Isaiah 25
1 Yahweh, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name; for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in perfect faithfulness.
௧யெகோவாவே, நீரே என் தேவன்; உம்மை உயர்த்தி, உமது நாமத்தைத் துதிப்பேன்; நீர் அதிசயமானவைகளைச் செய்தீர்; உமது முந்தின ஆலோசனைகள் சத்தியமும் உறுதியுமானவைகள்.
2 For you have made the city a heap, a fortified city, a ruin, and a fortress of strangers into no city.
௨நீர் எங்களுடைய எதிரியின் நகரத்தை மண்மேடும், பாதுகாப்பான பட்டணத்தைப் பாழுமாக்கினீர்; அந்நியரின் தலைநகரை நகரமாக இராதபடிக்கும், என்றைக்கும் கட்டப்படாதபடிக்கும் செய்தீர்.
3 Therefore a strong people will glorify you; a city of ruthless nations will fear you.
௩ஆகையால் பலத்த மக்கள் உம்மை மகிமைப்படுத்துவார்கள்; கொடூரமான தேசங்களின் நகரம் உமக்குப் பயப்படும்.
4 For you have been a place of safety for the one who is poor, a shelter for the one who is needy in his distress— a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. When the breath of the ruthless was like a storm against a wall,
௪கொடூரமானவர்களின் சீறல் மதிலை மோதியடிக்கிற பெருவெள்ளத்தைப்போல் இருக்கும்போது, நீர் ஏழைக்குப் பெலனும், நெருக்கப்படுகிற எளியவனுக்குத் திடனும், பெருவெள்ளத்திற்குத் தப்பும் அடைக்கலமும், வெயிலுக்கு ஒதுங்கும் நிழலுமானீர்.
5 and like heat in a dry land, you subdued the noise of foreigners, as the heat is subdued by the shade of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless ones is answered.
௫வறட்சியான இடத்தின் வெப்பம் மேகத்தினால் தணிவதுபோல், அந்நியரின் மும்முரத்தைத் தணியச்செய்வீர்; மேகத்தின் நிழலினால் வெயில் தணிகிறதுபோல் பெலவந்தரின் ஆரவாரம் தணியும்.
6 On this mountain Yahweh of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of fat things, of choice wines, of tender meats, a feast on the lees.
௬சேனைகளின் யெகோவா இந்த மலையிலே சகல மக்களுக்கும் ஒரு விருந்தை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துவார்; அது கொழுமையான பதார்த்தங்களும், பழமையான திராட்சைரசமும், இறைச்சியும் கொழுப்புமுள்ள பதார்த்தங்களும், தெளிந்த பழமையான திராட்சைரசமும் நிறைந்த விருந்தாயிருக்கும்.
7 He will destroy on this mountain the covering over all peoples, the web woven over all the nations.
௭சகல மக்கள்மேலுமுள்ள முக்காட்டையும், சகல தேசங்களையும் மூடியிருக்கிற மூடலையும், இந்த மலையிலே அகற்றிப்போடுவார்.
8 He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord Yahweh will wipe away tears from off all faces; the disgrace of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Yahweh has spoken it.
௮அவர் மரணத்தை ஜெயமாக விழுங்குவார்; கர்த்தராகிய தேவன் எல்லா முகங்களிலுமிருந்து கண்ணீரைத் துடைத்து, தமது மக்களின் அவப்பெயரை பூமியிலிராதபடிக்கு முற்றிலும் நீக்கிவிடுவார்; யெகோவாவே இதைச் சொன்னார்.
9 It will be said on that day, “Look, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us. This is Yahweh; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”
௯அக்காலத்திலே: இதோ, இவரே நம்முடைய தேவன்; இவருக்காகக் காத்திருந்தோம், இவர் நம்மை காப்பாற்றுவார்; இவரே யெகோவா, இவருக்காகக் காத்திருந்தோம்; இவருடைய காப்பாற்றுதலால் களிகூர்ந்து மகிழுவோம் என்று சொல்லப்படும்.
10 For on this mountain the hand of Yahweh will rest; and Moab will be trampled down in his place, even as straw is trampled down in a pit filled with manure.
௧0யெகோவாவுடைய கரம் இந்த சீயோனின் மலையிலே தங்கும்; வைக்கோல் எருக்களத்தில் மிதிக்கப்படுவதுபோல, மோவாப் அவர்கீழ் மிதிக்கப்பட்டுப்போகும்.
11 They will spread their hands in the midst of it, as a swimmer spreads his hands to swim. But Yahweh will bring down their pride in spite of the skill of their hands.
௧௧நீந்துகிறவன் நீந்துவதற்காகத் தன் கைகளை விரிப்பதுபோல் அவர் தமது கைகளை அவர்கள் நடுவிலே விரித்து, அவர்களுடைய பெருமையையும், அவர்கள் கைகளின் சதித்திட்டங்களையும் தாழ்த்திவிடுவார்.
12 Your high fortress walls he will bring down to the ground, to the dust.
௧௨அவர் உன் மதில்களுடைய உயர்ந்த பாதுகாப்பை கீழே தள்ளித் தாழ்த்தித் தரையிலே தூளாக அழிப்பார்.
