Isaiah 15
1 A declaration about Moab. Indeed, in one night Ar of Moab is laid waste and destroyed; indeed, in one night Kir of Moab is laid waste and destroyed.
Бреме Моаву. Да, обноћ се раскопа Ар моавски и пропаде; да, обноћ се раскопа Кир моавски и пропаде.
2 They have gone up to the temple, the people of Dibon went up to the heights to weep; Moab laments over Nebo and over Medeba. All their heads are shaved bare and all their beards are cut off.
Отиде у дом и у Девон, на висине, да плаче: Моав ће ридати за Невоном и за Медевом, све ће му главе бити ћелаве, свака брада оскубена.
3 In their streets they wear sackcloth; on their housetops and in the square everyone wails, melting in tears.
По улицама ће његовим припасивати кострет, на крововима његовим и на улицама његовим све ће ридати сузе лијући.
4 Heshbon and Elealeh call out for help; their sound is heard as far as Jahaz. So the armed men of Moab call out for help; they tremble within themselves.
И викаће Есевон и Елеала, до Јасе чуће им се глас; и војници ће моавски викати, душа ће се у сваком узмучити.
5 My heart cries out for Moab; her fugitives flee to Zoar and to Eglath Shelishiyah. They go up the ascent of Luhith weeping; on the road to Horonaim they loudly wail over their destruction.
Срце моје вапије за Моавом; бегунци његови побегоше дори до Сигора као јуница трећакиња; јер ће се ићи уз брдо луитско плачући, и путем оронајимским разлегаће се јаук.
6 The waters of Nimrim are a desolation; the grass is withered; the vegetation has dried up; there is no more green grass.
Јер ће нестати вода нимримских, јер ће посахнути биље, нестаће траве, зелени неће бити.
7 The abundance they have grown and stored they carry away over the brook of the poplars.
И зато што су остављали и што су чували однеће се на поток арапски.
8 The cry has gone around the territory of Moab; the wailing as far as Eglaim and Beer Elim.
Јер ће вика ићи око међа моавских, до Еглаима јаук њихов, и до Вир-Елима јаук њихов.
9 For the waters of Dimon are full of blood; but I will bring even more upon Dimon. A lion will attack those who escape from Moab and also those remaining in the land.
Јер ће се вода димонска напунити крви; и још ћу дометнути Димону, на бегунце моавске и на остатак земаљски послаћу лавове.
