Isaiah 33
1 Woe to you, destroyer who has not been destroyed! Woe to the betrayer whom they have not betrayed! When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed. When you stop betraying, they will betray you.
௧கொள்ளையிடப்படாமலிருந்தும், கொள்ளையிடுகிறவனும், துரோகம் செய்யாதிருக்கிறவர்களுக்குத் துரோகம் செய்கிறவனுமாகிய உனக்கு ஐயோ, நீ கொள்ளையிட்டு முடிந்தபின்பு கொள்ளையிடப்படுவாய்; நீ துரோகம் செய்துமுடிந்தபின்பு உனக்குத் துரோகம்செய்வார்கள்.
2 Yahweh, be gracious to us; we wait for you; be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.
௨யெகோவாவே, எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும், உமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறோம்; தேவரீர் காலையில் அவர்களுடைய புயமும், இக்கட்டுக்காலத்தில் எங்கள் இரட்சிப்புமாயிரும்.
3 At the loud noise the peoples flee; when you arise, the nations are scattered.
௩அமளியின் சத்தத்தினாலே மக்கள் அலைந்தோடி, நீர் எழுந்திருக்கும்போது தேசங்கள் சிதறடிக்கப்படும்.
4 Your spoil is gathered as the locusts gather; as locusts leap, men leap on it.
௪வெட்டுக்கிளிகள் சேர்க்கிறதுபோல உங்கள் கொள்ளை சேர்க்கப்படும்; வெட்டுக்கிளிகள் குதித்துத் திரிகிறதுபோல மனிதர்கள் அதின்மேல் குதித்துத் திரிவார்கள்.
5 Yahweh is exalted. He lives in a high place. He will fill Zion with justice and righteousness.
௫யெகோவா உயர்ந்தவர், அவர் உன்னதத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவர் சீயோனை நியாயத்தினாலும் நீதியினாலும் நிரப்புகிறார்.
6 He will be the stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of Yahweh is his treasure.
௬பூரண இரட்சிப்பும் ஞானமும் அறிவும் உன் காலங்களுடைய உறுதியாயிருக்கும்; யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயப்படுதலே உன்னுடைய பொக்கிஷம்.
7 Look, their envoys cry in the streets; the diplomats hoping for peace weep bitterly.
௭இதோ, அவர்களுடைய பராக்கிரமசாலிகள் வெளியிலே அலறுகிறார்கள்; சமாதானத்து பிரதிநிதிகள் மனங்கசந்து அழுகிறார்கள்.
8 The highways are deserted; there are no more travelers. Covenants are broken, witnesses are despised, and mankind is not respected.
௮பாதைகள் பாழாயின; வழிப்போக்கர்கள் இல்லை; உடன்படிக்கையை மீறுகிறான்; நகரங்களை இகழுகிறான்; மனிதனை மதிக்காமல் போகிறான்.
9 The land mourns and withers away; Lebanon is ashamed and withers away; Sharon is like a desert plain; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.
௯தேசம் துக்கித்து சோர்வடைந்திருக்கிறது; லீபனோன் வெட்கி வாடுகிறது; சாரோன் வனாந்திரத்திற்கு ஒப்பாகிறது; பாசானும் கர்மேலும் பாழாக்கப்படுகிறது.
10 “Now will I arise,” says Yahweh; “now I will be lifted up; now I will be elevated.
௧0இப்பொழுது எழுந்தருளுவேன், இப்பொழுது உயருவேன், இப்பொழுது மேன்மைப்படுவேன் என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
11 You conceive chaff, and you give birth to stubble; your breath is a fire that will consume you.
௧௧பதரைக் கர்ப்பந்தரித்து வைக்கோலைப் பெறுவீர்கள்; நெருப்பைப்போல் உங்கள் சுவாசமே உங்களை சுட்டெரிக்கும்.
12 The peoples will be burned to lime, as thornbushes are cut down and are burned.
௧௨மக்கள் சுண்ணாம்பைப்போல நீர்த்துப்போவார்கள்; வெட்டப்பட்ட முட்செடிகளைப்போலத் தீயில் எரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
13 You who are far away, hear what I have done; and, you who are near, acknowledge my might.”
௧௩தூரத்திலுள்ளவர்களே, நான் செய்கிறதைக் கேளுங்கள்; சமீபத்திலிருக்கிறவர்களே, என் பராக்கிரமத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள் என்கிறார்.
14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless ones. Who among us can sojourn with a raging fire? Who among us can sojourn with everlasting burnings?
