Isaiah 60
1 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen on you.
“Levante-se, brilhe; pois sua luz chegou, e a glória de Yahweh subiu sobre você!
2 Though darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the nations; yet Yahweh will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen on you.
Pois eis que a escuridão cobrirá a terra, e a escuridão espessa dos povos; mas Yahweh se levantará sobre você, e sua glória será vista em você.
3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to your bright light that is rising.
As nações virão à sua luz, e reis para o brilho de sua ascensão.
4 Look all around and see. They all gather themselves together and come to you. Your sons will come from far, and your daughters will be carried in their arms.
“Levante os olhos para todos os lados e veja: todos eles se reúnem. Eles vêm até você. Seus filhos virão de muito longe, e suas filhas serão carregadas em armas.
5 Then you will look and be radiant, and your heart shall rejoice and overflow, because the abundance of the sea will be poured out to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you.
Então você deve ver e estar radiante, e seu coração se entusiasmará e será aumentado; porque a abundância do mar será voltada para você. A riqueza das nações virá até você.
6 Camel caravans will cover you, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all of them will come from Sheba; they will bring gold and frankincense, and will sing the praises of Yahweh.
Uma multidão de camelos o cobrirá, os dromedários de Midian e Ephah. Tudo de Sheba virá. Eles trarão ouro e incenso, e proclamará os louvores de Yahweh.
7 All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve your needs; they will be acceptable offerings on my altar; and I will glorify my glorious house.
Todos os rebanhos de Kedar serão reunidos a você. Os carneiros de Nebaioth lhe servirão. Eles serão aceitos como oferendas em meu altar; e eu embelezarei minha gloriosa casa.
8 Who are these who fly along like a cloud, and like the doves to their shelters?
“Quem são estes que voam como uma nuvem, e como as pombas às suas janelas?
9 The coastlands look for me, and the ships of Tarshish lead, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has honored you.
Certamente as ilhas vão esperar por mim, e os navios de Tarshish primeiro, para trazer seus filhos de longe, sua prata e seu ouro com eles, pelo nome de Yahweh, seu Deus, e para o Santo de Israel, porque ele o glorificou.
10 Sons of foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you; though in my wrath I punished you, yet in my favor I will have compassion on you.
“Os estrangeiros construirão seus muros, e seus reis o servirão; pois, na minha ira, eu o atingi, mas em meu favor tive misericórdia de vocês.
11 Your gates also will remain open continually; they will not be shut day or night, so that the wealth of the nations may be brought, with their kings being led.
Seus portões também estarão abertos continuamente; não estarão fechados nem de dia nem de noite, para que os homens possam trazer até você a riqueza das nações, e seus reis sejam levados cativos.
12 Indeed, nations and kingdoms that will not serve you will perish; those nations will be completely destroyed.
Pois aquela nação e reino que não vos servirão perecerão; sim, essas nações serão totalmente desperdiçadas.
13 The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the cypress tree, the fir, and the cypress box tree together, to beautify my sanctuary; and I will glorify the place of my feet.
“A glória do Líbano virá até você, o cipreste, o pinheiro e a árvore da caixa juntos, para embelezar o lugar do meu santuário; e eu farei glorioso o lugar dos meus pés.
14 They will come to you to bow down, the sons of those who humbled you; they will bow at your feet; they will call you The City of Yahweh, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Os filhos daqueles que vos afligiram virão curvar-se diante de vós; e todos aqueles que o desprezaram se curvarão na sola de seus pés. Eles o chamarão de Cidade de Yahweh, a Sião do Santo de Israel.
15 Instead of you remaining abandoned and hated, with no one passing through you, I will make you a thing of pride forever, a joy from generation to generation.
“Considerando que você foi abandonado e odiado, para que ninguém passasse por você, Eu farei de vocês uma eterna excelência, uma alegria de muitas gerações.
16 You will also drink the milk of the nations, and will nurse at the breast of kings; you will know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
Você também irá beber o leite das nações, e cuidará dos seios reais. Então você saberá que eu, Yahweh, sou seu Salvador, seu Redentor, o Poderoso de Jacob.
17 Instead of bronze I will bring gold, instead of iron I will bring silver; instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. I will appoint peace as your governors, and justice your rulers.
Para o bronze eu trarei ouro; para o ferro eu trarei prata; para madeira, bronze, e para as pedras, o ferro. Também farei da paz seu governador, e a justiça de seu governante.
18 Violence will no longer be heard in your land, or devastation nor shattering within your borders; but you will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
A violência não será mais ouvida em sua terra, nem desolação ou destruição dentro de suas fronteiras; mas você chamará suas paredes de Salvação, e seus portões elogios.
19 The sun will no longer be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you; but Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and your God your glory.
O sol não será mais sua luz durante o dia, nem a luminosidade da lua lhe dará luz, mas Yahweh será sua luz eterna, e seu Deus será sua glória.
20 Your sun will no longer set, nor will your moon withdraw and disappear; for Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be ended.
Seu sol não se porá mais, nem sua lua se retirará; para Yahweh será sua luz eterna, e os dias de seu luto terminarão.
21 All your people will be righteous; they will take possession of the land for all time, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
Então seu povo será todo justo. Eles herdarão a terra para sempre, o ramo do meu plantio, o trabalho de minhas mãos, que eu possa ser glorificado.
22 The little one shall become a thousand, and the small one a strong nation; I, Yahweh, will swiftly accomplish these things when the time comes.
O pequeno se tornará um milhar, e a pequena, uma nação forte. Eu, Yahweh, farei isso rapidamente em seu tempo”.
