Isaiah 23
1 A declaration about Tyre: Howl, you ships of Tarshish; for there is neither home nor harbor; from the land of Cyprus it has been revealed to them.
೧ತೂರಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿ. ತಾರ್ಷೀಷಿನ ಹಡಗುಗಳೇ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಶ್ರಯವು ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು, ನಿಮಗೆ ನೆಲೆಯಿಲ್ಲ, ರೇವಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಿತ್ತೀಮ್ ದೇಶದವರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು.
2 Be silent, you inhabitants of the coast; the merchant of Sidon, who travels over the sea, has filled you.
೨ದ್ವೀಪಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವ, ಚೀದೋನಿನ ವರ್ತಕರಿಂದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರೇ, ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಿ!
3 Upon the great waters was the grain of Shihor, the harvest of the Nile was her produce; and it became the commerce of the nations.
೩ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಸಾಗರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಂದ ಶೀಹೋರಿನ ಧಾನ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ, ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯ ಬೆಳೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಆದಾಯಹೊಂದಿದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಗರವು ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
4 Be ashamed, Sidon; for the sea has spoken, the mighty one of the sea. He says, “I have not labored nor given birth, nor have I raised young men nor brought up young women.”
೪ಚೀದೋನೇ, ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸಮುದ್ರವೂ, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ದುರ್ಗವೂ, “ನಾವು ವೇದನೆ ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಪ್ರಸವಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಯುವತಿ ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಸಾಕಿ ಸಲಹಲಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ನುಡಿದಿದೆಯಷ್ಟೆ.
5 When the report comes to Egypt, they will be grieved concerning Tyre.
೫ತೂರಿನ ಸಮಾಚಾರವು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಟಪಡುವರು.
6 Cross over to Tarshish; wail, you inhabitants of the coast.
೬ತಾರ್ಷೀಷಿಗೆ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗಿರಿ, ದ್ವೀಪ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ!
7 Has this happened to you, the joyful city, whose origin is from ancient times, whose feet carried her far away to foreign places to settle?
೭ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಇದೇನೋ? ಅದರ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯು ಪುರಾತನವಾದದ್ದೇ ಸರಿ; ಅವರ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ದೂರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವವು.
8 Who has planned this against Tyre, the giver of crowns, whose merchants are princes, whose traders are the honored ones of the earth?
೮ಅದು ಕಿರೀಟದಾಯಕವಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು. ಅದರ ವರ್ತಕರು ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು, ಅದರ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘನವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂಥ ತೂರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಈ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಯಾರು?
9 Yahweh of hosts has planned it to dishonor her pride and all her glory, to shame all her honored ones of the earth.
೯ಗರ್ವದ ಸಕಲ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಹೊಲಸು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘನವುಳ್ಳವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಹೀಗೆ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
10 Plow your land, as one plows the Nile, daughter of Tarshish. There is no longer a marketplace in Tyre.
೧೦ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್ ನಗರಿಯೇ, ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತು. ತೂರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
11 Yahweh has reached out with his hand over the sea, and he has shaken the kingdoms; he has given a command concerning Phoenicia, to destroy the strongholds.
೧೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಕಾನಾನಿನ ದುರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಲು ಅದರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
12 He said, “You will not rejoice again, oppressed virgin daughter of Sidon; arise, pass over to Cyprus; but neither there you will have rest.”
೧೨ಆತನು, “ಹಿಂಸೆಗೆ ಈಡಾದ ಕನ್ಯೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಚೀದೋನ್ ನಗರಿಯೇ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಹರ್ಷವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಎದ್ದು ಕಿತ್ತೀಮಿಗೆ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗು, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿನಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಇರದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
13 See the land of the Chaldeans. This people has ceased to be; the Assyrians have made it a wilderness for wild animals. They set up their siege towers; they demolished its palaces; they made it a heap of ruins.
೧೩ಇಗೋ, ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ದೇಶವು! ಈ ಜನಾಂಗವು ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಯಿತು. ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ಯರು ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಈಡುಮಾಡಿದರು. ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
14 Howl, you ships of Tarshish; for your refuge has been destroyed.
೧೪ತಾರ್ಷೀಷಿನ ಹಡಗುಗಳೇ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಶ್ರಯವು ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು.
15 In that day, Tyre will be forgotten for seventy years, like the days of a king. After the end of seventy years there will happen in Tyre something like in the song of the prostitute.
೧೫ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತೂರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಒಬ್ಬ ಅರಸನ ಆಡಳಿತದ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ತನಕ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರದೇ ಇರುವುದು; ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದ ಮೇಲೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಿ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಗೀತೆಯಂತೆ ಆಗುವುದು.
16 Take a harp, go about the city, you forgotten prostitute; play it well, sing many songs, so that you may be remembered.
೧೬ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಮರೆತುಹೋದ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಿಯೇ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಾ, ಜನರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನುಡಿಸಿ, ಬಹಳ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡು” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
17 It will come about that after seventy years, Yahweh will help Tyre, and she will start making money again by doing the work of a prostitute, and she will offer her services to all the kingdoms of the earth.
೧೭ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತೂರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಪರಾಂಬರಿಸುವನು. ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಆದಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಕಲ ಅರಸರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮಾಡುವಳು.
18 Her profits and earnings will be set apart to Yahweh. They will not be stored up or kept in the treasury, for her profits will be given to those who live in Yahweh's presence and will be used to supply them with abundant food and so they can have the best quality clothing.
೧೮ಅವಳ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ಆದಾಯವೂ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ನಿಧಿನಿಕ್ಷೇಪವಾಗದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೇ ಮೀಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಆ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಅನ್ನವನ್ನೂ, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಉಡುಪನ್ನೂ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವುದು.