௧௪சீயோனிலுள்ள பாவிகள் திகைக்கிறார்கள்; மாயக்காரர்களை நடுக்கம்பிடிக்கிறது; சுட்டெரிக்கும் நெருப்பிற்கு முன்பாக நம்மில் தங்கியிருப்பவன் யார்? நிலையான நெருப்புத்தழலுக்கு முன்பாக நம்மில் குடியிருப்பவன் யார் என்கிறார்கள்.
15 He who walks righteously and speaks honestly; who despises the gain of oppression, who shakes his hand so that it will not accept a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed, and who shuts his eyes from looking on evil—
௧௫நீதியாக நடந்து, செம்மையானவைகளைப் பேசி, துன்பம் செய்வதால் வரும் ஆதாயத்தை வெறுத்து, லஞ்சங்களை வாங்காதபடிக்குத் தன் கைகளை உதறி, இரத்தம் சிந்துவதற்கான யோசனைகளைக் கேளாதபடிக்குத் தன் செவியை அடைத்து, பொல்லாப்பைக் காணாதபடிக்குத் தன் கண்களை மூடுகிறவன் எவனோ,
16 this is the man who will dwell on the heights, his place of defense will be the fortress among the cliffs, his food will be given, and his water will be in steady supply.
௧௬அவன் உயர்ந்த இடங்களில் குடியிருப்பான்; கன்மலைகளின் பாதுகாப்பு அவனுடைய உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமாகும்; அவனுடைய உணவு அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்; அவனுடைய தண்ணீர் அவனுக்கு நிச்சயமாகக் கிடைக்கும்.
17 Your eyes will see the king in his beauty; they will see a land off in the distance.
௧௭உன் கண்கள் ராஜாவை மகிமை பொருந்தினவராகக் காணும், தூரத்திலுள்ள தேசத்தையும் பார்க்கும்.
18 Your heart will recall the terror; where is the scribe, where is he who weighed the money? Where is he who counted the towers?
௧௮உன் மனம் பயங்கரத்தை நினைவுகூரும்; கணக்காளன் எங்கே? தண்டல்காரன் எங்கே? கோபுரங்களை எண்ணினவன் எங்கே?
19 You will no longer see the defiant people, a people of a strange language that you do not understand.
௧௯உனக்குப் புரியாத மொழியையும், புரிந்துகொள்வதற்குக் கடினமான ஒருவிதமான பேச்சையுமுடைய அந்தக் கொடூர மக்களை இனி நீ பார்க்கமாட்டாய்.
20 Look at Zion, the city of our feasts; your eyes will see Jerusalem as a quiet habitation, a tent that will not be removed, whose stakes will never be pulled up nor will any of its cords be broken.
௨0நம்முடைய பண்டிகைகள் அனுசரிக்கப்படும் நகரமாகிய சீயோனை நோக்கிப்பார்; உன் கண்கள் எருசலேமை அமைதலான குடியிருப்பாகவும், பெயர்க்கப்படாத கூடாரமாகவும் காணும்; இனி அதின் முளைகள் என்றைக்கும் பிடுங்கப்படுவதுமில்லை, அதின் கயிறுகளில் ஒன்றும் அறுந்துபோவதுமில்லை.
21 Instead, Yahweh in majesty will be with us, in a place of broad rivers and streams. No warship with oars will travel it, and no large ships will sail by.
௨௧மகிமையுள்ள யெகோவா அங்கே நமக்கு மிக அகலமான நதிகளும் ஆறுகளுமுள்ள இடம் போலிருப்பார்; தண்டுவலிக்கிற படகு அங்கே ஓடுவதும் இல்லை; பெரிய கப்பல் அங்கே கடந்துவருவதும் இல்லை.
22 For Yahweh is our judge, Yahweh is our lawgiver, Yahweh is our king; he will save us.
௨௨யெகோவா நம்முடைய நியாயாதிபதி, யெகோவா நம்முடைய நியாயப்பிரமாணிகர், யெகோவா நம்முடைய ராஜா, அவர் நம்மை காப்பாற்றுவார்.
23 Your riggings are slack; they cannot hold the mast in place; they cannot spread the sail; when the great spoil is divided, even the lame will drag off the spoil.
௨௩உன் கயிறுகள் தளர்ந்துபோகும்; பாய்மரத்தைப் பலப்படுத்தவும், பாயை விரிக்கவும் முடியாமற்போகும்; அப்பொழுது திரளான கொள்ளைப்பொருள் பங்கிடப்படும்; சப்பாணிகளும் கொள்ளையிடுவார்கள்.
24 The inhabitants will not say, “I am sick;” the people who live there will be forgiven for their iniquity.
௨௪வியாதிப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன் என்று நகரவாசிகள் சொல்வதில்லை; அதில் குடியிருக்கிற மக்களின் அக்கிரமம் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்.
