Isaiah 11
1 A shoot will sprout from the stump of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.
И изыдет жезл из корене Иессеова, и цвет от корене его взыдет:
2 The Spirit of Yahweh will rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of instruction and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.
и почиет на нем Дух Божий, дух премудрости и разума, дух совета и крепости, дух ведения и благочестия:
3 His delight will be the fear of the Lord; he will not judge by what his eyes see, nor decide by what his ears hear.
исполнит его дух страха Божия: не по славе судити имать, ниже по глаголанию обличит,
4 Instead, he will judge the poor with righteousness and decide fairly for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
но судит правдою смиренному суд и обличит правостию смиренныя земли, и поразит землю словом уст Своих и духом устен убиет нечестиваго:
5 Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt around his hips.
и будет препоясан правдою о чреслех Своих и истиною обвит по ребрам Своим:
6 The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, the calf, the young lion and the fattened calf, together. A little child will lead them.
и пастися будут вкупе волк с агнцем, и рысь почиет со козлищем, и телец и юнец и лев вкупе пастися будут, и отроча мало поведет я:
7 The cow and the bear will graze together, and their young will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.
и вол и медведь вкупе пастися будут, и вкупе дети их будут, и лев аки вол ясти будет плевы:
8 A baby will play over the hole of the snake, and the weaned child will put his hand on the serpent's den.
и отроча младо на пещеры аспидов и на ложе изчадий аспидских руку возложит:
9 They will not hurt nor destroy on all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.
и не сотворят зла, ни возмогут погубити ни когоже на горе святей Моей: яко наполнися вся земля ведения Господня, аки вода многа покры море.
10 On that day, the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will seek him out, and his resting place will be glorious.
И будет в день оный корень Иессеов, и востаяй владети языки, на того языцы уповати будут: и будет покой его честь.
11 On that day, the Lord will again extend his hand to recover the remnant of his people who remain in Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the islands of the sea.
И будет в день оный, приложит Господь показати руку Свою, еже возревновати по останку прочему людий, иже аще останет от Ассириов и от Египта, и Вавилона и от Ефиопии, и от Еламитов и от Востоков солнца, и от Аравии и от островов морских.
12 He will set up a banner for the nations and will gather the outcasts of Israel and the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
И воздвигнет знамение в языки, и соберет погибшыя Израилевы, и расточенныя Иудины соберет от четырех крил земли.
13 He will turn aside the envy of Ephraim, and hostilities of Judah will be cut off. Ephraim will not envy Judah, and Judah will no longer be hostile to Ephraim.
И отимется ревность Ефремова, и врази Иудины погибнут: Ефрем не возревнует Иуде, и Иуда не оскорбит Ефрема.
14 Instead they will swoop down on the Philistine hills on the west, and together they will plunder the people of the east. They will attack Edom and Moab, and the people of Ammon will obey them.
И полетят в кораблех иноплеменничих, море купно пленят, и сущих от Восток солнца, и Идумею: и на Моава первее руки возложат, сынове же Аммони первии покорятся.
15 Yahweh will completely destroy the gulf of the Sea of Egypt. With his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the Euphrates River and will divide it into seven streams, so it can be crossed over in sandals.
И опустошит Господь море Египетское и возложит руку Свою на реку духом пресильным: и поразит на седмь дебрий, якоже преходити ю во обувении:
16 There will be a highway for the remnant of his people that return from Assyria, as there was for Israel in their coming up from the land of Egypt.
и будет прошествие людем Моим оставшым во Египте, и будет Израилю, якоже в день, егда изыде от земли Египетския.
