< Hebrews 8 >
1 Now the point of what we are saying is this: We have a high priest who has sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens.
Tu in i son sa thu te sung ah a thupibel sia: vantung ah Vangletna kumpi tokhum ziatsang ah a to thiampi sang i nei hi;
2 He is a servant in the holy place, the true tabernacle that the Lord, not a man, set up.
Mihing i sak hi ngawl Topa i sak a maan biakbuk le mun thiangtho sung ah naseam pa a hihi.
3 For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary to have something to offer.
Banghangziam cile thiampi sang peuma sia letsong te le biakpiakna te pia tu in nasep piak te a hihi: tua ahikom hisia pa in zong a piak tu khatpo a piak tu a nei hamtang kul hi.
4 Now if Christ were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, since there are those who offer the gifts according to the law.
Ama sia leitung ah om hile, thiampi hi ngawl tu hi, banghangziam cile thukham taw kizui in letsong pia tu thiampi te om hi:
5 They serve in a tabernacle that is a copy and shadow of the heavenly things. It is just as Moses was warned by God when he was about to construct the tabernacle: God said, “See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain.”
Amate in vantung nate i a ette tu le lim atu in naseam hi, banghangziam cile, Moses in biakbuk a sak tu ciang in, mualtung ah kong lak sa lim bang in na theampo vawt in, ci in hil hi.
6 But now Christ has received a much better ministry, just as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which is based on better promises.
Ahihang tu in Ama sia a phazaw kamciam te tung ah dinmun phazaw kamciam i palai ahi hu in a phazaw Pathian nasep nga zo hi.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant.
Banghangziam cile a masa thuciam sia bangma khialna om ngawl ahile, a ni na zon kul natu thu om ngawl hi.
8 For when God found fault with the people, he said, “See, the days are coming—says the Lord— when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.
Banghangziam cile a hilna a mu na uh ah Topa in, en vun, Israel innkuan le Judah innkuan taw thuciam thak ka vawt tu ni hong theng zo hi:
9 It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors on the day that I took them by their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not carefully obey my covenant, and I disregarded them —says the Lord.
Egypt ngamsung pan in amate sia ka khut taw kai in ka paipui a, a pu le pa te taw ka vawt thuciam bang in hi ngawl hi; banghangziam cile ka thuciam sung ah a om paisuak ngawl uh hu in, amate sia bangma thusimngawl khi hi, Topa in ci hi.
10 This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days —says the Lord. I will put my laws into their minds, and I will also write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
Banghangziam cile tua ni te zawkciang, Israel innkuan taw thuciam vawt tu khi hi, ka thukham te sia amate thinsung ah ka koi tu a, taciang amate lungtang tung ah ka at tu hi: taciang keima sia amate Pathian ka hi tu a, amate sia ka mihing te hi tu hi, Topa in ci hi:
11 They will not teach each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord.' For they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
Taciang amate in a innpam le a suapui te sia, Topa he tavun, ci in hil ngawl tu hi: banghangziam cile a nobel pan a lianbel dong in keima hong he tu uh hi.
12 For I will be merciful toward their evil deeds, and their sins I will not remember any longer.”
Banghangziam cile keima in amate thutan ngawl na sung ah ka hesuak tu hi, taciang amate mawna te le phatngawlna te ka phawkkik nawn batu hi.
13 By calling this covenant “new,” he declared the first covenant to be old, and what has become old and obsolete will soon disappear.
Thuciam thak, a ci ciang in a masa thuciam sia a lui suaksak hi. Tu in a tul le a lui va-ial sia sia hai ngawl in bo tu in ki thoai zo hi.
