Isaiah 16
1 Send rams to the ruler of the land from Selah in the wilderness, to the mount of the daughter of Zion.
Sendet die Fettschafe des Landesherrschers von Sela durch die Wüste nach dem Berge der Tochter Zion.
2 As wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so the women of Moab are at the fords of the Arnon River.
Und es geschieht, wie umherflatternde Vögel, wie ein aufgescheuchtes Nest sind die Töchter Moabs an den Übergängen des Arnon.
3 “Give instruction, execute justice; provide some shade like night in the middle of the day; hide the fugitives; do not betray the fugitives.
Schaffe Rat, triff Entscheidung; mache deinen Schatten der Nacht gleich am hellen Mittag, verbirg die Vertriebenen, den Flüchtling entdecke nicht!
4 Let them live among you, the refugees from Moab; be a hiding place for them from the destroyer.” For the oppression will stop, and destruction will cease, those who trample will disappear from the land.
Laß meine Vertriebenen bei dir weilen, Moab! Sei ein Schutz vor dem Verwüster! Denn der Bedrücker hat ein Ende, die Zerstörung hat aufgehört, die Zertreter sind aus dem Lande verschwunden.
5 A throne will be established in covenant faithfulness; and one from David's tent will faithfully sit there. He will judge as he seeks justice and does righteousness.
Und ein Thron wird durch Güte aufgerichtet werden; und auf ihm wird im Zelte Davids einer sitzen in Wahrheit, der da richtet und nach Recht trachtet und der Gerechtigkeit kundig ist.
6 We have heard of Moab's pride, his arrogance, his boasting, and his anger. But his boastings are empty words.
Wir haben vernommen den Hochmut Moabs, des sehr Hochmütigen, seine Hoffart und seinen Hochmut und sein Wüten, sein eitles Prahlen.
7 So Moab wails for Moab—they all wail! Mourn, you who are utterly destroyed, for the raisin cakes of Kir Hareseth.
Darum wird Moab heulen über Moab; alles wird heulen. Um die Traubenkuchen von Kir-Hareseth werdet ihr seufzen, tief betrübt;
8 The fields of Heshbon have dried up as well as the vines of Sibmah. The rulers of the nations have trampled the choice vines that reached to Jazer and spread into the desert. Its shoots spread abroad; they went over to the sea.
denn Hesbons Fluren sind verwelkt, der Weinstock von Sibma. Die Herren der Nationen schlugen seine Edelreben nieder; sie reichten bis Jaser, irrten durch die Wüste; seine Ranken breiteten sich aus, gingen über das Meer.
9 Indeed I will weep along with Jazer for the vineyard of Sibmah. I will water you with my tears, Heshbon, and Elealeh. For on your fields of summer fruits and harvest I have ended the shouts of joy.
Darum weine ich mit dem Weinen Jasers über den Weinstock von Sibma, ich überströme dich mit meinen Tränen, Hesbon und Elale. Denn über deine Obsternte und über deine Weinlese ist ein lauter Ruf gefallen;
10 Gladness and joy are taken away from the fruit tree groves; and there is no singing, or shouts in the vineyards. No one treads out wine in the presses, for I have put an end to the shouts of the one who treads.
und verschwunden sind Freude und Frohlocken aus dem Fruchtgefilde, und in den Weinbergen wird nicht gejubelt, nicht gejauchzt; der Keltertreter tritt keinen Wein in den Keltern; dem lauten Rufe habe ich ein Ende gemacht.
11 So my heart sighs like a harp for Moab, and my inward being for Kir Hareseth.
Darum rauschen meine Eingeweide wegen Moabs wie eine Laute, und mein Inneres wegen Kir-Heres'.
12 When Moab wears himself out on the high place and enters his temple to pray, his prayers will accomplish nothing.
Und es wird geschehen, wenn Moab erscheint, sich abmüht auf der Höhe und in sein Heiligtum eintritt, um zu beten, so wird es nichts ausrichten.
13 This is the word that Yahweh spoke concerning Moab previously.
Das ist das Wort, welches Jehova vorlängst über Moab geredet hat.
14 Again Yahweh speaks, “Within three years, the glory of Moab will disappear; in spite of his many people, the remnant will be very few and insignificant.”
Jetzt aber redet Jehova und spricht: In drei Jahren, wie die Jahre eines Tagelöhners, da wird die Herrlichkeit Moabs verächtlich gemacht werden samt all der großen Menge; und der Überrest wird sehr gering, nicht groß sein.
