ le asinye be maɖe ame.”
2 Why are your clothes red, and why do they look like you have been treading grapes in a winepress?
Nu ka ta wò awuwo biã abe ame si le wain fiam la tɔwo ene?
3 I have trodden grapes in the winepress alone, and no one from the nations joined me. I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my fury. Their blood is spattered on my clothes and stained all my clothes.
“Nye ɖekae fia wain le wainfiaƒe, ame aɖeke metso dukɔwo dome va kpe ɖe ŋunye o. Mefanya wo le nye dziku me, eye menya avuzi le wo dzi le nye dɔmedzoe helĩhelĩ la me. Woƒe ʋue hlẽ ɖe nye awuwo me, eye woƒe ʋu ƒo nu siwo medo,
4 For I looked forward to the day of vengeance, and the year for my redemption had arrived.
elabena hlɔ̃biaŋkeke le nye dzi me, eye nye ɖeɖe ƒe ƒe la va ɖo.
5 I looked, and there was no one to help. I wondered that there was none to help, but my own arm brought victory for me, and my strong anger drove me on.
Metsa ŋku, ke ame aɖeke meli ana kpekpeɖeŋu o. Nye mo wɔ yaa be ame aɖeke meva na kpekpeɖeŋu o. Tete nye ŋutɔ nye abɔ xɔ nam, eye nye dɔmedzoe lém ɖe te.
6 I trampled down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their blood on the earth.
Mefanya dukɔwo le nye dziku me. Le nye dɔmedzoe helĩhelĩ la me, mena womu aha, eye metrɔ woƒe ʋu kɔ ɖe anyigba.”
7 I will tell of the acts of Yahweh's covenant faithfulness, the praiseworthy deeds of Yahweh. I will tell of all that Yahweh has done for us, and of his great goodness to the house of Israel. This compassion he has shown us because of his mercy, and with many deeds of covenant faithfulness.

9 Through all their suffering, he suffered too, and the angel from his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he saved them, and he lifted them up and carried them through all the ancient times.

11 His people thought about the ancient times of Moses. They said, “Where is God, who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is God, who put his Holy Spirit among them?
Tete eƒe dukɔ la ɖo ŋku blemaŋkekeawo dzi, Mose kple eƒe amewo ƒe ŋkekewo hebia be afi ka ame si nye eƒe alẽhawo ƒe kplɔla, si kplɔ wo to atsiaƒu me la le? Afi ka ame si dɔ eƒe Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe la ɖe wo dome,
12 Where is God, who made his glorious power go with the right hand of Moses, and divided the water before them, to make an everlasting name for himself?

14 As the cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of Yahweh gave them rest. So you led your people, to make yourself a name of praise.

15 Look down from heaven and take notice from your holy and glorious habitation. Where are your zeal and your mighty acts? Your pity and your compassionate actions are kept from us.
